  1. It's just annoying really, I seem to constantly get the low battery warning so I have to get up plug it into the charging dock, and use my other DS4 that I hopefully remembered to charge last time it ran out of battery etc. It's not a deal breaker obviously but even the maximum of 8 hours is poor compared to the competition. Mostly I just find it really uncomfortable to use. I'm not a fan of the left analog stick placement either given how that's your main method of control in most games. One thing I do like is how silent the buttons are though, the Xbox ones make this loud clicking sound every press, it drives me mad.
  2. By far the least comfortable controller I've ever used. When I go from the DS4 to the Switch Pro or the Xbox One my hands are practically thanking me. Such a huge difference in comfort. It also has a Fischer Price battery life, which doesn't help. 4 hours compared to the Switch Pro's 40 hours.
  3. That was actually my first thought as well, but Disney's deal with EA pretty much excludes it. Shame, there's a criminal lack of space shooters these days.
  4. I remember loving it at the time but playing it nowadays I’d probably have a different opinion. Some games you liked are best left in the past
  5. Hopefully they can keep on top of the design issues and put out quality of life improvements at a pretty fast pace. The full release next week is an even better version than yesterday's launch apparently. Have to say I find it really annoying that Origin members get the game a week early, hearing all these impressions while the rest of us twiddle our thumbs.
  6. Kotaku: Six Hours In, Anthem Has A Lot To Love Reaction seems really positive so far. Performance apparently way better than the demo (as most people suspected).
  7. Fair enough, I must have just been thinking of New Leaf then. Animal Crossing has always just felt like a summer game to me.
  8. The lack of release date worries me but then again it looks pretty far along/polished, so who knows
  9. Same here, got to 5th place on my second attempt. Since then been anywhere between 10 and 80 though
  10. I have a feeling Animal Crossing will end up being delayed till Q1 2020. With Mario Maker as a June release, Fire Emblem in July, AC just doesn't feel like an end of year game to me. I guess it could be August/September but that'd be a crazy short reveal > release schedule.
  11. Captain Toad DLC bought. Spent the handful of gold coins I’d gotten to get it 93p off
  12. From what I've seen online, most people seem to love the art style.
  13. Yeah they definitely made a point to highlight the slopes part. The 3D World theme makes me really happy, just thinking about that game makes me smile. It actually makes me wonder whether the next 2D Mario game will use that look, otherwise they'll have made all those assets and background art just for this.
  14. Oh I didn't even realise this was Switch Online exclusive, interesting. I was wondering what the catch was, given it's free to play and has no microtransactions.
  15. Just had a couple of games, brilliant idea and loads of fun. Got to 5th place somehow, crazy speed when you get to that point.
  16. I guess we have to wait another few years at least to get a brand new 2D Zelda game. So disappointing, feels like such a waste of time. First A Link Between World's reused overworld, then the pointless Tri Force Heroes, now another remake.
  17. Team Cherry are geniuses. All done by a team of 3 people. Personally, this got me more excited than anything in the Nintendo Direct. The animation and movement looks fantastic. Seems to only be for Switch and PC for now but I imagine other consoles will follow like before.
  18. My god it looks amazing! I was fully expecting a 10 hour or so DLC campaign but the way they're calling it sequel... wow! Team Cherry certainly know how to craft an epic trailer. Cannot f-ing wait.
  19. Crazy how this is out in 4 months. I love it when Nintendo do a quick reveal > release.
  20. So... New Super Mario Bros U DX Yoshi's Crafted World Daemon X Machina Fire Emblem: Three Houses Animal Crossing Super Mario Maker 2 Luigi's Mansion 3 Pokemon Gen 8 Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake Plus things like Astral Chain, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and a fair few big third party games and smaller eShop games... All in 2019. What a software drought.
  21. No Aninal Crossing or Luigi's Mansion shown, surprising. Guess they're being held back for E3
