Yeah, obviously MS had the idea first (or implemented it first) (or implemented the best ideas first). But it's free on the PS3 which makes it even sweeter.

Online gaming is so good. First realised it could be entertaining on the DS with Hunters and MK, didn't think it was tht great on Wii. Having spent a vast majority of time online on the PS3 it is fair to say it is the biggest leap forward for a long time - moreso than the Wii controllers I think. Just the fact you can connect to people from across the world and play against them in a game whilst talking - It's brilliant, especially when you use teamwork or beat them at something. And it's all pretty much free! It's the make or break point with so many games now, with stuff like Socom based purely on online.

^ Well it doesn't really happen in R2. Skirmishes are great but there is only one primary target and they can be slected at any time even if they are just about to die. Is great fun protecting them, running away or purging them. I have a knack for eliminating.

But this is for people with post-traumatic stress. I can see what you're saying but if you had this problem then you'd want to have that pill.

Oh right that was maybe what confused me when I played the beta at someone's house - So one minute you're told to blow something up and the next you just have to kill anyone on the opposing team.

^ Yeah you just say to yourself that this is what you're going to do and at the end you realise that you haven't actually achieved anything or you have spent loads of time on it. It's the drawback of a game mainly focused on creating - you realise why professionals have to make these games.

Nearing 5000 comments here, yet the 360 thread has tonnes more. Why is that? It was released earlier, yes, but I'd thought it would be a bit more 'even' by now. Maybe there just happen to be more 360 owners here or maybe the 360 is actually a better console!

It's funny/sad to think how close so many creators may have come to creating something mindblowingly good, only to have it come unstuck with malfunctions or loss of data. I feel sorry for them, because even when I make something below par and it goes wrong, I still get frustrated.

Just got back from a party, was great fun. Made what was a fairly dull day a brilliant one.

You can see why it makes sense from a business point of view though. Although a lot must be paid by MS to get exclusive DLC for Xbox to make it worthwhile for the developer. It would have to be more money than what the developer could make on both consoles. Tis dumb.

I'd be more annoyed if they made exclusive download for Fall... Oh wait they did... Ah well at least it turned out to be pretty poor.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about but anyway - A few months back when my HDD was playing up (data corrupting/installs not working etc) when I loaded a game after the initial PS3 logo it took quite a while for a game to load up and get to the starting screen. After a short while of this my HDD had to be restored after other issues. The main lesson I learned was to not turn off the PS3 via the power switch on the back, but the LED one at the front because apparently what I was doing actually damages the HDD whereas turning it off at the front allows the PS3 to finish whatever it is doing.

Hmm weird because on the back of the MGS4 box it says 720p. When I tried it it didn't do 1080 so that list is probably wrong.

^ Unlucky that sort of thing happens to me. Haven't played it in ages though. Basically don't stick objects too often, bolt them instead.

Ah well to be fair Bendtners goal was very good. The others were defensive errors that were capitalized on well. What license does that site have? What goals can they show?

Nah haven't really played Cod4. You probably need to know the intricacies of the game to understand it. Maybe you know some of this stuff but hey: You noticed how I was blowing you up a lot? 4mm on the carbine, you get one if you pick up the large ammo crate after someone dies, they only appear 1/5 of the time. Grenade - If you look at the radar you can see when someone is rounding a corner, so I lob one at the floor so that it detonates when the person runs over. Magnum trap: just lay the floor with loads of magnum bullets and press R2 when someone runs over them. Then there's making sure you shoot someone in the head, which means it doesn't take a full clip. You can easily kill 2 people with the carbine with 1 clip without aiming at the head, you just have to concentrate the bullets. That's part of the Resistance gameplay. There's tonnes of other tricks I use but can't think of them off the top of my head.

Yeah I know. Bit annoying though. Just went into a Resistance match with MatTheHat, don't know what happened but he quitted in the end. I won the deathmatch but he must've quit halfway through. 40 kills 10 deaths but to be honest they were all crap. Mat was actually pretty good during 1 on 1 but it's about getting multiple kills which is probably why he switched to Cod lol.

Damn I just tried loading up a save file from the net so that I wouldn't have to unlock superhuman difficulty by playing the campaign on hard mode but it said 'Load aborted. This is not your save data.' Damn. Not gonna bother with platinum now, why should I have to play through the game 2 or 3 times to get this?

Well I don't see why. Anyone canget 10,000 kills online and anyone can get the platinum if they spend the time on it. It's tempting but it won't exactly be enjoyable which is what the playing it about. Having said that I love the trophy bleep. And Mat was right about the controls, they are pretty much perfect, which is why I've been playing it. What is it that put everyone else off playing? It's not too late to start (although K2 is out soon I guess.)

I do admire your Arsenal enthusiasm, you stick by them and rightly so, but Bendtner is just not up to your team standard. I originally thought he was a quality player but lack of goals tells me otherwise.

Well when I had the Wii and I imported Brawl with the Freeloader the Wii stopped playing discs after about a months good usage. I then got an ordinary lens cleaner, put it in and then I realised that the instructions require you to do something in the menus. So I took it out thinking it had done nothing and then I put Brawl in and it worked.
