We lost to Burnley in the Carling Cup last year, that was pretty much sweet revenge. We were at home so our players didn't get confused about the shirt colours.

You know you live in the year 2005 when . . .

I did crack a smile when I read it. 'tis clever. -
You might have to draw a picture of me as I cannae find a photo of myself to put onto here. I'm about 5'11" (still effin' growin) I'm thin but the scales say 10 stone. Brown hair with blonde highlights, blue eyes with glasses, freckly skin with a few spots, and don't forget to add an Aston Villa or AC Milan shirt, i'll try to get a picture in the meantime to help ye. But use that as a starting point, alreet.

I forgot about Scrubs and Peep Show. Both class I agree with you about Bottom there. Rik Mayall did send a script to the BBC of a final series of Bottom, but it was rejected, the bastards. I'm not sure about British comedy losing its appeal, what with Peep Show, Little Britain, Bo' Selecta (I just remembered that, too), The Mighty Boosh etc. etc.

Let's have a think... British: Bottom The Young Ones The Mighty Boosh The Royle Family The Fast Show The Office The Day Today Little Britain Mike Bassett (Film and Telly) Black Adder Mr. Bean Red Dewarf Fawlty Towers I'm Alan Partridge Then there's the Quiz shows: Never Mind The Buzzcocks They Think It's All Over QI Mock The Week American: Friends The Simpsons Family Guy South Park And yankee bathtard films such as Team America, Austin Powers (specifically Goldmember), the stupid ones such as Hot Shots and Hot Shots: Part Deux, Airplane. And many Jim Carrey films (but Jim Carrey is Canadian, oh well), Ace Ventura, Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar. But, I think Brit humour is better, some of the stuff on those programmes are complete genius. (The Mighty Boosh, The Young Ones etc.)

A lot of people here say they support Arsenal/Spurs/ManU/Celtic/Villa because they are local big teams but I know a fair few amount of people who support little known clubs, such as Walsall, East Stirling, Greenock Morton (that's me, that one), and even Sutton Coldfield Town. I am a Villa fan 'cos they are local, but I want teams like Sutton Town to do well. Who else here supports little known clubs or Football League/Conference/Scottish clubs. Despite supporting teams who have been very successful in Europe.
-
Every Villa fan I know has noticed this: Whenever Villa have a shite start to the season we have a good end to the season (e.g. 2003-04 season, 18th at Xmas, finished 6th) and vice-versa.

1st ever win? Stupid arsehole, that was our first win against Blues since 1988 (Because they haven't been in the same league as us for 14 of those years)
-
I agree with Hank Scorpio, I can't recall bonny Scotland winning a game under Vogts. I want Scotland to do well and I would love to see them in the WC again just like France '98. Oh well, maybe next time.

I doubt that they would make a sequel, the ending of SOA didn't really pave the way for a sequel, did it. But if a sequel was to be planned, they might have to set it well after Vyse's time. Or start it off like the first game, the main character being a sailor on his dad's ship. But the dad is Vyse. Or the first bit but you're dad is a black pirate and the main character would either become a blue rogue or a black pirate depending on your Swashbuckler rating, bit like Fable. Those are my suggestions/thoughts, tho.

6/10 Well, I don't know who that is. And I'm not sure if you're spoiler is about your avatar or someone elses. -
6/10 Unique but have no idea what it means.

I'll just say I liked that pic, I found it quite the amusement. So then, is your avatar what Avinash_Tyagi says it is, pedrocasilva?

Don't watch it, then.

Retro games you've been playing lately
Roostophe replied to zatoichi's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I played two old N64 games today: WWF No Mercy and FIFA '99. I didn't play any matches on either of them, on No Mercy I just listened to/looked at the music and titantron in the Edit-A-Wrestler screen. And on FIFA I looked at the leagues of old, where the Premiership still included European Cup winners Nottingham Forest and Haribo's beloved Sheffield Wednesday, MK Dons were still Wimbledon and Birmingham City were nowhere to be seen, happy days they were...And to realise that Borussia MG is actually Borussia Monchengladbach. -
*Looks up at last poster's name* :eer: I'm pleased with Villa's result, we were 3-1 down at Half Time. Milner's first goal was beautiful. Manchester City lost to Doncaster Rovers 3-0 on penalties. They made a right dog's dinner of it didn't they? old Mancunian Blue.

You're Old Gregg, you love the Mighty Boosh. I love you too. 8/10.

I love the Mighty Boosh, it's genius. With the moon in the second series. "Shooting Star, look at you" "Shooting Star, ball of light" "Shooting Star, GET OUT THE WAY! You're all in my periferens (sp?) vision. You're all over the place, like a bluebottle...flippin' idiot!"
-
first off: 1-1, we had a lot of chances in the first half. All I can say is I hope Robinson has form like that for England, secondly, Milner scored, yes yes oh yay. Thirdly, that was a brilliant goal by Robbie Keane, finally, Baros is showing a lot of potential, he set up Milner's goal. Blues drew with Portsmouth, Nicky Butt: Tw*t.

Since my own things that are excellent got locked. I'll put my message into this one: In year 11 at my school they give certain students mentors, I got a mentor, and he is my Drama teacher, who likes me a lot.

Marshmellow_7 beating me to be the poster of the Things that Are Excellent thread. Probably posted it when I was doing it myself, weren't there when I was about to make it. *coughTWATcough*

'Tis me, I am the Villan. Formerly known as Mr. Brightside on C-E. got fed up of that name and changed to The Villan, because I am a supporter of Aston Villa FC. And the 854. My post count on C-E before it all changed to this lighter atmosphere

I'm still getting used to this new look, I'm even trying to cope without the posts count.
