  1. This looked absolutely insane. Definitely wasn't expecting a Mario 3D World theme!
  2. The art style is beautiful. I actually thought some of the shots in particular looked stunning. The style kind of reminds me of that Xbox indie coming soon: Tunic. But I just can't get that excited for another remake, eEspecially with all the ports heading onto Switch as is, even as a huge Zelda fan. Link Between Worlds gave us an overworld we'd already seen before and now this. Come on guys, give us something new. To go from expecting a brand new adventure to... a game I've already played with a flashy new art style is pretty gutting. I really hope they add to the game, but I suspect they'll barely do anything new. Real shame. Looks great though.
  3. That's quite possibly the worst logo I've ever seen (but cool otherwise)
  4. No such thing as a striker in rugby. Mario and Wario Props maybe
  5. As (probably) the biggest rugby fan on the board, I would love that more than a new Zelda
  6. Yeah it was obvious they were struggling for content last year, let alone this year coming up. I'm sure they'll be back in 2020 with a new console on the horizon.
  7. Maybe some Shovel Knight: King of Cards gameplay? I think it's coming out in the next few months. As for surprise announcements. I would LOVE a 2D Zelda game announced, unlikely and I'm not getting my hopes up but that would be amazing. I think it was around this time of year A Link Between Worlds was revealed, and Aonuma said a while back that he wasn't merging his handheld and home console teams for Switch, so....
  8. They might hold that back till E3 I guess, especially if they go all out on Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem. I really hope we see this Starfox GP game, either here or at E3. It's depressing to think Retro could have nothing to show for themselves in 5 years otherwise.
  9. The sad thing is, none of that would shock me. Especially all non Fire Emblem characters removed from Smash
  10. Team Cherry said that a "first look" for the DLC will come on Thursday. It may show up a day early but even if it does, it sounds like the release is still a little while out
  11. There's a rumoured Nintendo Direct this week (more likely than the last "rumour" apparently), so if it does happen I woudn't be surprised to see this shown off in that. Nintendo are quite happy to give triple I (ndie) games the spotlight in major Directs so maybe that'll happen here.
  12. First paid-for DLC to be revealed on Thursday. Exciting!
  13. The part with Jafar looked (and was acted like) a fan film. Genie definitely should have been CG. And not voiced by Will Smith.
  14. Mine... Not sure I'll bother with Uncharted 4 though, I tried playing the trilogy and the first one bored me to tears. The remaining indies on PSN will move over to Switch when they're announced.
  15. I'm fully aware of why Davide was crying and I wasn't suggesting his tears were anything but joyous. My point was the humanising of video game development in that moment might have made Emily Rogers regret or at least rethink her decision to leak games from hard working devs before they're ready to be revealed.
  16. I suspect Anthem will have a much better campaign/storyline than Destiny, so there's that. I'm obviously not expecting Mass Effect type length/depth (at release) but hopefully it's a meaty campaign and not a 5-10 hour thing. It sounds to me like they have plenty of content at launch and plenty of new stuff coming. I don't really know what else they can do? They're playing the story campaign close to their chest, but otherwise all the info is out there. They've revealed more about this game than most games get prior to release tbf. PS: forgot to say in my previous post, the suit customisation looks insane. So many different options, and I still can't decide which javelin I like the look of best. Probably the Ranger but the Storm seems cool too.
  17. Emily Rogers leaking Mario + Rabbids might have pissed off Ubisoft at the time but it probably did that game the world of good for this very reason.
  18. Well done her. A leaker with maturity, finally. Maybe Ubisoft man crying at the official reveal of a game she told everyone about months before made her realise that some things just aren't worth it.
  19. This game is looking fantastic, and the devs' communication and transparancy is pretty much unheard of. The VIP demo soured people but most of the issues were fixed for the open demo a week later and both of those were running a 6 week old build of the game. Reaction is definitely a lot more positive since then, especially after these new updates released today: And Part 1 if anyone missed it: The post-release roadmap so far: So excited, cannot wait.
  20. I think it's safe to say the whole Nintendo consoles have pathetic sales is pretty much dead at this point, there's always a great one on.
  21. I love those old school box arts. Mario Odyssey 2 should just be a picture of Mario on a pink background or something. With a logo that takes up half the box.
  22. Great post @Nicktendo although tbf Emily Rogers has been the least annoying leaker and she gets a ton of things right. That said her list is very hard to believe because frankly, unless some of those mystery games are 3rd party, it just seems like way too much in addition to what we already know is coming this year. Yoshi, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, Animal Crossing, Pokemon PLUS four new games and a Wii U port PLUS maybe Retro's game and a Metroid Prime trilogy? Just feels like fantasy to me, and as usual it'll end up doing more harm than good when everyone gets their hopes and expectations are dashed.
