In my opinion Splatoon is good in that it's fresh and gives something different to the shooter genre, but I'd not say it's groundbreaking because it's held back from being so by a lack of very simple and standard features in an online game which detracts far too much from the overall experience. It gives new gameplay, yes, but doesn't break ground, it doesn't make enough of an impact to do so... although it absolutely could've done if it lived up to it's potential!

If there's no Party Chat at an OS Level on the NX I'll just not bother picking it up... at least not on launch, I'd probably buy it second-hand on the cheap and only when enough big games are out for it. It definitely won't be a multiplayer machine for me... Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Splatoon, I'd not bother with any of them.

Vardy has more goals than we have points! Haha We're shambolic this season! I just don't see us turning it around anytime soon with the way we're playing.

I don't know what's going on at the moment, another friend's mum has been taken into hospital, having tests as apparently she's really unwell and then another mate has hit his head after tripping up and is in a coma... seriously, what the fuck?! This is starting to turn out to be like last year all over again. I'm ok, luckily I've great support around me, close friends and family. I just wish I could do more for my mates. I was hoping big disasters would be behind me after the year I had in 2014!

A couple of my close friends have had bad news which has just left me so stunned, I feel sick. One of my friends' mother has been diagnosed with leukaemia and my other friends' daughter died this weekend at the age of 16. Just torn to bits for them both, I wish there was something more I could do other than be there for anything they'd need.

She knows! Can you believe it? I think she can cope because we're shit now. To be fair, Begovic has been our best player this season.

Meeting the girlfriend's little'ns tomorrow and her brother on Saturday... big weekend!

The problem with Chelsea is that we're a split second behind the play, mentally. We're reacting to play as opposed to anticipating it. We're not going in for 50/50's and not reacting to a ball that breaks from play, as a result we're off the pace. It's ill preparation on both the players and thus the managers part.

I woke up, watched it, went back to sleep. Got up for work, watched it again.

For me it needs a few simple things: 1. Similar architecture to other console for ease of porting multiplatform games. 2. Multiplayer games to have online... decent online! 3. OS level Party Chat. If it has those 3 things it's a day 1 purchase for me, if not I'll buy it second-hand at some point I guess.

I didn't know what this was referring to until a few days ago. I literally thought people were seriously asking if we were going to watch something on Netflix and chill... I was like "maybe" Haha

Going for a Thai tonight with the girlfriend and then back to hers to chill. Will be going to the National Football Museum tomorrow... result!

The first two episodes have been fantastic! I've only read a little of the manga but I think I'll just stick to the anime given how good a job MadHouse are doing with it!

I don't play with just one weapon. I'm like this on every game, I like changing up how I play very often. After roughly every 3 games I'm usually wanting to use a completely different set-up. It's just the way I am, I don't have a favourite weapon, I have many favourites! It's why on the CoD games I used to create 2 separate accounts, because 10 customer class slots weren't enough... so I had 20 yet I still wanted more!

I put this back on this afternoon after not having played for a little bit. I still enjoy the game but it certainly is getting too frustrating. I hate having to back out of lobbies to search weapons and gear. They absolutely need an update which allows us to set classes which we can choose in lobbies. Anyhoo, I chose team Dog although I'll not really play it much, if at all, during the Splatfest.

Oh holy crap! This month's chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin was awesome... next chapter is going to be all kinds of epic!!!
