  1. Of course I'm bitter Twilight! Would you not be if Liverpool came to Old Trafford and sat back and sat back then just stole it from you at the end? You probably wouldnt be too chuffed. So what do you think then? ... United for the championship eh?
  2. Gizmo, R-Type games are really good shooters, I'll vouch for that. Did anyone get Vermillion? Or know anything about it? I've read a few things, but still dont seem to know much!
  3. Aye, an absolute disgrace. Defend the whole second half then grab a late winner. Typical Man U when they were at their winning trophies caper. Argh.
  4. Vermillion all the way to the Virtual Consoling banque!
  5. DKC 3 is on the VC? I'm away to get it!
  6. Stealth modes it in and steals through to the link aswell...
  7. I cant believe that Mario is losing to Smash Brothers. I mean, who votes in these polls anyway?
  8. Haha thats funny... but I too was perplexed back in the day (albeit briefly) at who Soton was meant to be. With my Snes I got Fifa International Soccer and a Super GameBoy. I know nothing about Fifa 96 but isnt it either that one or the 97 version thats meant to be the best? Its all trivial anyway, cos word has it that ISS Pro Deluxe was the hottest footy game on the Snes. I have it, but unfortunately got it when the N64 and ISS 64 was on the go so I couldnt properly appreciate the 16-bit one.
  9. Sounds pretty groovy... one of the first things I thought was the graphics look pretty nice, then I scroll down and read the comments slating how it looks. I must be way behind the times! The game sounds good as well, if these guys can deliver on what big ideas they have for the game then it should be great.
  10. Edd the Duck was great! Ahh the broom cupboard days were decent old after school afternoons, werent they. I was half expecting you to have the same name as me, brother.
  11. Steven/ Steve/ Stevo/ Stevie depending on who you are. :p
  12. Well said. Its got us talking and got us excited, sure thats something good right? Like people are saying already, this is only the guys blog, its not official (though he'd tell us everything if he could) he's leaking little bits and pieces to us the best he can without losing his job! Demo channel sounds good, lets hope its made good use of. A decent try before you buy system would be class.
  13. Speculations fun. I know Matt has plenty of followers and plenty of haters, I reckon that what he said is fairly true. Why shouldnt we believe him? Ok, sometimes I fell its hard to believe that he's best friends with like every developer in the world, but no matter how much we might want to dispute it, the man does know his stuff. Its a pity he couldnt reveal any specifics, but arent game details kept under wraps as it is? Its hardly suprising that he would have to keep quiet about anything he may or might not see until the time is right to reveal the goods. I wonder what he knows?
  14. Yeah, people have funny ideas about what everythings all about dont they. Sorry that I cant give you a quote of chapter and verse here, but I'm pretty confident the Bible says that life on earth is all there is. So something like that would be a cataclysmic discovery not just for science, but religion also. Fair enough, if you say that the vatican has accepted evolution. But I'm not a Roman Catholic, and in fact, I dont really know many (... any... ) who believe in evolution anyway. You're right that what people believe is determined by what sort of mindset they're brought up into. However, you can learn about anything (especially through the web) and so you can decide what you want to. Tailor made religions are plentiful, people just want to believe what seems to suit them and their lifestyle.
  15. Funny you should say that, if there ever was any hard proof that came to light that creation as told in the Bible wasnt true then yeah, I'd have to rethink plenty wouldnt I? Or if anything for that matter was 100% disproved somehow. If for example alien life was discovered then Christianity would be in tatters, would it not? Its interesting to imagine, but seeing as I'm a chap of faith, I just have to be strong in that. You know?
  16. Im not sure I've time to go through the multitude of links thats on that site, but tell me this, am I here trying to change what you believe? Hey if I could convert you or anyone it would be amazing, but this is an internet forum, not a meeting of us jovially around a table somewhere. So seeing as I'm not going to change what you think is true, does that mean it is? Right, here are a few of the 'facts': at the nexus of time and space, at the centre of everything stands a Tower, its the lynchpin for all worlds and universes. When we die, its merely a doorway to another world which could be completely different from this one, or extremely similar, with merely subtle differences. Maybe in one GB uses the Euro. If I was in here telling you that this was how everything is, would you believe me? Say I was convinced this was true, and just because I say its how everything goes down, does that automatically mean its true whether you like it or not?
