  1. Eledees. Ha! Great name. This looks like great fun, can't wait to try it.
  2. For anyone who is prehaps somewhat daunted, what "he" is trying to say is that without exsisting popular franchises and a more conventional hook lik high-def graphics, Nintendo will ineveitably hemorage consumers. Unlike say, the DS, which has risen to unfathomable levels of sucess by doing the complete opposite and attracting new gamers to the market with the likes of Nintendogs, Wild World and Brain Training.
  3. 82%. However, I was nerdy enough to know the answer to the Dune II faction question. Made a couple of stupid mistakes as well. And now back to work....
  4. So would licensed murder surely?
  5. ... ...such as?
  6. To cut a long story short, my flatmates are all evil robots from the future who are trying to kill me with unsanitary conditions. Apparently there's going to be a resistance and I'm my own uncle or something.
  7. Did I mention the suspicous looking used tissues lying around the toilet area?
  8. In the last 6 months I have found (and picked out with my bare hands) the following list, of waterlogged foodstuffs clogging the sink, on multiple occasions. In no particular order: Chips Beans Peas Curried Prawns Crisps Pasta Suspicous Goopy Grey Stuff Beef Chop-Suey Beef Curry A Hunk Of Beef Cornflakes Mouldy KFC Flaky Pie Crust Chicken Skin What magical wonders will I find next? Only time will tell...
  9. I watched a friend play the final section of MGS2 and I can honestly say it deserves it's place on that list. What the hell was all that blurry slow motion people fading in and out and rolling stock footage guff about? And my god, the monologue: it just went on and on with no substantial conclusion to it. To quote the popular animated character Peter Griffin: "What the hell is this? My god, somebody throw a pie!"
  10. Happy Birthday. It's at this point we discover the arab_freak is in fact an Gaould Emperor and with only Daniel Jackson left unparalysed by the ancient energy seeping out of the temple, it's up to him to figure out how to use the mysterious artifact to banish arab_freak to The Dark Realms as fortold by the desert elders they met on Pieces 342. So Happy Birthday!
  11. Goodf ol' Arnie: Kindergarden Cop "Are these your lunches? You mean you eat other people's lunches? STOP IT!" 7/10 True Lies [while launching a Harrier missile] "You're fired!" 8/10
  12. I dunno, after a cursory glance over the release schedules, kinda looks about 50-50 to me.
  13. I think there are just some stories that don't warrant a retelling.
  14. Besides getting a girl friend, really should get to the gym. The shadows of future love handles are starting to form.
  15. Better get used to it, the second it's released you won't be able to get a decent sized game of anything else.
  16. I've been to my town a couple of times in the last few days. Not a drop of Wii anywhere! And now I have to kill myself.
  17. Time Bandits Time traveling midgets take on an evil wizard. Actually even better then it sounds. Classic British sci-fi surrelaism. Did I mention the time traveling midgets? 9/10 PS. I mean seriously, time traveling midgets. Imagine having dinner with the man who thought of that.
  18. High School Musical A wonderful all singing, all dancing pop triumph and talent showcase, repeatedly undermined throughout by a director clearly suffering from ADD. I hope the choreography and casting departments rise up and kill the scissor happy idiot. It's like trying to watch a show while spinning around on an office chair. Shameful, shameful direction and editing. 7/10
  19. Ah, this reminds me of that infamous "twanger" episode of Rainbow. [here] Filth out oozing out of every wall of the set I tells you. Was that just a joke or dubbed over or actually broadcast or what?
  20. Yes, how dare they attempt to make their films more accesable to an international audience. Let us just kill them now and be done with it.
  21. I thought the dub was pretty good.
  22. Night at the Museum Imagine a magical and imaginative story of wonder, trials and the human spirit, studded with top rate performances from an immensily talented cast of first class stars. Now throw that all away and do your best to endure this innofensive but utterly turgid Ben Stiller-lead family movie instead, which despite a cast cherry picked from Hollywoods current poster boys will garner few laughs from even the most E-number fuled children. Worth the £4 entry fee? Depends how much two hours of sleep is worth to you. 5/10
  23. So then, 2006 - how was it for you? Was it as pretty average year, or did something amazing happen to you, like discovering Narnia in an akward place upon your girlfriends person, or did you just spend far too much time on 4Chan this year? Any views on world events over the past twelve months? Any hopes for the future? It has been somewhat uneventful year for me - moved to a new college and inherited a shite flatmate. Elsewere, it's been a pretty sickening year for English sport with our Rugby, Football and Cricket teams all suffering from a severe case of sheer and utter suck. Determined to get a flat with my mate next year. Which will be nice.
  24. This year I recieved - £100+ in cash £20 in Music Zone vouchers Oodles of Chocolate A leather-bound diary planner And an awesome jumper which makes me look like a 70's sci-fi extra. Good haul on the whole.
