  1. 1) Add some background music to the intro. Also, maybe narrate it? 2) Good idea, but the phone speaker is quite harsh. Might be just my laptop, but it's making my ears hurt. Maybe record the audio separately from further away or something? Or if you're willing to sacrifice the "phone sound", record it normally and not through a phone.
  2. Christian's getting a shot at the WHC? When / how did that happen?
  3. Well like it or not, religions have bad effects, but also good ones. Like Iun said, people are not robots driven by cold, hard logic, but emotional, feeling creatures. The problem of atheism is that at this point in the history of mankind and science, we still cannot explain what the fuck this whole "life" thing is about. Is there a bigger picture, a meaning to life, does something happen after death, no answers. Also, atheism has no principles, and it's very disjointed as a group, a sort of anti-ideology in a way. Thus is it a surprise that some people are very reluctant to join, since it's basically just a negation of everything, a bunch of nothing. "Yes, there's no proof of anything, just uncertainty and constant depression in the abyss of the pitch black universe. Have a nice life." The only value of atheism is thus about freedom, being free of religions and ideologies distorting your view, but that's it. For many people, that's not enough. Compare to religions, which get in touch with the emotional side of people. There are mythical stories, codes of conduct, levels of spiritual attainment, visions of hellish torture and heavenly pleasure etc. This is very good marketing, and touches, moves people. It makes them feel like they're progressing in life, aspiring to higher things, bettering themselves and so on. These groups also have a very exclusive nature, they're like members-only clubs where people get to know other people and exchange their ideas. This in turn then feeds the social needs of people. So it's not all negative, even if some of the basic premises are scientifically wrong. Bottom line: There's a reason why religions and ideologies have and will persist in the world. They cater to people's social and emotional needs in a way that atheism can not do. In a way, this is pretty ironic, since the only reason why atheism does not do that is because it refuses turning into a full-fledged ideology with any kind of "code" set in stone. The only exception to this is the Atheism+ movement, which tries incorporating feminism and other "social justice" issues into it, and has already failed miserably due to constant ridiculing and censorship of those who do not agree with its tenets. Thus basically, it has turned into a religion itself. Overall, it seems to be kind of an either or -situation, really. Objective "truth" with freedom but no meaning, or possibly false truth with meaning but reduced freedom. 0 or 1, your choice.
  4. That doesn't make it legal. Same as if you own a music album, and then post the tracks on youtube for others to listen. It's illegal, because you don't have the right to copy / distribute the work for others (not your copyright) and it's cutting directly into the revenue of the original copyright holder.
  5. I really don't care for fruit these days, too sugary crap. Yes I do eat popsicles and sweets every now and then, but I've also found out that the protein products work pretty well for a sweet tooth as they have a little sweetness in them, but not too much. Not that I'm counting my calories anyway, I actually have room for bulking up. Also, careful with the vitamins. They might not be as beneficial as people think:
  6. Got a system for my dumbbell training now, 3 exercises done this week. It's actually pretty nice, pumping those weights feels great plus there's no hurry when the next day is always a rest day. I've also been buying some protein stuff, quite a few lactose-free products out there and they also taste good. Overall: Very nice, I could get into this shit...
  7. No chance here tonight, it's raining like hell.
  8. "Perse" = "ass" in Finnish. #carryon
  9. It does look interesting, but Saints Row 4 is coming out on August 23rd as well. Plus I still haven't even bought Pikmin 3 yet...
  10. Agree with you guys, I want this on the Wii U. The in-game graphics look a bit crappy plus it's just an awkward game to play on the 3DS.
  11. Well, it doesn't really matter if they release it late. Iwata's got that covered:
  12. I don't know how it's gonna function, but at least it's a new idea. Curious to see how it works out...
  13. It depends on the person really. The moustache is probably the hardest to pull off due to its connotations of evil child molesters, but some can still manage to make it look good. Personally, I feel like the optimal facial hair for moi is in fact the heavy stubble. With a clean shave I look like a teenage lesbian, and light stubble just looks patchy and stupid. Heavy stubble looks good yet also clean, but when it grows longer it starts getting messier and messier. A full-grown beard is like a curly bush, and the moustache just gets into my mouth if I don't trim it. Still, I have to agree that there's something pretty funny about having a bush of hair on your face (...), even if it might make eating a bit more difficult (......). Plus it's warmer in the winter.
  14. http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/when-does-summer-begin-anyway/51205 Yes, but who cares about the astronomical summer? It's the meteorological summer, i.e. temperature, that counts, and that summer is indeed June, July and August. #seasonsporn
  15. I didn't really have any problems at release, maybe a few bugs but nothing major.
  16. Maybe in North America, yes, but not in here or elsewhere: So screw NA, THIS! IS! EUROOOOOOOOOOPE! Although I'm pretty scared that by "summer" Nintendo really meant this:
  17. Ha, so that's the reality then. Jim's all huffy and puffy, while Eenuh's trashing his ass behind the scenes. You go girl.
