  1. I met Phil on Friday for the first time; I think I freaked him out because a) I knew his surname and b) I was wearing a school uniform at work, for no apparent reason.
  2. Lovely weekend; fun, frolics and alot of exercise. I also just dyed my hair darker brown, it possibly looks a bit gothic but I am loving. Oh, my brother and dad went on a hot air balloon flight without me (they booked it ages ago and I couldn't afford it then) I was kind of gutted, but I'll do it one day!
  3. People saying he's an entertainer; I don't find his stunts or him entertaining. No pretty ladies in leopard skin leotards get put in a box then chopped in half, for a start. Don't tell Oxigen, but I think entertainment is subjective.
  4. I didn't watch it but I didn't need to, I already know he's a smug pratt.
  5. Grats you two lovelies.
  6. Hahaha, I do. I really do :D

  7. Not sure why we're fighting, but I look forward to it. ------ Don't make me sound like a fair-weather fan because it's false, I tell you.
  8. I'll see you there. Well, possibly. You'll be one face in a thousand. Plus I may not get tickets.
  9. Had my interview, it was ok. There are 5 roles and loads of people so we'll see. At one point I said ''£50 Billion'' instead of ''£50 Million'', ha.
  10. Oh come on Ashley. If you didn't happen to be an admin who knows all the details, you'd also be intrigued.

I'm falling like a comet from the broken sky.

  14. I think we should have a knee meet just for people who adore Invincible.
  15. I can see it now. The next Fred Astaire. Good luck Pashmina, sure it'll all be dandy.

Heh, it's always had a border! You're either being special or not terribly observant. :heh:

I'm glad you like it though. :)

  17. I'd just throw myself at him and hope he forgets what he said. Heh, it's a toughie. If they say ''I love you'' and you say ''Thank you'', it's not gonna go well. Once in the past I said ''I'm falling for you too'', that worked well, until we broke up. I don't have any coherent words of wisdom, I've been single for ages.
  18. My wii fit age is 25 apparently, 2 years older than I actually am. I thought that was bad until my brother (who is 25) got an age of 34, heh.
  19. It's on Spotify, have a listen on there. Heh, will do. The man is prolific, just looked and Rain Dogs is 7 albums away.
  20. Thought I'd give Tom Waits a try, so I started at the beginning and listened to Closing Time earlier. Clearly an accomplished debut album but it feels dated. Filled with emotion throughout, although sometimes I feel like he's poking fun with the clichés in his lyrics, maybe just me. I loved Martha, I also chuckled when he followed it with a song about Rosie. I hope that I don't fall in love with you is a simple narrative in a song, but beautiful and really lovely to listen to. Not a life changing album, but I'm assured he gets much better.
  21. The intro reminded me of The Day Today, you know when they show their logo graphics thingy and it just goes on and on for no apparent reason. Made me laugh anyway, so jolly good. But also, this.
  22. Saw District 9/13 last night, I was left a bit shell shocked but it was actually rather good. Today has also been good so far. Had a consultation for laser hair removal, quite exciting. Then to the hairdressers, got 6 inches cut off and my hair's still long; obviously a hippy before the cut. After that I bought a new outfit for an interview on Tuesday. The job is still at the bank *blurgh* but hopefully better, in that it's more money and not in the call centre. I'd be in a different building to ReZ, which is a shame. Blessed be the day the whole place closes forcing me to get a job I actually want, not that I haven't tried, but still. Anyhoo, came home and tried Wii Fit for the first time, I don't like how annoyingly nice and ''motivational'' they are, but it was fun.
  23. Made me chuckle. Hirst doesn't care about the pencils, he's just massaging his ego.
  24. I don't know if you're talking to me but I meant it kills because of heart disease and diabetes; I'm saying this as someone who is overweight by the way. I'm not making an ''argument'' about being ugly, people are entitled to their opinions. I think I'm ugly, that's my opinion. Most people trying to lose weight are not just doing it for health reasons, they want to look better too. It's difficult, I'm doing a very low calorie diet at the moment and it takes some getting used to, but it's the ''keeping it off'' that's even tougher.
  25. As Raining astutely pointed out, it's a health and safety issue rather than discrimination. Exactly right. Being fat or eating excessively is ugly and it kills. Just like excessive smoking, drinking and drug abuse. There's no ''easy'' fix though, quitting any of the above vices takes a mental shift.
