Lol at £10 Argos voucher. Shopping in Argos is crap an it feels cheapy and lower-class. Just ask Michael Mcintyre.

Other Consoles@E3. Thread of Hype & Disappointment.
dwarf replied to Choze's topic in Other Consoles
But PS3 plays blu-ray But Xbox has better online But PS3 online is free But xbox has Halo Who gives a shit yaknow. All for the sake about arguing over a chip. -
One of the more confusing threads I've read.
-
I don't think so although there must be someone I could borrow from. Is it not possible to just put it staight onto the 320GB?
-
Well all I want to have to do is buy a 320GB HDD and put all the stuff on my 40GB on there without the hassle of redownloading and all that shiz.
-
in your opinion? So in system information it says 5164MB/37GB ....
-
320GB HDD needed for that, need to pull my finger out and get one. How do you back up data onto a new hard-drive? Because previously I just saved game data onto a memory stick but that still means you have to redownload other stuff. Is there a way of doing it without the long process of redoing everything on the system?
-
When (always seems like if) they finally release it it'll sell PS3s like hotcakes, I don't know how but everybody knows that Gran Turismo is the racing game. Oh yeah, and what is GTTV? I still don't get it, can you watch it in-game?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles In Time Remake
dwarf replied to Dante's topic in Other Consoles
I'm sorry but no, the game just whiffs of ubsubstantial boringness. It won't be special. -
Yeah I think shallow is the word. And yeah Unreal Engine is only good so many times, now it's boring. I don't think there'll be a lack of moves, it's just whther you'd actually use many of them.

This is the game that goes under the radar. It's brilliant that it's exclusive but I'd like there to be more media and impressions for it. Guess it's a game we can kind of talk about with a sense of specialness and secrecy. That sounds pretty sad but oh well, most of the stuff I say is.

If it were that simple they would have done it already, it's not as if motion controllers/non-controllers haven't passed their minds. I think Sony will have to change their controller next gen but I don't think it'll be that revolutionary.
-
You going online Choze? As for Red Faction, that Mars theme WILL get boring, no question. Thing is I reckon the missions could be interesting. If there was ever a game that would be good for a rent I think this would be it. Guarenteed fun and cool moments. The X-Men demo was pretty cool. Surprised how polished it was, graphically good. Again, more of a rent than a purchase.

Yeah it's kinda like the thing that chases him through the building with about the same level of destruction. Only thing I thought the controls weren't good for was weapon swapping. Other than that no problems I think.

The only ones I need now are: a couple more 10 kills during capture and hold, repairing stuff (which is just boring and time-consuming), and one more I can't remember. Got the air support one recently. Oh and check out my edit in the PS general discussion, want to know your views about the demo.
-
Daft that medal is piss! But yeah don't blame you. Did you get the associated level trophy too? (from steel and titanium)
-
Christ we've all been busy I think so it's been hard to get things set up but I have a free night tonight, I think, so ready to play something.
-
Wolverine got 7.8 or something like that on IGN. Never going to buy a movie-game tie in. NEVERZ!!! I just played the Red Faction Guerilla demo, and at the start as I was running, shooting and generally being an ass in what was a boring desert locale that showcased the crappy AI and explosion effects in the game, so I was looking forward to slate it on here, but how can I when I actually found it fun? This 3rd person objective/small sandbox genre has been done so many times before (Mercenaries is best example) and you can tell it's not that polished and there are areas where you know budget constraints have been set, but the vehicles are fun, everything has the nice habit of crumbling and breaking when you smash into it and at the end of the demo you just get to laugh at some 4x4s as you cream them with a mounted Rofl Launcher. No part of the game has originality to it but it has a similar charm to some PS2 games where you can laugh now at the bad enemy intelligence along with the copy and pasted floors and hills but there's no denying it actually works. As a demo it is brilliant actually.

To be fair It's not like comics are a competitive medium compared to what we have now so I could excuse this mistake, although I guess it's quite common knowledge.
-
Yeah although to be fair when I entered the game I did pop you and your team mate with headshots just after you jumped across the train Tried to get the manned turret in use so I could mow down everyone but only got you and someone else with it. Basically it's fun killing you Choze.
-
Well I had just enough funds and thought everyone else would be getting it.

You're all bastards, the lot of you! Why the injustice? I could wait for pretty much any other game.

Bastard, I need to pre-order it too but I doubt my parents will let me with this exam period. Can't believe my most anticipated game is going to have for a month after it releases.
