Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin (18th March 2022)
darksnowman replied to Julius's topic in Other Consoles
Nah, they weren't operating under the moniker of Heroes of Light in FF VI as far as I remember. -
Anyone know of, or could link me to, a website that has good E3 summaries that I can catch up with? Something as minimal as a bullet point list of games shown in each video conference would be great. I just checked what S-E showed. Here's hoping there will be some juicy sclusies from them in the Nintendo Direct otherwise they've really screwed the pooch this year..

From what I understand, the problem is server-side so if you persist with the retries it should eventually work. I hope they get this resolved really soon because I am locked and loaded for the post-E3 Direct eShop sale!

Hey now, you listen.

I've been reading and re-reading that for the Nintendo news... Xbox... Playstation... Xbox... Playstation... Xbox... Playstation... But no mention of an OoT cross-over??!!

Looks like Southgate's going for the "we're gonna concede one less than you" approach. Buckets of vindaloo at the ready!
-
Apparently the players have decided that the show must go on. What about the other match, then? Overlap?
-
Crazy. Really tough to watch.

Nice header from the big man for Wales but where was the defence?

Thanks. If I'm ever looking for a book of that description I will be sure to hunt that one down. -
That's great to hear but err pics or it didn't happen, obv.

My bad. Didn't know you's are putting everything through a catchall thread before disseminating the info into individual game threads. Maybe a stickied notice or something would be good if you's plan to keep things in check.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (20th November 2020)
darksnowman replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Got this email from Nintendo. -
Will spoiler if you think it is sensitive info but to me it reads like a generic SMT premise so...!

Apparently, some info on Shin Megami Tensei V leaked via the official Japanese website last week with the release date of November 11th 2021 being listed. Here is an excerpt: https://personacentral.com/shin-megami-tensei-v-release-date-details-leak/ Fingers crossed we will find out more from the E3 Direct.

And Nintendo wouldn't be one for bucking trends would they.

Thanks to the Switch remaster I am currently putting one right: Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne. For the longest time, I thought of Sonic 3 as "the greatest game I hadn't played" but that got set to rights through the Wii VC and it wasn't so great after all. Killer soundtrack. On my version anyway.

Hard to keep up to date with that particular rumour mill but I think the latest conspiracy has it that the recent Switch update (botched then unbotched) comes with some kind of deeply embedded coding that will speed up the planned obsolescence of current Switch models, ensuring a swift uptake of the "Pro" when it hits retail.

To break things up before @Vileplume2000 scores an uncoveted (?) quadruple post, some books that I had recommended to me in recent months that I followed through and read are The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell, The House on the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune, The Institue by Stephen King and of course the Ask Iwata book. All worth a read if you ever come to the end of your reading list. -
Yeah, I guess if there aren't any bustling threads and you don't think the games warrant it, this will have to do. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was just looking at this DC Super Hero Girls game yesterday wondering if there could be anything to it but I guess not.