  17. Twoulda been funnier if you'd said it was like taking that post in the Wii Discussion from Matt Cassamassina as fact. Anyhow, I apologise for having a source and having read anything apart from science. Ooh, I like Sci-fi so can we theorise about The Dark Tower being true?
  18. Magic, in the top ten bit on Answers in Genesis, dinosaurs is at number two. I clicked on it and lo and behold... what I have in physical old fashioned paper form right in front of me. http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs/2.asp Have a read if you have the time, we await your outraged cries of disbelief.
  19. Haha Bluestar, I just googled they guy who's stuff I'm reading, Ken Ham... and it gave me answesingenesis.org! Nice spot! Maybe I'll unleash some copy and pasting upon you now, or atleast links to it to back up any of my wild and crazy creation ideas.
  20. Grunchie, yeah I know about that carbon caper. I'm just relaying you the info of how creation works. (By the way twasnt a copy and paste, sorry for the confusion... but I've a wee booklet right here and I typed the whole couple of paragraphs just for you!)
  21. I'm not Jonwah in disguise, but here I'll do a lengthy transcription for you nonetheless: "According to evolutionists, the dinosaurs 'ruled the earth' for 140 million years, dying out about 65 million years ago. However, scientists do not dig up anything labelled with those ages. They only uncover dead dinosaurs (ie their bones, and their bones do not have labels attached telling how old they are. The idea of millions of years of evolution is just the evolutionists' story about the past. No scientis was there to see the dinosaurs live through thus supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die. Scientists only find the bones in the here and now, because many of them are evolutionists, they try to fit the story of the dinosaurs into their view." and... "Although the Bible does not tell us exactly how long ago it was that God made the world and its creatures, we can make a good estimate of the date of creation by reading through the Bible and noting some interesting passages: 1) God made everything in six days. He did this by the way, to set a pattern for mankind, which has become our seven day week (as described in Exodus 20: 11). God worked for six days and rested for one, a model for us. Furthermore, Bible scholars will tell you that the Hebrew word for day used in Genesis chapter one, can only mean an ordinary day in this context. 2) We are told God created the first man and woman - Adam and Eve - on Day Six. Many facts about when their children and their children's children were born are given in Genesis. These genealogies are recorded throughout the Old Testament, up until the time of Christ. They certainly were not chronologies lasting millions of years. As you add up all the dates, and accepting that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth almost 2000 years ago, we come to the conclusion that the creation of the earth and animals (including the dinosaurs) occurred only thousands of years ago (perhaps only six thousand years!), not millions of years." Phew, now, pick it to shreds old chums!
  22. Yeah, just cos you don't have all the answers doesnt mean that creation by God, isnt true. Darwins the guy that evolutions attributed to isnt he? I've heard many a time that even he has said that it isnt true. Or maybe its the Big Bang. Either way, nothings proven. I much prefer to believe that the world and universe was created by the words of God, everything we see on earth and every star we see at night, meticulously placed and set spinning by Him. Its incredible. I've watched many a program on the Big Bang, Evolution etc and I still believe that Genesis is the truth.
  23. You know what one of the worst things about these types of threads are? People here who otherwise seem cool and have some good gaming views turn out to be annoyances and a bit... strange. Creation and God and faith all the way. Here come the quotes! Genesis 1: 1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 2: 2 - By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
  24. Yeah, I spied this last weekend. It sounds good and lets hope that theres plenty of fun facts and stuff to be learned through it.
  25. Ah that Mario and Yoshi game, I think Ive played it on one of the GameBoy Game and Watch Collections or something, I know it from somewhere now that I see the screenshot. As for downloading, I've seen Mario running and jumping and him running and shooting fireballs. Its cool that there are even more!
