I don't get what this thing is everyone has about Theo Walcott's selection. Sure he's inexperienced but he's young, talented and has been shown to display exceptional ability. There are plenty of experienced premiership players who suck ass in comparison. Besides with Rooney looking set to play after all it's not as if we don't have enough reliable players, though I still question his fitness. then again, we may probably not need the big guns until the 2nd round with our grouping. Not so sure about the defensive tactics that the line-up suggests, but it is a workable stategy. The last time someone said something like that, Korea reached the semis'. It doesn't do well to underestimate anyone.

To be honest it's more of a shame then anything else. I'm having the same feeling I get everytime I find someone who actually watched but hated Gattica or The Truman Show. The human race feels incomplete until the situation can be rectified. Still, to each their own and all that. I know for a fact there are things I hate that bring the very same feelings about myself.

Almost certainly. Many of the games on-show will very likely in a complete or near complete state. This is going to be fantastic.

I have never gotten anything from Amazon later then they said it would arrive. I buy most of my stuff there. If it says despatched within 24hrs and then 1-2days delivery, it has always arrived within two days. When I had pre-ordered Wind Waker, they managed to get it to me the very day Nintendo had a random bout of generosity towards Europe and let the shops sell it a day early. I can only assume they sent it to me a day early anyway. Amazon are bullet proof.

I'm fairly certain that the XTXs are already overclocked XTs. I'm not a big fan of overclocking things myself, what with it voiding your warranty and all, and I can't afford a replacement if it goes pair shaped. I'm happy with pocketing the extra £30 for the minor compromise though. Get BF2 or something with that.

I believe the Wii will be more then capable of these effects in developers wish to use them. Although I personally feel that we are approaching a graphical ceiling. While the GC games have aged compared to the MGS4 real time demo, I've yet to see even the most idealistic Sony "tech demo" totally outshine the likes of Resi 4 or Prime. At least, in no where near the same way as the jump from PS1/PS2 or the great jump from 2D/3D. Maybe this will change once we start seeing DX10 in full effect on PC and possibly certain consoles, but it just seems like very soon the graphical potential of a console will be utterly inconcequential. Personally, I think it is already. As I said before, even if the Wii offered even no graphical improvement over the GC, (though I believe there will be a fairly significant improvment) that would still be more then enough for any professional developer to fully realise their vision. Sheer console horsepower just isn't a limitation anymore.

I'm on Gamespot every now and again. As I subscriber, E3 is always boom time for my download limit. Except this year, when I can only download a 30kbps anyway. I am going to kill Greendog. The forums their are fairly vicous sometimes. Don't go if you have a low tolerance for fanboys, though sometimes that is half the fun.

I missed the first 15mins. Where did he get the horse from? I presume it was on the ship. I also thought the final twist as to why they wanted her brain in particular was quite clever.

I really enjoyed tonights episode. Low on action, but very well scripted and D.T. looks like he's finally cracked the Doctors character. I feel like the series has finally taken off. Just lovely, wonderful sci-fi drama. Great performance from his lass too. Now eagerly awaiting next weeks episode. I don't care if it's a kids show. It's fantastic. If that makes me a kid, I don't ever want to grow up. It's just great, great television and sci-fi.
