  1. If Nintendo want 3rd Party Devs onboard then it has to use similar architecture to it's competitors for ease of porting. It's the only way they will compete.
  2. Again, you're ignoring the issue at hand. The BS statement you made initially, I've quoted the conversation between you and Hero, I've also stated as he had the differences in gameplay between the 2 CoDs. You're just taking my statement, which was made as a BS statement (I stated that) and twisting it because you can't actually admit you're incorrect and have made a nonsensical statement. This is why you rub people the wrong way.
  3. Not quite on par but not nearly as far off as you'd imagine. In Ghosts it was very much a typical infantry soldier shooter, you'd be able to run around on the ground and climb small obstacles, that's it. In BO3 you've got crazy jumping about the place with some sort of jet/booster packs and wall-running etc. The difference in the gameplay between Ghosts and BO3 is huge. Not so much with some CoDs going back, but recently the difference is as clear as day. The difference between those CoDs is larger than the differences between the last few Mario Karts and between the last few Zelda's and between plenty of Nintendo games (I'm not slating Zelda, it can stay like that forever, I love it).
  4. Here. We don't appear to be talking about different things. They play very differently, not just slightly, very differently! It's like if I were to say Splatoon plays just like any other team based shooter. It'd be bollocks, they play completely differently.
  5. I should have deleted that part of your quote, the part I was calling crap was the whole "the last few CoDs were the same" part... as I've now edited it to be.
  6. With such a blinkered view as this (especially so seeing how you've not played either) it's no wonder you're so absolutely full of shit statements you so often make. Granted I blast things for not having voice-chat and any decent online functions but at least there's merit in that. Here, your post is just completely nonsensical BS!
  7. It is true though @Ronnie, why should we believe what Nintendo tell us going forward when they have lied a fair bit? The WiiU doesn't do what they said it would (have online functions on par with the competition, work with 2 Gamepads, have huge 3rd Party support), they've not shown any evidence or backed up things that they've said they would address (no droughts after having learnt from the 3DS and then again, after having not learnt that first time, saying they'd not suffer droughts in the WiiU's 2nd year... which they then have done). How can we take them on what they say? How can you not call it lies?
  8. That's a night and day difference that is! Night and day!
  9. Yeah but if you add those sales together it equals more. That's the simple reason games would sell more on another console.
  10. I don't, not in the slightest, they'd sell plenty more, here's why: Almost all those that buy Nintendo consoles would buy one of the others, they'd still buy those Nintendo games and then so would a portion of the other console owners that don't buy Nintendo consoles... of course they'd sell more!
  11. Won't be getting the games I want? I call bollocks to this. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Xenoblade, Mario Kart and Smash would all sell better on a Sony or Microsoft console than they would on a Nintendo one. I've no doubt in that at all! I've no doubt they'd continue making these ones! These are the only ones I would truly want... as long as the multiplayer ones have proper online too and not the half-arsed attempt Nintendo usually give us.
  12. I wish I was past caring but I'm not, I still care and want them to do better. Yet it pisses me off that I do because I just keep getting disappointed! In an ideal world they'd make an awesome machine, port-friendly for 3rd Party Devs, with all the functions you'd expect them to have... Party Chat, online modes in their multiplayer games and a full array of options/functions within those games too and also to make the games their fans are crying out for (Metroid, F-Zero, Waverace, 1080 etc). ...but alas, they'll not do this. Not until Hell has frozen over and pigs are soaring through the skies So then this leads me to another hope, which one may say is sacrilege... I hope they go 3rd Party.
  13. Excellent posts there @Zechs Merquise, couldn't have said it better myself. In fact, I've not tried to say it better, I've just vented out of sheer frustration, sorry guys. The WiiU has really put a downer on me lately.
  14. Maybe after the august update.
  15. I'm just venting Dazzy because I don't know what else to do. The company that brought me so much joy and wowed me for 25+ years just aren't doing that anymore... they're not even trying to! Their games could all be better and they could move forward with the industry but they choose not to. That's lacklustre and it pains me to see them like it. I'm not doing it to troll, I'm moaning because I'm pretty much distraught with how Nintendo are as of late and I need to get it out.
  16. For telling us the console would have all the features it's competition would and that it would be up to par with online/voice chat etc..? :p It still burns me that Reggie blatantly lied saying it'd have all of it. I was so looking forward to the WiiU and online gaming with it...
  17. They owe us Party Chat! :p
  18. Not for the last month. I did play MH4U religiously for a while when it came out though. It's an odd one as there are plenty games I want to play, but I think the combination of Destiny DLC being an overpriced bag of shit and Nintendo just being utterly wank I'd been put off switching my consoles on. I fell out of love with gaming for a bit but this E3 (Sony's, not Nintendo's... urgh) has rekindled my want to play again. The game more than any other that made me feel like this is The Last Guardian! I've a couple weeks off work from next week so I'm just going to knuckle down and clear my back-log, then I'll pick up The Witcher and Batman.
  19. I've not gamed on my WiiU since January and this E3 has put me off putting it on anytime soon. Gutted.
  20. I've not gamed on my PS4 since January but this E3 has made me want to dive back in and start gaming again. So much awesomeness!
  21. Nintendo aren't even half the company they once were.
  22. Kav

    Star Fox Zero

God it looks so bad. Ugly and way too slow. This isn't good enough to show at E3, what were they thinking?!
  23. Just Xenoblade for me...
  24. And I certainly wouldn't have done! Ronnie, if you've seen any of my thoughts on Destiny you'd know I think the DLC is the most overpriced, thin on the ground content I've ever seen (moreso than I think of Splatoon). It's ridiculous that DLC is in any of the briefings in my eyes.
  25. Fantastic post @Zechs Merquise! Also, @Serebii, people would have still complained had the earlier Directs not been shown and were instead included in the Digital Event. Talking about DLC for games in the main E3 shpwing and having that as a major point is NOT acceptable! New game announcements are what's required, not padding for games already out!
