  1. What are you having trouble with in terms of flying? In supercruise or normal space? I've only played the PC version but have put in about 100+ hours into it so happy to help with any questions
  2. Would definitely double dip and play it again on Switch!
  3. This definitely isn't just Splatoon 1.5. Enjoyed that Direct a lot, they've really struck gold with this new IP
  4. The Wii U had an appalling first year, software wise. The Switch is having an incredible first year. Nintendo was never big on third party support and it's the downside of having a powerful handheld instead of a powerful console. The gap in horsepower doesn't allow multiplatorm games to release on Switch at the same time as PS4/XBO There's a big eShop game releasing pretty much every week or two, NONE of them interest you? After finishing all three Shovel Knight campaigns, Wonder Boy, Snake Pass, Fast RMX, Snipperclips I'm looking forward to playing Graceful Explosion Machine, Kamiko, Tumble Seed, Shantae, Mighty Gunvolt Burst, GoNNER, Binding of Isaac, Sonic Mania, Axiom Verge, Pocket Rumble, Rime, Redout, Stardew Valley, Steamworld Dig 2, Runner 3, Enter the Gungeon, Overcooked, Hollow Knight, Owlboy all before Mario and Xenoblade, and Fire Emblem and Skyrim come out.
  5. There's a fair bit going on in the PC build at the moment. The alien invasion is about to be added in the next update 2.4 and there's a ton of clues and spooky goings on in the game these past few months with regard to their return in the galaxy. Just infiltrated one of the handful of alien outposts, very very cool.
  6. I might give GoNNER a try, it's gotten great reviews and looks pretty fun/challenging
  7. I might just cancel my PS Plus, it's been poor for a while and I can't remember the last time I actually downloaded anything from it.
  8. Very encouraging numbers from Japan especially given stock shortages and the fact that Splatoon 2 is still to come...
  9. Yeah the blurry visuals made me stop playing Snake Pass, just looked horrible in docked mode. No wonder they made the Switch version in a couple of days.
  10. Missed the pre-order yesterday, was gutted. Got an email today saying pre-orders were open, so I pre-ordered. Done. I know others are finding it more challenging, and I feel bad, but I don't think it's that much hassle really. It's just patience that's needed. They'll be back in stock at various points between now and September.
  11. Errr... yes? Ever wondered why console manufacturers don't tend to sell digital games from their eshop cheaper than RRP? It's so as to not piss of the retailers, keep them onside and get them to promote their stuff as much as possible. And they're doing as much as they can, by limiting supply to 1 per customer, just as they always do with sought-after products.
  12. Nintendo can't seem to win. There'd be uproar from retailers if Nintendo were keeping all stock to themselves. The onus should be on the retailers to limit it to 1 per customer, if they don't want to do that then people's anger should be directed towards them.
  13. The retailers are the only ones who can limit it to 1 per customer, but they don't care as long as these things get sold.
  14. It's not up to Nintendo to tell retailers to limit these things to 1 per customer. They'll be doing that on their own stores and have already said they'll be producing more SNES minis than they did NES minis.
  15. Yeah not holding out hope for Game. If anyone sees any on Toys R Us or the Ninty store could you post here please !
  16. Amazon will put more up and the official Nintendo store hasn't even put theirs up yet. There'll be more chances...
  17. Damn, everywhere except GAME has sold out
  18. Wow, amazing list of games!! Starfox 2!
  19. The last NVC with Jose was tough to watch end of a era. He'll leave a big Nintendo shaped hole at IGN
  20. I know the threads with new posts are bold with a circle/star next to it, it's just not as immediately obvious as the old board. Maybe it's the smaller font size. Anyway it's a tiny nitpick, and doesn't really matter, I'm just struggling with the legibility of this new board versus the very clear and obvious old one. Great work otherwise.
  21. Not sure if you're referring to my post or Choze's but I was talking about Jim Ryan. Funny parody tweet though.
  22. Is there any way of making threads with unread posts standout more, or conversely, make threads with no new posts less obvious? The old board was great in that you could instantly tell what threads were new.
  23. Great interview with Reggie (don't say that very often) https://waypoint.vice.com/en_us/article/43yzpm/nintendo-explains-why-they-didnt-focus-on-indie-games-at-e3 Key points: - Mentions Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon in the same sentence as 2018. - A big game every month this year on Switch, with "more to be announced", (suggests more in 2017) - Still committed to selling (shipping?) 13 million Switches in the first year - Working hard to catch up with huge demand - Wii U ports can't just be straight ports, they need added value/content for Nintendo to do re-release - Third party partnerships like Mario + Rabbids or Link costume in Skyrim will continue as long as there's trust and respect between both parties - E3 isn't the place for mobile, so more news coming soon. Animal Crossing still releasing this year, and like with Mario, FE, Pokemon, will help drive interest to core AC. - AM2R fan game deemed a conflict of interest with their own commercial product (which makes sense given the upcoming Samus Returns - E3 needs to re-evaluate how the show is organised if they want to continue selling public tickets
