I love TP & SS but agree with comments on their overworlds. I'd not say they lacked charm but the worlds did feel a bit sparse. One thing @Ronnie and I agree on completely is that we both think the animations need a huge overhaul. Link looks so rigid in his movement that it detracts from the immersion.

@Ronnie, you remember them saying Zelda would also be released in 2015 right? You can't say that it'll not be shown at all just based on what they say. Hell, they said the WiiU's online features and options would be up to par with the competition... ha. I don't trust anything Nintendo say these days. I've learnt from being burned repeatedly.

So @Serebii when did Nintendo say how many different game modes were coming and how many was that number?

There was so much potential to this game that will just go unrealised.

It was a slight in all honesty. It's just that Nintendo are late with their foray into online and these beta tests they've done are a little too short and close to release to iron everything out. With them adding to the online too, more niggles will pop up along with this. ...and they're adding to the online for free because the game is incomplete as it's release package. If it was finished they'd charge for the DLC. They know it's unfinished so they're giving it free.

This is Nintendo and online you're talking about. Not to mention that it's an unfinished game, of course there will be problems when it's released.

I was round at a friends yesterday with a few others, just chilling having a drink and takeaway after work, we had some music channel on (not sure which) and the Splatoon advert came on. After it said "Nintendo's online 4vs4 shooter" (those words from what I recall), one of my friends asked me about it so I told him the premise. He started talking tactics and strategy etc. (we used to game on CoD/Battlefield on the 360), when I mentioned the game had no voice-chat, this of course bewildered them and they lost any interest, laughing it off. One of my friends (who doesn't game) asked why would they have it so you could not even be able to talk to your friends... I had no answer of course. Idiots Nintendo, idiots. Still, there are adverts out there and this was around 11pm at the time.

Another simply fantastic One Piece chapter! This arc has been all kinds of awesome, I just hope the anime does it justice. What worries me is that the anime has pretty much caught right up to the manga and so I worry it may have padding to slow it from completely catching up which will lessen the arcs awesomeness.

I'll watch them all after the event. I can't take it off work and I'm not hyped for Nintendo anyhow. Mostly hyped for what will show for the PS4.

My problem is that I generally enjoy multiplayer games more than the single-player experience, so when I want to game with my friends I'll look to do it online. Here's where Nintendo are losing me with their attitude towards online and their poor implementation of it. As a result, the only games that would tempt me to buy a Nintendo console these days are Zelda, Metroid and Xenoblade. No other game is a system seller to me anymore... and I've always been a Nintendo fan. If their games aren't appealing to me, would they appeal to non-Nintendo fans out there?

Bit of an exaggeration yourself. I did game whilst on the phone and we tried Skype but it wouldn't work if you recall as the iPhones hadn't had the conference call update at the time. For MH4U it just wouldn't work with my PS4 as it kept disconnecting me whilst both were on so it was t that I couldn't be arsed. Skype worked ok with it, you lot just wouldn't use Skype.

If I see it on the cheap, second-hand or something, I'll pick it up if people are skyping. Skype was talked about with MK, Smash and MH4U but nobody bothered so I'm not sure about people using it for this too.

@MadDog that is true, he does... still, no Premier League medal for him, but at least he got a guard of honour coming on... not quite the same really though.

Liverpool did a fantastic job of sending Slippy G off, haha.
