Yeah because I've been playing this for just over a month, whereas R2 has been out since November and I'm still playing it.

No I have definetly played more R2. My stats have deleted a couple of times and I know it's probably double or more playtime which is pretty insane.

Nothing matches the comedy gold you get when playing forumers at worms with headsets (when they work). It is brilliant. Already got the £8 worth from it

I don't know how he would know that. Anyway, I'm not too concerned for a co-op mode. I'm not playing this as much as I did R2 but I'm not exactly sure why - I think it might be that there isn't a long enough ranking system or enough unlockables. The medals are good but there should be more equipment/weapons you can get after playing further (past/passed the top rank)

Hehe, you won't regret it. It is slightly different from the XB version and cooler basically. Don't worry if the start-up screen appears if it's not doing anything, also there is the occasional freeze when trying to connect to a game.

Yeah, it has pretty much everything you want from a Worms game. Except the parachute *facepalm*. It's only a minor thing but very useful, don't know why they didn't include it. This version I guess you could justify buying because: a) it has the quality weapons like the concrete donkey, holy hand grenade, super sheep and one other I forgot. b) the trophies c) you can play us online d) it has 1080p visuals which make it look great e) they improved the physics f) people are actually playing it online

Me and Cooky just had a game of Worms online. The game is brilliant, headsets are really clear and (understandably) no lag and everything is seamless. Everyone should get it here. 4 player battles will be great. It's pretty much the quality game of old, great memories, but they've freshened it up with vibrant visuals and included holy hand grenade for lols. I'd love to see the experts messing around with epic super sheep shots and ninja-rope swinging!

^ Ah nice I remember you Echo, when did you get your PS3? Remember King Boo lol? And the platinum is pretty easy so you should go for it. For the ID to update I think you have to log onto the PS website.

I loved TS, I thought the single player was hilarious and varied (TS2 moreso imo) and it was just immensely fun. I have great memories of doing to co-op campaign with a friend splitscreen as well as competing at the challenges - the game has tons of really cool weapons, the most I think I've seen. If you don't like arcadey shooters I can understand why you wouldn't like it, but for me it was fracking brilliant.

As for me just downloaded my first 2d worms game! Yay! I don't care if the version doesn't have all the bells and whistles, I just love the franchise so looking forward to digging in. R&C for £8 is good, as is Pain for £4. I would buy Tekken for that price but it is essentially a PS2 game and I am definetly buying Tekken 6.

I think more games should adopt the killcam feature. It's useful and you ensure that people can see your awesome skills. Optional of course, and if it is possible to save some moments then even better.

^ Yeah TS was awesome, although I only had it for PS2. GC multiplayer was great - Monkey Ball, Warioware, MK and Worms 3D all brilliant.

The Conduit will be good. OK well misinformed sources, but it still outsold everything by 50,000 units in Japan. Sony are still targeting profit. We're interested because it is a topic that actually matters whereas sales are pretty pointless in discussing. I came to see why people don't/do play there Wii much. -
I want to create stuff in it so badly but there's no way of skipping Stephen Fry and his unneccessarily long tutorials. Plus taking game saves and using them on your own console barely works because for some crappy reason Sony stops it.

Biased and wrong at the same time - Sony have been in profit with the PS3 for a fair while now, and it outsold the Wii in Japan last week. What's more is that sales shouldn't even matter to the consumer. -
No-one said that. I won't re-explain why but I think splitscreen FPS is a thing of the past. I remember good times playing my Dad at Golden Eye when I was younger but the experience pales in comparison to larger battles where you can't cheat and you can talk to who you want (if you like).

I'm just saying for FPS games it really isn't that great. Everything else then yes pretty much, and I agree online does not replace split-screen or general multiplayer at home.
