I agree, I just love Film Four. Mononoke, though not as good as Spirited is actually my personal fav, though I will wait until I've seen Nausicaa. Laputa is great too - it's characters and scenery is like Yorkshire on speed.

It's a matter of taste really. The quality of the dub has generally been very good on most of the studio Ghibli films, so I'm quite comforatble with it, but there have been some pretty atrocious dubbings elsewhere. Yes, I have this one on DVD but I'll probably just watch it anyway. As a wise man once said, it's so good I crap my pants every time I watch it.

As my good friend pointed out the other day, the scariest thing you will ever look at is a picture of an ENTRE GALAXY. It really does boggle the mind how big , weird and far away everything is, and tinsey-tiny we are.

Did anyone see Infernal Affairs a few nights ago. I desperately need to get it on DVD, it was brilliant.

Sky Movies & Cinema mostly show wall-to-wall shite. I'm willing to put with a couple of ads every hour to watch if it means I get to see a channel that actually shows genuinly good film.

What size paper/envelope is that, for comparisons sake? Everytime I see someone so young and small, it really weirds me out that I used to be that tiny. I must say, she really is beautiful.

Very definitly the former. These are some of the best animated films ever made - you owe it to yourself to watch them.

Yeah, Ghibli did Mononoke. That film rocks harder then stone. Some say they're the Japanese Disney. That's a lie. Studio Ghibli are better then that.

A heads up to all you Ghibli lovers out there: Film Four will be having a Studio Ghibli season, starting tommorow at 4:55pm with Miyazakis debut, Castle of Cagliostro, with another Ghibli film every day for at least the next week. I'm pretty stoked, because I love Studio Ghibli films but only seen a handful, and here's my big oppetunity to catch up. I just hope they play Grave of the Fireflies - I feel that film will carry a certain extra poinency given recent events in the Middle East. People just need to see it.

Probably just means they'll be doing an extra big feature next month, though there is a good chance they've obtained something special. They're not like ONM - they just give you the goods.

Just 4 months ro so to go now, but I can't find anything on PS3 launch titles except for Dead Rising. Sony claim they'll have about 15 titles there. What is going to be available at launch?
