  1. Why the fuck was The Event ever cancelled, it's fucking awesome. I'm just finished watching episode 12 and I don't think i've been as glued to a TV screen as much since the days of Star Trek: Enterprise. It's beyond epic, just literally amazing. So many different angles in each episode all revolved around the one big arc. Bringing in new twists every episode but not enough to mind fuck you and wonder if it's just going to be another Lost. It's actually everyone else's fault that it's not on anymore and I detest each and every one of you that didn't watch it. I could actually watch the remaining 10 episodes in a marathon session now but I want to prolong the joy the show has brought me until the painful moment it dawns on me that there will be no more Now i'm rambling like Wesley whilst attempting to channel my inner Paj and express how literally stunned this show has me.

    50/50

I was about to say the same thing. I used to watch this whenever it was on after school. Sally Gray and Flynn were such a team
  3. It pains me to say it but Kyle Walker is the best bet at right back, he's fast with good ability on the ball. Micah Richards is a freakish athlete but he looks cumbersome every time he touches the ball. Johnson had one good season and is still living off it.
  4. He obviously shops at John Lewis and Waitrose.
  5. I turned those off I'm not noticing any major difference, that said the battery drain use to vary all the time. It could hours losing barely anything then sometimes it could drain fairly quickly. Apparently turning off location services improves the battery. I've just done that, so we'll see if it improves some what.
  6. Yes. To get back to the point of this thread, my latest purchase.
  7. Shame there was only one +44 album, It's one of my favourites. Although Blink being back kind of makes up for it. Have you listened to Box Car Racer? A band made up of Tom and Travis from Blink and Dave from A&A. They only had one album but it's pretty decent, more darker than Blink but not as 'experimental' as A&A.
  8. I'm not looking for anything. I only wish that when people talk about her musically, they don't factor in anything else she does. Her music is no different than run of the mill pop. Now there's nothing with that, but it's not the new dawn like some idiots like to claim. I meant she's better than X-Factor as a generic example, as the majority of them don't write their own stuff. She's certainly no better than someone like Kelly Clarkson, yet that comment would no doubt outrage people because Clarkson doesn't arrive at award shows in a giant egg or wearing a dress made of meat.
  9. True, it puts her above your average X-Factor winner. All those other qualities may make her a better person but that don't factor into her music.
  10. You require no training, only know that the power is now yours to wield as frivolously as you like
  11. I didn't realise this was released today until I read your post Installing it now. If it makes it worse, it's barely gonna be worth ever turning the phone on.
  12. Lady Gaga musically is no different to any other pop singer. Her many 'quirks' doesn't change her music, although people seem to think it makes it so much more.
  13. Finished off Dragon Age: Origins 100%. Some annoying bugs aside, I really enjoyed it. I've got the Ultimate edition, so all the DLC was included for no extra cost and it was fairly impressive collection. Looking forward to playing Skyrim but I need a little break from fantasy themed RPG's for a little while
  14. The new Blink album is much more akin to A&A than the older Blink stuff.
  15. Angles & Airwaves have been of my favourite bands for a while, both of those albums are brilliant. I hate to use the ten concept album, but all the songs on each album do kind of fit together. You should get their 3rd album too, Love. It was available from free download from their site although i'm not sure if that's still the case.
  16. Finished off Dragon Age: Origins. Done all the DLC too except the expansion Awakening, which i'll start tomorrow. Don't know if anyone's done any DLC but I really liked the way they were done. All of them were unique, adding in missing plot points or telling the story from a different angle. The final boss in the Golems of Amgarrak, Harvester; what an absolute kent that is on Hard difficulty. Got there eventually but the controller came close to being destroyed on a couple of occasions
  17. One beer like you said isn't going to make any difference. If you're muscle building then you need to be taking on additional calories, striking the balance is taking on just enough to build the muscle with appropriate workouts whilst not taking on too many excess that will lead to fat.
  18. We'd couldn't replace him, that's clear but it would be time for someone else to step up and take their chance. Before last season, no one would have really though van Persie would be as lethal as he has been, or arguably the best striker in Europe*. It does help our case somewhat that we only play one up front, so don't need to carry too many extra strikers but I think Theo could do a job up front and Park looks decent and Chamakh does have the ability to be a leading striker, just needs to discover the form, which he'd probably do if given an extended run if RVP was out. *Obviously not counting Messi. Clearly he's not human, so would be a bit unfair to count him.
  19. They're all in essence 'Motion Pictures', in the truest sense of what the term actually means.
  20. Why the fuck are there so many good games out in such a short space of time? I'm still trying to finish all the Dragon Age: Origins DLC and there's Uncharted 3 and Batman: Arkham City having just been released with Skyrim out in a week. Not to mention my personal favourite NHL 12. I don't have enough time in the day to play these games.
  21. They same can be said for any team, If Silva gets injured for City, they'd be a different proposition entirely. Robin van Persie's been free of serious injuries for basically a year, he isn't more susceptible to injuries than anyone else, he's just had whole lot of bad luck. I'll live in the present, if van Persie was to get injured, we'll deal with it then, no point in theorising how we'll do based on something that could or could not happen because "he just will"
  22. I think the lack of a 20 goal striker will hurt Spurs. They have two players who potentially can do it but it's been a long time since either has and one will be off at the end of the season. I firmly believe we can beat any team, we're finally able to field a strong side, with competition for places and we've still to get two of our best players back in Sagna and Wilshere. I'm not making any bold predictions but I generally LOL at people saying there's too much ground to be made up in November with 6 months of the season to go and still having to play the top side twice. I'm also still wondering HOW IN THE BLUE HELL did Robin van Persie not get a nomination for the Ballon d'Or? I'm failing to see how Wayne Rooney did and van Persie didn't. What more has he got to do?
  23. Watched the first 5 episodes back when it was first on Channel 4 and really enjoyed it, unfortunately I lost track with it.
