  1. My chick has a cosita for me. I'll be getting it later. I've only got her a card and chocolates. We were to be going out for grub, but she's been unwell this week so we arent. Instead we're gonna oven a couple of quiesh (actually, how do you spell that?!) and play some Wii. Oh yes, you heard that right. Should be a good laugh though, I hope shes been practising, but I doubt she has if she's ill. The poor wee pet.
  2. Haha, I too came in expecting to hear some shocking story and then to reply with some words of advice but was pleasantly suprised. Its a funny tale of love and woe, see if my Wii thought she was getting away I'd put up more of a fight though. I've not got finished with Zelda nor Red Steel and if she thought she could take that away from me, there'd be bother. By the way, GentleBen, is your name a cover for Eddie?
  3. Metroids are the silly jellyfish baddies in... the Metroid games. Theyre some sort of alien species. Samus seems to find herself pitted against these levitating annoyances as she scours the universe in search of Bounty. My choice is the King o' Swing himself: DK!
  4. Ha, but Wii is for kids. And of course teenagers, adults and even older people. Capcom will come around, if Wii sales keep up the pace (regardless if whether its toddlers that are buying them all,) Capcom will have to run the risk of releasing some blood and guts on the off chance they can make a few sales.
  5. Groovy, good publicity for whatever console it is... though it will be a Wii. If we're talking films then yes, why did it take so long to include Eternal Sunshine? I think its a great film too! As is the Truman Show.
  6. Mokong, looks like we were the only ones that got drawn into this. Its was definitely worth the three week ride, wasnt it? You're right, we didnt find out for sure where all the objects came from - we were just presented with what theories all the characters had come up with. They could have come from anywhere. I dont believe the way they say they're part of God and all, but it would be interesting to see what happened if they got all the items together and in room ten. Interestingly, do you think thats the only way to maybe rid the world of them? The objects seem to be a scourge to whoever has them. Except, when one is destroyed another is created somewhere. Its an interesting thing they have going on, one full series would be pretty good just to give us a fuller feel for everything and maybe see the objects get a true ending. More than one series might just be stretching it too much... unless they would have more plotlines to introduce...
  7. So the Wii is beatable, atleast thats something for those who believe themselves to be the competitors to take heart from.
  8. This would be pretty class, and I might even get it. Everything depends on how they make it play? It could be difficult to add 3D stick nunchuck movement to it and any other button presses, we're used to only bobbin and weavin in Wii Sports: Boxing. Would Rocky be a character in it?
  9. Wii isnt all about graphics but its still disappointing that its barely meeting GameCube standards. Still, things will progress and, anyway, if the developers make good fun use of the controls then we'll forget about the graphics anyway. It'd be good to see Factor 5 on the Wii. Why would we say otherwise? It would also be great to see Rare on it and back to their Snes and N64 days of harmony with Nintendo.
  10. Urgh yeah tell me about it, forum growth is so not the way to go. Downsize downsize downsize.
  11. I just watched the conclusion of this. I definitely think they left the door open (heheh) for a series. It was worth the three extended episode for sure, and there are things that can further be developed and others that havent yet been resolved. I mean, if it was finished then surely they would have told us what happened to Rube (or whatever) the prophet. And Joe is now one of the objects? We needa see his new adventures and how he gets his criminal charges cleared up. Anyone else see it...?
  12. Thanks for the tips. I'm yet to venture in the fishing hole yet - might try that out next, there's no rush to getting that final mirror piece and ending the game, now is there? I think did Agatha say that the bugs can be found near each other? Even so, I've only got one of some of them. Poe wise, I must have about thirty - I just catch em if I come across them like. However, I have got some from the levels you mentioned as well as ledges and holes around Hyrule. Its too big though! I've about 15 hearts at the min, which in my opinion isnt bad going. I've never got all twenty before - or have I? Maybe I did, is it Ocarina or Majora where if you get them all that you get even stronger? Or was that just through one of the Great Fairies? I just cant mind!
  13. Twilight, any tips for collecting everything in it? (I take it you didnt use a  guide or anything?)
  14. I went for Wii Sports: Bowling. I've got the most play out of it but that still doesnt mean I dont like the rest of them, just so far bowlings been edging it and is mainly what I play it for in two player.
  15. Well, I'm up to having three quarters of the mirror now and I'm still loving the game... and still getting to know my way around Hyrule Field. The level I just did was really good, I'd spent time using the fortune teller to give me love readings, and so I'd got a few extra hearts added to the roster. Controlling the statues and all was good fun, and like every level so far, there have been puzzles that seem like dead ends... yet a moments inspiration is all it takes - and you feel like a prat for not doing it straight away. I wish I could get hints about where to find Poes and bugs, like I can with the heart pieces. Maybe fish too, but I've not gone after them yet so maybe they arent too bad to catch. Haha and playing hide and seek with the cats was cool too. Funny the way it was introduced like the village section was - "There are 30... no 20 cats... " I appreciated that.
  16. Plenty of backing here for the Game branded memory cards. I got one with my GameCube and it was fine and dandy for a good while, but has been known to corrupt itself up. I got Official ones from then on (plus one purple one, cos I needed more space) and the Game one now has only trivial things saved on it. Sometimes it would say it was corrupted up the wazoo, then after turning off the Cube and trying again, everything was stil intact. Official ones are probably the way to go, I've had not one bit of bother with em.
  17. Last Wednesday I went to watch this on TV, I actually thought it was some film but as it turned out, its a three part thing. The jist of it is that there are all these items in the world, just every day type things, and they have these powers. Like a comb that can freeze time, for example. Basically this police man, Joe, obtains the key. A motel key that opens any door with a lock into this motel room, then you can exit it to anywhere you want. His daughter went in the room, but some bad guy closed the door on it before Joe could get in (with the key in hand) and consequently, she's gone. Where? No one knows that and the rest of it is this guy Joe running everywhere, meeting dodgy characters with other items and trying to find some way to get his girl back. I thought it was a three part thing, concluding next week, but I could be wrong...? Cos in the TV mag for February, it makes it sounds like it concludes with a sixth episode? Whereas on TV it says next week is the finale - dilemma!
  18. Does no one just sit back with a lovely colour o' tey and stare at the ceiling? Thats my method anyway.
  19. You got some great games in that deal! Congratulations on getting Pop n Twinbee - its good fun in two player as well. As for what other shooters to get, listen to Zechs and get Cybernator - tis top notch as well. (I hope your tracking down Starwing, too?)
  20. I've a translation to do, English to French - "Immigration Energises our Economy." Sounds like fun doesnt it? I've read through it and it seems like there are gonna be two awkward parts: - Britain, a soft touch? Hardly. - The word underinvestment. Any groovy ideas would be appreciated.
  21. Cool? I think mine (and Twilight's) is the day after Will Smith's! How amazing is that?! (unless someone told was telling wee lies about Will.)
  22. How can a perfect being be sinful? I see no contradiction, maybe I didnt describe the situation well enough though. If you want/ need, I can find some solid info and quotes for you?
  23. Wednesday. I've always thought it sounds like Wedding Day/ Weddings Day or something like that.
  24. Dude, we would'nt be separate from God if Adam and Eve hadnt ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil when they were tempted in the garden. As soon as sin came in, God had to remove himself from us. He's a perfect being and can't have sin in his presence. Before the fall of man (when they ate the fruit) God would come to Adam and Even in the cool of the evenings and walk and talk with them in the garden. It was perfect. THE ganondorf, what are you're beliefs exactly? I'm interested to know, as you called yourself a Christian.
  25. Precisely! I watched the third and I'm now up to date with your reviews. (Do more of the Rabbids, come on!)
