  1. Well maybe if you're online later I could come pick a few lilies (or you could drop some over) if it isn't any hassle. Aye, you couldn't watch that BowserBasher. He's into everything as soon as he's offscreen! For someone from Kyoshi you're a right trickster.
  2. That's really kind of you but I'm fairly certain I have lily seeds in storage. I just need to find a plot to get them in as my island is overrun by mums and the like as you know. (Pretty sure you could plant some if you wanted, as @BowserBasher put in some golden roses... that I am still waiting to start multiplying...)
  3. Does it count if it comes via Microsoft Gamespass?
  4. Bring back Streetpass and all that malarkey!
  5. *uses Phoenix Breath on thread* I added Ni No Kuni to my Switch collection the other year but didn't have time to properly get into it as I was juggling a few games at the time like Breath of the Wild, Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Pokémon Shield as far as I remember. In the last week or so I've been giving it some attention and made a decent amount of progress, picking up from leaving the opening area of Ding Dong Dell until just getting the travel spell. The travel spell is something I would have appreciated having sooner, and in fact, since it hadn't come, I just figured there was going to be no fast travel in this game--especially since for a while, I thought those manholes by restore points would be used for fast travel but they ended up being pick up and drop off points for familiars. Really glad to have the travel spell now as it means quests can be done much quicker rather than traipsing back and forth between areas as I had been doing. It feels like the game is opening up to me now. Something I think would be useful (maybe it becomes available later) is tents/ cabins/ cottages to heal up when you're out and about on the overworld map. The areas aren't big so you're never too far from a town and the Cat's Cradle Inn, but some encounters leave you in a bad way. This is supposed to be an easy game but I've had more than my fair share of game overs as it doesn't pull any punches when you pitch up in a new area or reach a boss. I've died to every boss so far, checked online if there's a strategy I don't know about, only to see I'm usually about ten levels above the recommended and yet still toiling away! So it seems that MP restore items are the most valuable thing as burning through all my MP only takes off about a quarter of bosses health bars. Rough! This is a really well put together game, though. Towns are all unique and the dialogue is brimming with personality, and, imo, they went above and beyond with the Wizard's Compendium. I just wish the locket was bottomless like the bottomless bag so you could store more than one emotion fragment at a time as it's not easy to remember where to go back to take heart to get a refill. It's good that the mini-map highlights people that are relevant to sidequests. When playing, my mind can't help but wander back to the likes of Dragon Quest VIII, IX and Fantasy Life when Level-5 seemed like they were coming into their own as a force in the RPG realm.
  6. @Sméagol / Tom Cruise, I received the DIY in the post. Thanks again! Now to plant some lilies...
  7. Popped in to enquire about SMT III: Nocturne HD Remaster at the weekend (already saw online that it wasn't in stock but thought I'd check anyway since I was nearby) and the assistant got in a pre-emptive strike by asking me if I was after Miitopia, so that could indicate that everyone and their mum is buying Miitopia at the moment? Or perhaps I just look like the Miitopia type. So, own up, who's playing Miitopia and keeping it quiet, then?? Worth getting if you've already got it on 3DS?
  8. Wasn't aware of that, either @Aneres11 Maybe you have SNES games or something like that that won't transfer back to the weaker machine?
  9. Yes, please! Thanks a lot for hoking it out as I still haven't come across it in the daily bottle. I still have plenty of plans for my island and that figures amongst them (if it's nice). I can co-ordinate with you today/ this evening, or pretty much any day. Just let me know how you're fixed.
  10. Ah no worries. Just loading it now. Was stuck in a boss battle.
  11. Will jump on soon! Just let me get to a saveable point in Ni No Kuni.
  12. Nice find. Not often Nintendo makes a gaff like this, is it? I just grabbed the "Purchase Bonus" and it says purchased on the expansion pass. Will report back if I ever get the game! @Mr-Paul it says on the link this can be claimed via the Get Deal button if you want to try!
  13. Sorry, it was all I had to contribute as I have had enough rumours and speculation to do me. Will ethernet speed up the take-off and landing procedures in Animal Crossing? I'm sure it will be negligible but I can only hope!
  14. I only got the first one in a sale there in the run-up to Halloween, but I just want to know there are more on the way since we've had a quiet spell since Order of Ecclesia.
  15. Need a new 2D sprite-based one too, please!
  16. All righty, let's try to co-ordinate later. Server is the big item in the shop today. Can't remember the other items but bring a few grand of bells just in case you see something you like.
  17. Yeah, pretty sure Aounuma demonstrated that. At least simulating slashes with the stick was shown a month or three ago, anyway. But if you want to mix and match would that not mean allowing those with Switch Lites to flaff them around like Wii motion+ powered remotes?
  18. Jolly Redd is here: mystic statue - real serene painting - fake scary painting - fake Will gladly open if there's interest!
  19. Looks cool but the least you could do is give it a proper try!
  20. Body Harvest to kick off N64 games app with the Switch online subscription?
