Old lady in the supermarket when you're in a rush. We've all been there -
Does anyone happen to have a white outdoor pool from Nook's that I could request? Happy to give 3 Miles Tickets in exchange (or a brick pool if you prefer that)

Happy Aneres11 Day!

Yeah there's tons of lore to the game, it's surprisingly deep but like you say none of it is directly communicated to you, most of it is done environmentally. There's plenty of google results about it and mossbag on YouTube makes brilliant Hollow Knight lore videos.

Yeah the models are great. There's a giant green butterfly around at the moment, I forget the name, but the model of that is huge!

This isn't about the relative quality of the franchises. You don't give a shit about Star Wars, I don't give a shit about Marvel. (A tediously over-used time travel reset button resolution to Infinity War, full of plotholes? How fucking lame was that!) Marvel sticks to a formula because they have decades of comic books already released to make movies out of. They've done a good job tying it all together but the stories are already out there that people like. It's easy to have a vision when every storyline is on the table in front of you already. Star Wars is crafting new stories all the time, which is obviously much harder. Sure the sequels could have done with a bit more planning ahead of time but the original trilogy was made up as it went along and the Mandalorian, Rogue One, Rebels and The Clone Wars are hugely popular at the very least. But yeah, this isn't about one versus the other. We all have different tastes. My point is Marvel is the definition of oversaturation, it's why I barely give two fucks about it nowadays, I just got burned out by 22 films in 11 years and 9 tv series. With 4 more films and 4 more tv shows in the next couple of years planned. THAT is oversaturation, not Star Wars, and it looks the way Trek is going right now.

I keep seeing all these cool space items people get from Celeste. I think in over 200 hours I've spotted her 3 times, and gotten two diys from it Also... first bug I've seen in all that time

Both franchises had big climax films last year, but it's been 22 Marvel films in 11 years, and like 9 tv shows with plenty more on the way. Sorry just a bugbear of mine that people use Star Wars to refer to over-saturation when Marvel's far worse. Star Trek looks to be heading a similar way, Discovery, Picard, Strange New Worlds, the Section 31 show + 2 animated shows.... does seem like a lot all at once.

Fixed that for you

Some creations out there are pretty incredible. And depressing to look at https://www.reddit.com/user/thirtytwoounces/

Colour Splash was fantastic and should be judged on its own merits, not what it isn't compared to TTYD. It was the same with Mario 3D World being judged on how it wasn't Galaxy, rather than what it did in its own right.

The openworld is the biggest question mark for me too. It's a problem I had with Spider-Man, just how cookie cutter and dated the the world felt with meaningless towers, checkboxes and repeated encounters. This one seems really empty which is fine but even points of interest like shrines don't seem to be up to much beyond "press R2 to get an experience point".

I'd just assume that a lot of the hard work has already been done with the systems, world building, storyline etc in place for these sequels so three years sounds about right. Maybe it'll come in March 2021, 4 years after the original but I'd be surprised if they let Halo + Game Pass on Xbox steal the launch spotlight. I think a big chunk of these two console markets, the COD and FIFA type casual gamers, are pretty fickle and have no problem jumping ship at a moment's notice. Especially when something like Game Pass is so much more marketable and attractive than 'fast SSD' to the average consumer.

Seriously? I think those are much further along, especially Horizon 2, that has to be their launch game surely.

I don't think it'd made much of a difference. PS4 has had big first party games since 2017, every 6 months or so there's a big release, which is good. I just don't like how they announce things years in advance and then have nothing to reveal for the last three years of a console's life. It seems weird to me. Maybe it helped sell more consoles in the long run but in terms of engaging your fanbase it just seems a bit lacklustre. I much prefer Nintendo's short reveal > release window, with a few big tentpole title reveals sprinkled in that are far off like Zelda or MP4. They'll (surely) have tons to announce now after three years of radio silence which should be exciting. Obviously third person action games are their thing, and I'm kind of craving one of those right now.

Hopefully games games games! A big launch title and actual first party support in its first year please.

YES!!!! I adore this game

I'm kind of with you. It looks impressive certainly but the gameplay in the openworld seems a bit hit and miss from what little we see here. I don't think it helped having them show 5 minutes getting to a shrine and then "Press R2 to honour shrine", a progress bar fills up and you walk away. Combat looks great though and it's visually stunning.

Same I'll wait for whatever the Nintendo store give away, unless it's much cheaper on other sites. Really looking forward to this. It'll be nice to have another big adventure game to play. Nintendo often evolve or revolutionise some Nintendo franchises with each entry, like 3D Mario, Zelda, Metroid etc but there are a few that are more like comfort food where they mix things up a bit but are generally pretty iterative like Yoshi, Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion. The quality is so high in those three cases that it's not a problem though. For me at least

There was tons of charm and personality in Colour Splash, it was bursting with it. But yeah the Toads were all just different colours. Suspect this'll be like Colour Splash but with a better battle system. It's being described on the official site as an Action Adventure, which as someone who's sick of all the RPGs releasing on Switch, is music to my ears.

WOW Looks awesome!!! From reveal > release in two months, yes please!!! Great trailer, I loved Colour Splash but the scope of this looks way bigger. I've only played Super Paper Mario on the Wii (loved it), Sticker Star (enjoyed it) and Colour Splash, so I'm happy with whatever style they give us.
