I can't believe they gave Mass Effect all of two minutes. Pretty gutted no remastered collection of the original trilogy. The demand for that seems to be huge.

They announced it was coming to Xbox months ago. It's an amazing game but those expecting a storyline will be disappointed. It's mostly a space sim, no storyline at all. You just wander around the 400 billion stars and do whatever you want. The dogfighting action is excellent though.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, what's the difference between this and the dozens of other openworld shooters/RPGs? When Guillemont mentioned a new IP I was hoping for something totally different, not another shooter ffs.

Can I make a request that we keep this thread spoiler free or at least spoiler tagged until after the Digital Event please. With so many leaks going on it's a minefield out there. Only opened the new amiibo leak for a split second and it was enough to tempt me offline for two days. Also can we not reveal leaks in thread titles till the presentation? Things like Hyrule Warriors (3DS). If you want to start a new thread on a leak then don't put the name of the game as the thread title. Sound ok?

Amazing effort with Ryu, the attention to detail is stunning. Great addition.

Single player is such fun, just beaten the second boss. Those battles especially are so polished and straight out of Mario Galaxy, but defeating them is 10x more satisfying.

I assumed they told IGN approx how long it'll be, or maybe they're just going on how long last year's was.

Awesome work. I'm a bit annoyed IGN only have a 15 min Nintendo post-show, on account of Square Enix's conference starting soon after the Digital Event.

Maybe survival horror although you could argue Luigi's Mansion is their spin on that genre.

I don't think there are too many broad genres they don't have a franchise in tbh Platformer - Mario, Yoshi, Kirby Racing - Mario Kart/F-Zero Shooter - Splatoon Action/Adventure - Zelda/Metroid RPG - Pokemon Puzzle - Captain Toad Arcade Shooter - Starfox RTS - Pikmin Life sim - Animal Crossing Sports - Mario Golf/Strikers Party - Mario Party Some kind of openworld game would be new for them I guess, although Zelda U should have that covered

As my first ever team-based multiplayer shooter, is the way it divides up the sides par for the course? I don't understand why they can't balance both sides equally. So many times one team had level 20's and 15's and the other the highest was 13. I know high levels don't always equate to skill, but it mostly does.

Yeah I think Zech's list is about right. The big Wii U announcements to be Starfox, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario and Retro's new game + lots of DLC, amiibo and updates on Yoshi and Mario Maker. Hopefully a bit of 3DS goodness in there too

Episodic Starfox would be great I think. Otherwise you'll have people complete the whole game in an hour and never touch it again.

I'll tell you after the conferences as Sony and Microsoft compete to see who can show off more identical looking games. Good to know we can go around calling people tools and not get a warning though. What rubbish. I contribute all the time. If you posted in the Nintendo game threads you'd see that.

Most online literature refer to it as an "openworld third person shooter" The reaction lowered the tone. All I was suggesting is that I'm sure we could survive without Crackdown being there. Plenty more to fill the gap.

IGN have a nice vid to get people hyped for E3... Just a shame 90% of the games are shooters

Whilst you give yourself a warning for that, I'll apologise and get on a message that's acceptable round here: "There are so many f-ing platformers on Wii U" Far more acceptable. What would you call it?
