  1. I've never had a controller break on me either, as in it just decides to stop working. I have however been responsible for destroying several controllers, thus rendering them broken.
  2. There's a vast difference in effects on the muscles and bones in your legs when running compared to walking.
  3. They're not Jon, they're a hell of a lot easier. No hanging of ledges trying to kill people 50 times Yeah, there's a few different endings. All depends on what choices you made throughout the game, who you sided with. One of the trophies requires all th endings, so that's why I did it
  4. How is that even possible dude? It took us months to do that in Uncharted 2! I've not looked at the trophies though, i'm only assuming they're somewhat similar to Uncharted 2.
  5. I've finished it......Twice. I'm now Trophy whoring. And then I can get this new Uncharted thing.
  6. Pffft, whose further on in the game?! I'm hoping it's me, or I may look rather foolish.
  7. No need to check whose online and what game they're playing, it will be Uncharted 3.
  8. Supernatural has always been a show for that I wait for the DVD to come out and watch it in a marathon session. I haven't seen season 6 yet but it's one of the few tv shows for me that has genuinely gotten better with every season. I always think there's nothing more they can add or introduce to one-up the season before, yet they always do.
  9. Yeah, absolutely. After the many mistakes in season 2, it goes from strength to strength afterwards. There's a really interesting dynamic that happens from Season 4 onwards that changes the whole show. Not wanting to spoil anything but i'd happily share some other bits if you're at all curious
  10. I used to be obsessed with watching TV Shows but there's very little nowadays that still captivates me like it used too. There are shows I enjoy when i watch them like Chuck, Big Bang Theory. The only show that still does it for me is Supernatural. I used to love shows like The OC, Smallville, Prison Break etc. but Scrubs, Jericho and Friday Night Lights were my absolute favourites. Not forgetting Friends, although that finished before I really got into watching TV Shows regularly.
  11. I happen to have 23 days off work that happily coincides with the release of this game and that wasn't intentionally planned.
  12. It'll be interesting to see who Wenger goes with as the centre back pairing now. Vermaelen is obviously a cert but who will his partner be? Surely he's got to stick with Koscielny, he's been absolutely immense lately, whilst Mertesacker hasn't been as impressive. It's a good problem to have mind you, and that's not including Djourou.
  13. Mertesacker was at fault for two of the goals. Unusually they were both aerial ones, he looked solid with the ground game. Mata's strike was class, obvious foul aside. We dominated the second half and looked like we could have cut Chelsea open every time we went forward. Can't say enough good things about Robin van Persie, he's the best striker in the world currently. I thought Theo and Ramsay had very good games but my favourite was Koscielny. I've always stood up for him when he was getting slated and in the last few games he's been brilliant. He was the only defender who came out of todays game with any credit, didn't put a foot wrong. Mistakes aside, we beat one of the best teams in the world away from home, 9 wins in last 10. Man City aside, we've now played all the top sides, so we should have a few 'easier' games ahead. It's only one game, but it's always good to remind those who forget what a great side we are. Great to have Vermaelen back, now if only we could keep Gibbs fit for more than 3 games at a time and get Sagna and Wilshere back. COYG.
  14. Good luck buddy. If she says no, you can always push her overboard
  15. Is it a constant ache? Sounds similar to my mates and that turned out to be a torn Rotator Cuff. He was told 4 months of not putting any stress on it. If it's not healed, he'll need surgery. Apparently there isn't a lot of blood flow there, so it takes a lot longer to heal and sometimes does't the intervention of a surgeon.
  16. What does how far you are from the club have to do anything? Isn't the fact that I'll spend £300 just to down to one game enough?
  17. Yep. I resembled something like a hamster for about a week afterwards. I got all 4 out at the same time but I had problems with the bottom 2. The top two were alright but the bottom 2 had actually come in on their sides. I remembering looking at the x-ray and thinking what the fuck. Unfortunately this meant they had to cut open the sides of my mouth to get the bottom 2 out, so it led to a longer than normal recovery time. It probably took a good 2 weeks until I could open my mouth fully again. Is it bleeding a lot? I was pretty much out of it for the whole day after getting it done and I woke up soaked in blood. My pillows were basically red and my face was covered in dried-in blood. Good times.
  18. I remember the agony well. I think the worst part besides the pain was having to use tweezers for weeks afterwards to get rid of food that got trapped where the stitches were until it healed up.
  19. Yeah, I got it. Given it a few listens and it's decent. Nothing immediately stood out for me, it's all pretty similar. I'll probably need to give it a few more listens.
  20. As much as i loathe Alan Hansen, I kinda agree with him. Come December and it's fecking freezing and the rain's pissing down away to a team like Everton or Wolves, I can't see Balotelli, Aguero and others being up for the fight if things aren't working out. City are great when they start well or score early, but there's been a few times this season when they've struggled and I still think their back four is dodgy.
  21. I woke up this morning, checked my phone and noticed I had received a reply from Jarret Stoll on Twitter. This would mean nothing to you pop culture junkies but Stoll is a forward for the Los Angeles Kings, who play in the NHL Here's a video of Jarret doing his stuff to celebrate.
  22. I'm thinking he's (wrongly) factoring in the 18st to 17st 14 as well
  23. 10.45 on BBC2 folks, Six in the City.
