I don't know why but I don't have any anitcipation for the game. I want to share the same excitement but I don't because... I have probably chosen the wrong word - but a bit generic? I don't know, I just look at the screens and they have quite dull colours.

Did the Xi maximum tilt thing, was pretty fun. Haven't really bothered trying to work the text stuff out, just getting it off Google cause I want to do the more interesting stuff. Minigame stuf was funny, not hard but pretty good Adventure place isn't working for me though.

Yeah join the clan and you'll see that I'm consistantly awesome, whilst the rest of the clan lag behind. You can join but just don't hope that I can take on a whole team on by myself :p

Get the impression the reviewer didn't want to like it, but maybe they have a point. Still, I'd only really buy this for the online (like I did with Killzone) so hopefully that side of it holds up well. And I thought this had gore?

Wow I was going to put a smiley face there but didn't deem it necessary. I've used the shotgun a lot and I get loads of kills for it but it does seem cheap, I don't use it myself because I know how annoying it is to get killed by it.

It should because spammers like you get tedious! Shotgun is almost too powerful and turrets are piss-annoying. Because they are effective.

That's the map I was using it on, still did Ok but I'd rather use a different gun. It's the fact you have to shoot people twice and if they are a moving target it isn't easy at all.

I've got interesting bets with the same person. I'm betting £5 that Gerrard won't be top-scorer (as from the mid-way point in the season when he was doing well) and that Newcastle will stay up, which was a kind of double or quits bet because it doesn't look like Stevie is going to do it. Geordies are looking doubtful though, but I am rooting for them.

The long range gun is only useful in certain games. Takes 2 shots to kill people and I don't think it is actually that accurate. It is the most satisfying gun to kill with though, along with magnum. Ok practised a little more with it and thought it was an average weapon. Best used without scope when you are kneeling down still, pin point accuracy without iron sights. I'd still rather a normal assault rifle though. New Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion screens at 1up.com

Excluding some games I'd put the order of shooters from most tactical to least tactical like this: Socom>Cod>KZ2>Resistance 2>Unreal

I got it yonks ago for £15 and that was only an average deal back then. The new pack has breathed new life into it. It's very fast-paced and you need to move constantly to avoid death. And yeah, the controls are spot-on.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it after the update but was let down after seeing them. They are pretty poor tbh. That's not why I'm playing this game anyway.

Haha I'm more of an action-whore than a tactical guy. In arcade shooters it's all about quick decisions and reflexes which I seem to do well at. I may get Cod 6 so you will have a chance to muller me then.

Yeah it's stupid. I sometimes believe I possess amazing skills. Me + shock rifle = doom. I love the nuke-type weapon that appears about two times per level. When you fire it it shakes the whole map and can kill loads of people.

I'll be there. Rediscovered Unreal Tournament though which is bloody mental and makes you feel god-like.

Yeah there's tonnes of stuff for it, download wise. People make different modes and changes to the formula. There's almost too much content. The new trophies they added are shite. One is called, No life, which you have to score 200 kills on 50 seperate days to get.

It's so fun. Just got into a game and killed 5 people in about 10 seconds. There's nothing quite like the adrenaline you experience when the voice-over shouts 'killing spree!'

Can't remember if anyone here had Unreal Tournament 3. I played it yesterday for a bit and remembered how brilliant it was. I stopped playing it when I did because of the lag problems, but then I saw there was a new free download pack for it which has tonnes of stuff. Amazing they'd make so much stuff for free, but I'm downloading it now. It's such fun arcade madness. I entered a deathmatch and came second but it was one of the most insane things Ive played in ages. It was 10 players each having the same one-hit kill weapon and I did really well, reactions and all that. Brilliant fun.

The train level sounds quite demanding - if it's open top like the one in single-player then that's hard to get running smoothly with 32 online players.
