Started playing this yesterday and I'm absolutely terrible at it. I feel like using the crossbow is cheating so I try to refrain from using it, but I fuck up when using stealth all the time. Very annoying. Is there no way to do a falling non-lethal kill?

Reminds me of the PS2 start-up sequence, probably intentional. Best start-up: I would buy a PS4 at launch if it had a slightly altered version of that.

With Dead Island reportedly being crap, Techland is obviously having another attempt but changing the title due to a lack of brand loyalty. Or they have no ideas. We all remember how refreshing an idea Zombies was in Dead Island?

If I wasn't still paying rent for my room up in Manchester I'd be loaded right now. I'd be getting a PS4 without a doubt. To get one at launch I'd probably have to sell my new super-slim console and all my games. Definitely not going to do that, what with The Last of Us, Beyond, and a slew of PS+ stuff to look forward to. I am getting faint tingles for the PS4 though.

Edit: they've actually got two PS4 games in the pipeline apparently // Also - It's funny how often reviewers bring up the competitive nature of high scores in games and how we build rivalries with friends because of them. That doesn't happen. The only time I remember taking note of high scores was when we compared them on the forum for SS:HD, which was kinda fun for a bit. Nobody really cares though. Btw I was on Motorstorm Apocalypse the other day and after finishing one of the courses I noticed that I'd beaten everyone on the forum by a full 40 seconds, and it was my first attempt at it too. Imagine what I could've done with more practice. Just something to think about.

Shoot me if it doesn't turn out to be a game, I'm not sure how reliable that page is. You'd imagine it would be cross-play if it came to PS4, not to mention awesome.

When finally announced, you can expect the respective prices of the consoles to be compared and a value 'winner' declared, but broadly the media won't factor in the cost of Live subscriptions. Why shouldn't they be? Microsoft also pull the wool over your eyes when it comes to using a points system over a monetary one. They'll disrupt transparency by any means to rinse you of your cash. It's not surprising they have an 'unprecedented relationship' with EA, because they're a pair of contemptuous, contemptible cunts.

I think it's arrogance on Microsoft's part to be perfectly frank. Of course the service is popular and makes money, people want to play games online and there's no alternative if you're on the Xbox. The expense is expected purely because it's been a staple of the brand, which is all levels of wrong. I was close to understanding why Shorty wasn't bothered. Monthly valuations aren't arbitrary because most people get paid monthly (or even weekly) and £2 a month is nothing, right? Having said that, you don't pay for Live via direct debit in that manner. You pay £30 up front at the opportunity cost of a game. And you have to do that every year. So the cost is anything but negligible. You are being robbed. You should be pissed off with it on principle alone.
