You know how you can do an impression of someone speaking Chinese, without actually saying a single Chinese word? It would probably end up sounding quite racist, but you know what I mean. :P This is from an Italian TV show, and the idea is they're doing the same thing, but with the English language. This is what English sounds like to non-English speakers. The fantastic thing is, they could almost be real lyrics. Every word is nonsense, but your brain fights to hear meaning. (Skip to 0:25)

Some of those cold callers are voice activated. Just say nothing when you pick up the phone, wait a few seconds, then make a stupid noise, like "fleggypoom-la-la-mi" in a rough voice, and see if a robot replies a few seconds later.

Come on, don't you think Roostophe is a better name? For one: I didn't come up with it; it was a nickname from school. For two: People called 'Villan' are ten a penny, whether they are Aston Villa fans or just can't spell 'villain'. You dudes just need to get used to it. Especially as it's my X11 username, I thought some of you here would be more used to saying it than other members - the ones who don't play X11 and are therefore not as awesome as you.

If you wanted to show we go way back, you should call me 'Mr. Brightside'. :wink: Anyway, yes, am well chuffed with my start to the campaign, don't really know how I'm going to fit in my youth, though. Goalkeeper might not be a problem, could fit in a Midfielder here and there. But it's the forward and defenders that might be the problem, especially the 17 year-old.

Everyone knows about the N-E moments. This is for the older members - I remember some leetle moments from Cube-Europe - Gawd rest its soul! Jordan got to 10,000 posts, but somebody resetted it to 0 for a laugh. Jord left the forum in a strop. Came back afterwards, but clearly wasn't happy about the whole thing. The old Cube-Europe Xsorbit forum and how badly it ran. Because it was xsorbit, who were shit. The announcement of a new C-E website and new forums 'cos we were sick of the xsorbit boards - Revolution-Europe! ViPeR made a story entitled "The Mansion" featuring members who were in a mansion dying horrifically. This included CooInTheZoo being eaten by insects and his remains were naught but a bloodied skeleteon - one ex-member being decapitated - and Offerman making many advances on the females. I'm surprised I remember so much about it. Great story, but he never finished it. I also remember some members joining the forum - j7's return and Tphi - I think he was a mere staff member when he joined - look at him now. Methinks other C-E members remember these only slightly. I reckon they remember the less obscure moments.

As I added Happenstance as a friend on teh new option, I got a link to a match he had in his Xpert League's Cup today. That's...pretty cool IMO.

Good win today. Got Ellmeister at his gaff next, though. That one has become somewhat of a bogey fixture; don't really look forward to that one, a bit like when I play Haden.

Finished watching K-ON! last night. Enjoyed it quite a lot. The songs are pretty decent, as well. I'm learning the ED song - Don't Say Lazy - on guitar & bass. The bass in that song is mint. Now I'm onto watching a football anime called Whistle! It looks alright, though rushed - like they wanted to get it out in time for the 2002 World Cup - and I'm hoping the fansubs are by people who actually know a thing or two about football. It's bad enough that there isn't a single United States of American who can spell 'practising' correctly.
