  1. Defeated two bosses for the first time on a Dark Note and didn't get a single shard! Don't lift the stylus off the touch screen when you are swiping.
  2. @Hero\-of\-Time @david\.dakota @\-Dem0\- @Mokong X\-C @mr\-paul @Jamba @D_prOdigy If you got two (or more?!) Swapnotes from me that are the same - a doodle with soundbite - could you reply to the most recent one? I didn't think it had sent so resent one with added arrow and deleted the previous draft. I didn't think even the second one had sent but / nando / says he got the first one, so that probably means you will all get two. If you do reply to the first one, I'll get your response via / nando / anyway. Kind Regards, darksnowman
  3. Bargain... So what you're saying is you COULD have saved me a fiver if you'd bothered to tell me. On the bright side, I can't remember what Play are like but sure Amazon are rubbish with getting pre-orders out on time, aren't they.
  4. So who has KH 3D pre-ordered and from where? Its been £29.86 on Shopto for a while but seeing as I got Theatrhythm for like ~£22, is there anywhere selling KH 3D for sub £25? Is it likely to drop on Shopto between now and release...? @welsh_gamer, your mission, should you choose to accept it...
  5. I'm currently saved inside the pyramid and taking a breather. Really not a fan of that area - I even had bother timing my killing of the guardian gargoyles at the entrance! Doesn't help that after me talking up my invincible Lenna, this is the segment where she is out of the party! I grabbed the Chicken Knife before heading in so I'm just trying to sprint through without worrying about looting the place at all. I won't be going after all the legendary weapons, as I'm sure you will, so as I'm off work now til Monday I might manage to finish this over the weekend too, if I can get the time in - though I've probably just jinxed myself. It all depends on if Lenna can carry us through the Void and then I'm just gonna one-shot Exdeath with my Chemist and be done with it!
  6. Just fired my Wii up for the first time since April 7th. Ha, Murray.
  7. Hmm, any idea why? I might have to read up on it and see. I don't want it to start failing me at a critical moment. I don't remember using it before when I played FF V, so there must be something dodgy with it and I've just got lucky this time with some combination of equipment/ job/ stats. Persona is a series I would love to get into. I've only played the first hour or two of Persona 3, which I had the opportunity to do a couple of summers ago and liked what I saw. It was slow, but it was intriguing. What puts me off is the length of those games and the fact that, despite having a PStwo, I would just like to have those games ported to the 3DS now. :p
  8. I got another Dark Note with Seymours tune and holy crap
  9. I think I got it for a fiver (or maybe £7 or £9 at the most). According to the 3DS I think I played it for ~7h so £1/hour is decent value! When Beat the Beat is that cheap give me a nudge.
  10. By the way, H-o-T, meant to ask what your beef is with the Blood Sword? I've got it equipped on Lenna (Knight) and she never misses anything! She knows !Rapid Fire from having previously trained as a Ranger and is an invincible killing machine for me. A few battles now (the crystals and Exdeath) she has been the sole victor because she can self heal with the Blood Sword. I'm not sure of the maths behind why its working for me but I'm glad it is - if it wasn't then I might have to level 10-15 levels.
  11. Ha, I can relate to that. I thought Donkey Konga would be good too but it was completely meh. I couldn't get into it at all! Elite Beat Agents is highly regarded, have you tried it? I played a good bit of it and can vouch for it being compatible with rhythmless folk like us. That Rhythm Whadjamacallitgoku that RedShell goes on (and on and on and on) about isn't too bad on the DS either but Theatrhythm is on a whole new level. :awesome: Its FF music, its party members, its equipping abilities, getting boss drops, getting new "maps"... its a tappy, slidey, musical RPG! Know how you haven't bought Theatrhythm yet? Yeah, well, that means you don't yet know what the definitive rhythm game is. I haven't been power levelling, just playing the game. I just played a few more tracks and my Onion Knight (leader) has hit lvl 99. I took note of what sort of experience I was getting and it was in the 1,400-2,600 range each time, so I've been finding there's always some member of my party gaining a level after every song. I checked what I've equipped and I haven't used any of my Exp Scrolls to teach anyone that ability yet, so its not like I'm availing of that yet. I just figured the game was made this way to make you feel good and want to play more. The Seymour track has popped up on a couple of my Dark Notes and I've been finding it a bit of a stickler. Not complaining as unlike other rhythm games, I really am enjoying the challenge in this one when it crops up. My favourite Dark Note is one that has Defiers of Fate (FF XIII) as the second track. I have another one with a quite challenging version of Battle on the Big Bridge (FF V) which is fun to try to master - this game has given me an all new appreciation for that tune.
  12. My lead character is lvl 90 and the other three are lagging behind at lvl 84. The records say I have spent 12h56 on it. Feels like I've barely started. Speaking of shards, is there any way to view your progress with them? Hopefully it lives up to the hype we've created...! : peace:
  13. You numpty. That really is a great track isn't it! I've listened to it a couple of times now and can't help but smile. The tracks that come on the cart are topnotch nonetheless, so stop whinging and just get the game already. I normally suck big time at rhythm games but I'm kicking this ones ass. It helps massively that its a nostalgia overload meaning theres no rage quitting, I can't get enough of it at the minute. I like the way it switches between instruments mid-song. Means you can't zone out. I totally agree with Dancing Mad. That track always gets SO much praise but its nothing special at all, imo. Same goes for that FF VII track that everyone raves about, One Winged Angel. Just urgh. My party are approaching lvl 99 now. Soon be time to switch them out for some other characters! Its too soon for DLC. I haven't got the most out of the on cart content yet! @Grazza are you getting this? There's a feature called Dark Notes which are like the post game grottoes in DQ IX. You'd love it. You beat one to get another, theres bosses and item drops, its all here.
  14. That is his appeal. He's disillusioned, over confident and ultimately a mere pawn to Exdeath. Love it when these companies have little jabs at each other.
  15. I use it any time I can. d-pad forever!
  16. Downloaded the FF XIII OST off the back of the tracks featured in Theatrhythm and how great is this!

  17. Should have got it on the VC! Cheapo.
  18. (So I should be safe to post now H-o-T's post c-c-c-c-combo has been well and truly broken!)
  19. I was wondering if those FMVs were converted to 3D as well. I had a good squint at the FF XIII one and it does seem like there's some depth going on there - its a nice illusion. To add to my previous comment, I'd take 3DS ports of FF X-XIII too now. VII-IX not so much. They should stick FF XI on 3DS with full online...and I'm not joking. Well, I've went and downloaded the FF XIII OST. Theatrhythm has made me want to get stuck in and play/replay the entire series. This game.
  20. Just took on my first ultimate tune. It was none other than... Defiers of Fate (FF XIII) which I obviously failed - with a C rank - first time but have got myself up to a B since. I'm yet to play FF XIII but I'm loving all three tunes from it that're in this, especially Defiers of Fate with the FMV mayhem that goes on behind it all. I opened up an Encore section too with Dancing Mad (FF VI) in it. Not sure how or when I got that but its good to see there are unlockable tunes, as I thought the add-on content might be the only way to expand the track list.
  21. Tifa's Theme is a great tune. The rendition on the FF VII Piano Collection is chillingly good.
  22. The credits just rolled but theres bucketloads still left to play, unlock and enjoy in this game. I've barely scraped the surface!
  23. Wait, so you aren't currently planning on getting Theatrhythm?! You'd love this game, seriously! Lol, really? I thought I'd only buy the 2D FF tunes but over time I might have to complete the collection. Hopefully there will be Theatrhythm eShop promotions in future.
