I thought that was an old trailer? To be honest I don't see the appeal or skill in the game.

I think there are better fighters than Soul Calibur, I didn't enjoy the Cube one that much. Tekken and Street Fighter is the way to go.

Not too shabby. Drogba had a golden chance but didn't have the edge to beat the keeper. Some of the dribbling and fast pace passing of Barcelona is brilliant though, they had so much posession.

I don't want another FPS for a few months tbh. Overcrowded and gets boring after overplay. Cod would bore me to death right now and I'm not enjoying Socom much right now either. I did ask for your opinion though so yeah. That would be an interesting combo. I think I want the next big FPS to be slightly more different in style somehow, kind of like how TS is compared to Modern FPS.

I think you need to stop comparing games with Cod. People on the Nintendo boards do it with golden eye but I think you should just treat each FPS title as a different game. Cod isn't like Killzone, or Resistance. I have respect for all three, I just like Resistance the most. The only thing is with resistance is that I haven't played it that much recently (apart from the odd hour) it's niche and not many people enjoy the more arcadey feel.

What does everyone on the Playstation board want to play next? I'm not talking an announced release but just the type of thing you want to buy for the PS3 in this moment in time. For me I want a solid platformer, more retro in style that doesn't feature guns in any way, just good old jumping, maybe throw in a few gadgets and stealth parts. After that on the agenda would be a non-anime 3D RPG/fighter kind of like Yakuza but more... British. Having said that I wouldn't mind digging into something like Demon Souls.

I didn't mind the ending I just wanted a boss. All I got was 3 fairly tough humans, in an uninspiring short space of a room. I was preparing myself for something big like a behemoth or something yet I just creamed the enemies with a rocket launcher...

I don't think I've seen as many trailers for a game pre-release. I'm not complaining though because they don't give too much away. Off topic but I'm getting the KZ2 costume code from the eu forums Btw that site just doesn't load for me btw. Just has the downloading icon.

Oh yeah Giggs won the PFA. I know you won't like this Flink but I think he gets more credit because of his age. He had a good season undeniably but I still think there are midfielders in other teams that play his role better. He hasn't featured that much since January/February though has he? I think the first half he got a lot of games.

Or you are better off getting Super Monkey Ball because it can easily be found for £5 here, probably uber cheap in Canada too.

I can't play late unless it's Friday or Saturday tbh. Ah well. And yeah at least you've got Worms. I'm guessing you haven't spent much time with it at the rate you play new stuff. It's like one chuck in the disc drive and then out again.

Take it somewhere else sad story. As for Uncharted, I wonder if they will include mythical creatures in this one. I know I started the yes/no argument for this before but I'm just curious whether they will do it this time round. There was a big divide so I think they'll make it less mythical and more like mutations of normal humans... Although I guess that was what the Spaniards were... I don't know. I liked how on the second run through there were a couple of hints that suggested what might happen later on. Like when Drake says something like 'But they don't look human?!'

It seems there has been a role reversal in regards to the Uncharted Thread and the Playstation Gen Thread. I'm not going to buy Bioshock. Just don't want to own the game, rather just nick it off a friend who doesn't play on it anyway.

Ah right good they got specialised people to do the online stuff. I want Naughtydog to bring back another Crash platformer. The first 3 were bloody brilliant and I really wouldn't mind paying a high price just to see the the badicoot return to his former glory. As it is the nob developers have eaten it up and have shat out the fellow.

^ Flameboy if I hadn't seen that multiplayer footage I would've agreed but it looks awesome. I think it'll still be all about the singleplayer and I'm sure Naughtdog haven't sacrificed anything to do with the campaign quality.

Looked pretty good, but you're right, the little jump animation after they've died is comedy brilliance.

What titles would you say will make this year great? For me these are the games: Killzone 2 This (Uncharted: Among Thieves) inFAMOUS Heavy Rain MAG Cod 6 God of War III (potentially this year, but I doubt it) And Worms of course lol.

I guess not. I want it now lol. I'd love to be able to play Uncharted and Infamous tomorrow for free as well as receiving that KZ2 map pack without charge. If only life were that easy. Do you want to do a bit of KZ Choze?
