There must be at least fifty different album covers from the late 90s I've seen with almost exactly the same motif, I swear.

Woo, gratz Eenuh! Not hard to see why they chose yours over the others - yours is the only one that thinks outside the box and is memorable and stands out, while the others are all just covers for generic electronica albums.

Do You Want Kids, Kittens or Puppies. (ex-sexuality thread!)
gaggle64 replied to Jav_NE's topic in General Chit Chat
Would definitly like to raise some little 'uns at some point, biological or adopted - wouldn't want them until my late 20s at the earliest though, related conditions permitting. Not desperate to take on that kind of responsibility too soon of course. Reckon you'd make a cracking uncle though. :p I can just picture it now, sitting in the family living room with your finely waxed mustache and top hat, having just popped in for tea: "Unkie Aimless, where do babies come from?" "From selfish individuals placing ever greater burden on common society with their bestial mammalian needs, that's where." "..." -
I'd love it if Brawn GP went out and scored a clutch of podiums after Honda up and left them - it was Honda's meddling that left the team in a such dire straits in the first place. As for McLaren who knows what they have (or haven't) got brewing. Their apparent lack of pace isn't so much concerning as it is downright odd, but if Ron says everything is up to snuff I think we have to assume it is until actual racing action demonstrates otherwise.

Everything is almost pure speculation until we're looking at the Melbourne qualifying results, though I certainly hope we see a range of teams scoring points this year, or at least scrapping it out rather then languishing behind.

Xpert Eleven Season 8: Villan still a loser
gaggle64 replied to Mr_Odwin's topic in General Chit Chat
I don't what to expect after last season - came away with an overall excellent change report despite numerous match losses. Probably gonna be another difficult season while I incorporate and train up more fresh blood, but we'll see. -
Grooo, I has the man flu. Had rather a rough night but I think I'm through the worst of it already. I'll wrap up warm with a cup o' hot Lemsip and a couple of Schwarzenegger or Naked Gun movies I think.

Amadeus Having heard this referenced frequently I decided it was about time I gave it a punt. It was so awesome I physically raped the disk in celebration after. Then I watched Last Action hero. "He sade yoo kellled Motesahrt." "Who?" "Motes-ahrrrrt!" "I dunno Jack, I've killed a lot of people." Awesome.

As much as I like the white, I certainly hope they get plenty of sponsors to decorate it all up a bit. Also monies.

Xpert Eleven Season 8: Villan still a loser

*dusts off hands* Welp, that puts an end to a frankly diabolical season for me. Roll on the lower league... -
Welp, it's officially official now - Rubens and Jense will be rejoining the grid in the colours of Brawn GP. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/73577

It's not that the politicians in Britain are particularly incompetent (well, not all the time anyway). They just don't seem to give a shit. Who the hell do you vote for when both the main parties are giving you nearly identical policies, all vote the same way and tell you all the same bull? The only alternative is the Lib Dems who are basically incapable of kicking up a fuss about anything, even when they try. Especially when they try, to be quite honest.

I agree - why are those six mini roundabouts even there? They serve no purpose other then to complicate things clearly. Though I suppose it's only natural that somebody who plans contraflow obstacles might start to get creatively frustrated.

Gran Tourino Clint Eastwood produced, directed and staring as an aging Korean war vet who helps the child of a local family of immigrants man himself up. Charming and leaves you feeling oddly relaxed - best viewed in a big cinema full of women approaching their autumn years who would still totally hit that shit. Plus, the car really is awesome.

I still maintain that there were bits of Red Steel that actually worked pretty well, but the overall production values were just so shoddy. It was the game equivalent of somebody building a house with one really good wall, half a roof and live electrical wiring flapping all over the place. Also, the house is full of urine and poo.

Blurrgh, I've had almost no mental or physical energy these last couple of days. I think me and housemate caught a cold from the gym or something. Or the doctors. Why does every health facility around here harbour some kind of irritating disease? I'm afeared to go to the chemists now. :/

USF1 have officially thrown their hat in now. Lot of work to be done, but I dare say we look forward to seeing them on the grid in 2010. http://formula-one.speedtv.com/article/f1-usf1-ready-to-roll/

Slap the ol' theme tune on the front of that and call it "Grand Prix" again and I'll be the victim if a serious and very sudden case of uncontrollable manplosion. In other news, I'm liking how Honda are either doing dandy or are totally and utterly fucked, depending on who you ask. I wish they'd hurry up and get on with either confirming a buyer or else just raise the whole factory to the ground already.

Could be one of those "pretending to be dead to get around" sorts of plots: Through the fiery maelstrom, the Normandy bursts with Cmdr. Shepard whooping on the intercom. General: Shepard?! My god, I thought you said he was dead! Lieutenant: That's what we told the press, sir. A huge explosion rocks the space station. Command Staff: Holy hell, more Geth incoming! CUT to NORMANDY BRIDGE - Ashley/Kaiden: The station - it's nearly destroyed! Shepard: Heh, looks like we're right on time. OR Shepard: Stowe it soldier and load up: We're going in. OR Shepard: Whooooo bizntches! etc.

Might depend on what other sponsors they get as well of course. Can't get much worse then the whole Force India/McLaren colour scheme confusion I kept having last year at any rate.

Yes, very good news. It's certainly a very Branson-esque thing to do. At least we know there's at least one solid bidder in the running. Don't care who gets it so long as they can provide for the team. In fact, I'd probably prefer if somebody else did get it and Sir Branson used the cash improving his expensive, slow-ass trains. Gawd bless you G'vner.
