  1. Story of Thor for the MegaDrive Seriously, anyone? This game was a fantastic Zelda clone and I obsessed over it for a while.
  2. There's something about CG blood that doesn't make it feel gory. It looks like a very low budget film.
  3. Whoa completely didn't see this thread, here's mine. Solo | JB Whiting Green highlight for me!

    Bioshock

There's a great setting in options (at the bottom) that makes the game run at a smooth 60fps! And there seems to be no drop in graphical quality.
  5. I have a question for anyone who has Test Drive Unlimited. I still need to complete another 10 hitchhiker and model drop off challenges for the achievement but there are no more to find on the map. Can anyone help me?

    Bioshock

Play have posted my copy (with the faceplate of course) but it says please allow 3-5 days! Could this mean I wont get it until Saturday, or (gasp) Monday, I better hope not!
  7. The Bourne Ultimatum Despite the shaky camera I thought this was a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy and some of the neat touches like weaving scenes from Supremacy with this and nods to Identity (like the ending ) were excellent. 8/10
  8. Bingo, I'm friends with a (sort of) famous person!
  9. If this is the same Hadouken! that has Alice Spooner as a keyboard player (I think) then I was in her class!
  10. Yup, I spent frikkin' ages getting the spray tag locations (used a guide of course) and I got like 20 points, whoop de fuckin' doo!

    GTA IV

Another reason to jump on the hate towards ps3 bandwagon!
  12. If my memory serves me correctly I've finished the game in 2hrs 15 minutes (give or take 10 minutes, and on the GC version)
  13. Funny you guys are bringing this up now... ''ReBoot Rebooted! Classic cartoon to become film trilogy It's a great day for anyone who watched TV cartoons in the mid- to late-1990s. ReBoot, the world's first CGI animated series and one of the most barmily inventive shows ever to call itself kid's entertainment, is being set up for not one film, but an entire trilogy. The plot of the series was set in a city called Mainframe, where binomes and sprites go about their business and live their digital lives. The chief dangers came from the gigantic game cubes (not to be confused with GameCubes) which would descend on a section of the city. At that point, sprite guardian Bob and others would battle to beat the User, lest the User win and that entire neighbourhood be destroyed as a result. Further threats came from the evil Web, and dangerous enemies like Hexadecimal, Megabyte and (later) Gigabyte. The series started off quite bright and cheery, with lots of pop culture references and kid-friendly characters, but got much, much darker in its third series and finally went off the air. The plans to reboot the series and take it to the big screen are complex - Rainmaker is teaming up with a comic site called Zeros To Heroes and asking five undiscovered writers to work up story ideas, which fans will then have the chance to comment on and get involved in proving. In August, fans will choose the winning pitch and a web comic will come out, based on that idea, later this year, with a film following after that. It's a complex plan, but one that could fit in well with ReBoot's still-loyal fan base. And after the CG bubble has well and truly burst, it might be just the time to go back to basics and build a new mainframe.'' From Empire.
  14. Aww he's only 13, leave him alone.
  15. Play.com have Prey in their sale for only £9.99!
  16. If it's Empire magazine you mentioned there, well, I don't see them as very respectable, their articles and (some) reviews are too immature to be taken that seriously. Still, I do buy it occasionally though. Munich Powerful, compelling, moving, if a little slow in places. Another Spielberg classic. 8/10
  17. I've been paying an increasing amounts of money to see a slightly improved but not improved enough to raise it above mediocre series of films. I'm seeing Potter No. 5 to see if it has indeed reached mediocrity.
  18. I've been listening to Lifehouse's new album. It's got some great songs (Disarray, Broken, Storm) and some not so great ones (The Joke, Whatever it Takes, Make Me Over). Overall though another stonker. Wade's vocals continue to engulf me in emotion and their songs get me through some hard times.
  19. Oh, my lord. I really can't wait that long for this game.
  20. Die Hard 4.0 was another in a line of disappointing blockbuster sequels, the action was entertaining but the story was dull and Gabriel is now the worst Die Hard villain, he just sat there in his command center blubbering. And what was with the Chinese woman? Was she a fucking terminator or something, she had zero emotion and driving a car into her at 50 mph did jack shit. Willis did not utter one memorable line throughout, every time he took out someone or something he just gave a sigh or said 'whoo'. I'm guessing the supposed humour was meant to come from Justin Long? Man what an asshole, I really hate that guy. The biggest gripe I had with this was the toned down violence and language, how this got a 15 I don't know as it's more suited to a 12A. Muffling out the motherfucker quote at the end was stupid, infact so was the inclusion of his daughter, and the inclusion of Kevin Smith, and the inclusion of the French free running dude. I'd seen most of the good shit in the trailers so what was left was lame dialogue and cliched bollocks. I've seen worst films this year mind you. 6/10
  21. You forgot to mention IX, superior to both!!
  22. Keh? Die Hard 2 was fantastic, much more in tone with the original than 3 and 4. I mean c'mon man if you're a fan Hostel Part II It seemed more light hearted than the first, unfortunately there were less porn scenes and the torture stuff wasn't as shocking second time round, still, it beats the Saw sequels at least. 6/10
  23. Does he have anything to do with the Manhunt 2 ban? Cos if he does...
