We played terribly and got lucky at the end with Green's kick. Hopefully the points keep coming in, I don't care how, as long as they do! I wish the fans wouldn't sing "we're gonna win the league"... we saw how that turned out for the bin-dippers!

That's not Batman, Batman is swooping through the City skyline stopping crime... which is what City was. Granted, as a game, I enjoyed Asylum more but I loved City too! I found them overrated and a bit easy... they are good but not as much as is touted. You'll enjoy them for sure though given how much you liked The Last of Us.

I'd pick it up on the PS4, on the WiiU it won't sell enough and there won't be enough players online to play all the different game modes. That's if I pick it up at all though, I didn't buy AW because Ghosts and BO2 were such let-downs.

@Wii is right about the E3 2103 video looking better, I thought that when watching it the other day. I do wonder why.

No. I'm just sick of Nintendo's attitude toward online to the point I'm not buying it. I'll not back them until they cater to me. I know people say they'll use Skype etc but that was said about MK8, Smash and MH4U but it never came about. Also, I've never rated FIFA. The funny thing is that I'm not bad at it, I just don't enjoy it.

They're partly at fault, for not making an enticing enough games machine for his friends to consider. I've loads of friends who grew up as Nintendo fans that are still gamers but have made the move to the PS and XB consoles, from last gen mostly. Simply because Nintendo aren't moving forward with the industry.

My 3DS is getting so much love lately! I've not played on my PS4 or WiiU since late Jan/early Feb I think because I've been 3DS'ing... catching up on Zelda ALBW (finished) and LM2 and then hitting MH4U, which I simply can't get enough of!

I've just realised I've missed the last couple month's PS+ games. D'oh! I need to switch my PS4 back on at some point. Both it and the WiiU are just gathering dust thanks to my 3DS and (now) Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

Yeah I agree with that. Nintendo have adopted the shitty practice with Splatoon's DLC but the Amiibo itself (which granted is required to buy the DLC) is still good value because it'll do more than just that.

I don't think any of the consoles have yet had a generation defining game.

That's what I ask for Nintendo's next console. Give us parity... online features, Party Chat etc, but also make the console similar in architecture. If they did the ease of porting games would make it so much more viable for 3rd Parties to port their games.

The thing with the Amiibo is that they can be used on multiple games across multiple systems. This is why you're incorrect @Sheikah. The Amiibo isn't Day 1 DLC, it's simply a key. Splatoon has Day 1 DLC, correct, but Amiibo is not that DLC because it can be used with other games too to unlock other DLC, so in this respect Amiibo is fantastic value. Calling out Nintendo for making the Splatoon DLC Day 1 DLC is fair enough I agree, but to call out the Amiibo as being Day 1 DLC is incorrect as it's much more than that. Still, I do think they should offer the DLC separately to being unlocked by Amiibo in their games.

But there are already 2 CoD games on the WiiU and they both support full voice-chat.

His whole post explains it well enough. He even states dependant on the content the Amiibo unlocks that he may withdraw his point. Come on Sheikah, at least read his whole post.

I loved it, it didn't end the way I thought it might but I still liked how it did and am looking forward to seeing where it goes from here (I've heard a second season is coming..?).

It's not just voice-chat. It's their whole mentality towards multiplayer and online gaming and the poor functions of which they have. I don't enjoy their multiplayer games anymore. It's not just because of voice chat. You should probably stop obsessing over other's opinions, that's the real cringeworthy thing!

Read my post again, because it's not a product I feel is good, I don't think it should sell because it's sets a bad precedent. As if sub-par products are ok. I'm allowed to have the opinion that it's sub-par as a result of the lack of voice chat. It's not being "immature and entitled", it's an opinion, simple as that. That you don't like my opinion, fair enough, you're entitled to not like it, but you're wrong in saying it's "entitled and immature". Just accept it.
