  1. I hope the other four dozen openworld shooters being shown off can pick up the slack of no Crackdown being there.
  2. Smash Bros Direct on Sunday Pre-Nintendo World Championships Treehouse show Nintendo World Championships Digital Event on Tuesday All day Treehouse Live streams on Tues, Wed and Thurs. Yep, very underwhelming. Clearly they've given up on E3
  3. Seems pretty clear that all this weekly content was ready from day 1, they're just giving it to us bit by bit.
  4. I'm sure he was already planning on using that brilliant Iwata one
  5. Are you saying... this game needs voice chat! ?
  6. It sounds like what started off as a pretty modestly planned title is turning into this giant project. Can't wait. I really hope they include some pre-designed level packs in there though.
  7. Regardless, shouldn't be happening.
  8. A piece of the 50 million 3DS market? These are small announcements, the likes of which we would roll our eyes at if they were part of the E3 presentation. They're just getting them out of the way. No idea how you figure that, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Or perhaps... you have no clue what they're doing?
  9. Love Kelp Dome. What I don't like is being in a team of level 10-13's and being matched against 3 level 20's and an 18. How is that fair?
  10. AMAZING @RedShell!!!!!!! Thanks so much As for the Wonderful 102, surely it's confirmed. He wouldn't be that cruel right??
  11. That'll teach for trying to understand the big N's ways. Having said all this, if Hyrule Warriors 3DS had been announced in the Digital Event, we'd all be a bit so may as well get it out of the way, like their other smaller announcements.
  12. Nintendo just get more wtf with each passing week
  13. Ice Climbers (NES style) Captain Toad Cat Mario please (Awesome 6 animation!)
  14. Buy it, it's brilliant fun!
  15. I like how they're adding content every week. It's a great way of doing things I reckon and fits in with Nintendo's new long term strategy for keeping their games relevant. Splatfest trailer was brilliant.
  16. Amazing work. There seems to be a huge fan art community for this game.
  17. The gameplay looks about as uninspired as it can get
  18. You're forgetting the live presentation they did behind closed doors in 2013 (can't remember if they did one in 2014). Developers and the press mingling as Iwata and co demoed all the games on the show floor. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=live+demo+2013+e3+miyamoto&client=safari&hl=en-gb&biw=320&bih=460&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=8fl2VZPeG4naUeSrgbAI&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ
  19. It's very strange eh. Such an alien concept for N-Europe. Having said that, go through most of the big Nintendo release threads since the Wii U launched and you'll see plenty of praise. It's probably a bit different with Splatoon because it's a new concept, that happens to be awesome fun.
  20. I'm sure he does, it was a very fair post.
  21. As long as they're more like the entertaining, varied 2014 Digital Event than the 2013 E3 Direct.
  22. I just meant the quote about it being right after the Digital Event seemed to point to it being a Nintendo game. The fact that in actual fact it's 6 hours later disregards any potential connection to the Event IMO. Could be though, I obviously hope it's a Nintendo game.
