  1. I feel like shit Cold, headache, nausea, sore throat, chills + sweating, all the works. Yesterday I took the day off and watched Grave of the Fireflies 2 Episodes of Battlestar Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe About 4 episodes of Gossip Girl Read some Brave New World Then Heroes then bed Productive day Feel abit better today. Run out of things to watch now though... Oh and just found out one of my best buds passed his Driving test, no minors, good news. EDIT: Gizmo, illness high five!
  2. Happy Birthday dudes
  3. Portishead. I usually quite like anime op songs but the voice annoyed me.
  4. Jees, the CSS remix wasn't that bad! Still, im easily going for Postal Service. I practically came when it was played on top gear the other night. Id be most happy to see it win the whole tournament.
  5. Ach, I hate you now. I ended up watching 4 episodes over the weekend. Stupid addictive show. Now I watch this, Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy... I must surely now be classed as a girl.
  6. I had lessons for a few weeks, while our school gave them out for free, then went it alone. It was good to get the basics covered properly, but im pretty sure it's easy enough to self teach. I have since, it's worked out quite well. Tabs, books are essential, and Id also recommend having a look at youtube tutorials for some songs / techniques (I only recently found out how palm muting works, thanks to youtube)
  7. The end cracked me up. Can it outrun a baddy in Corvette in a shopping mall? Can it fight in a marine beach assault? Awesomeness.
  8. Chairdriver, do Black Cherry have an album out? That song sounds really good, but I can barely find anything on them on the interwebs. The ones I've considered good enough to download have been American Beauty, Into the Wild, Juno, Magnolia, Requiem for a Dream, and the piece of utter fucking brilliance that is Fight Club. Im sure theres more that I've forgotten...
  9. Bauhaus because I've heard a million songs like Original Prankster in my life
  10. They're one of my favourite bands these days. Out at the Pictures is my favourite, works so well as an albums starter. And whoever told me to go get If It Was You - Tegan and Sara - Paj or Chairdriver I think - then I owe you one because it's amazing. A bit less T&C and a bit more conventional at times but still. Living room = What a track. Wonder if my Tegan and Sara obsession will end anytime soon.
  11. Placebo Been meaning to get myself some of their stuff ever since I heard them play Where is my Mind with Frank Black. Good band, it would seem
  12. WHAT THE FUCK THESE ARE BOTH MY NOMINATIONS!! I don't wanna choose between my choices, no fair I love them both. Especially annoying as everyone seems to have enjoyed them both immensely, and both would have done well /whine Edit: Yeh I'll go with Tegan and Sara
  13. Yesterday I ordered tickets to Bloc Party supported by Foals in April Very excite, i missed them both at Reading. Frickin ages away though. Then I went out to someones 18th, which was awkward, then good, the great, then shit. Ah well. I plan to go shopping later. Get clothes, and points so i can finally play portal
  14. Even more snobby and pedantic but it's Clint not Chris :P Amazing soundtrack though. And amazing film. Hence my av.
  15. Yeeaah I guess I'll give it a try. Acquiring now. The master plan is write my English essay, then watch, then go to bed and lie in tomorrow morning. Sweet.
  16. Hangabout, is the film one weekly?? I barely watch a film a week as it stands :S That said, I've already watch and own the majority of the films listed so all should be ok... I was so close to picking this, I went for Norwegian Wood in the end, equally fantastic yet very different. I adore that film. Glad someone stuck that in. I nearly put that as my choice but remembered lending it to a friend and him moaning about it being too long the fool.
  17. Im almost tempted to give Gossip Girl a try. Almost. In other news, Survivor Largely dismal, poor acting, stupid script, all of that. The last episode's story with the family in the farmhouse was particularly poor. Still, I find elements interesting enough to keep watch. The core cast are almost amusing enough and I do like the premise, even if the scientistsy bit is lame. 4 / 10 Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe I didn't watch the last episode due to coursework deadline but the first two episodes were top notch, hilarious stuff. I love Charlie Brooker. 9 / 10 Meanwhile im still rattling through BSG Season 1 whihc continues to be awesome.
  18. Hardest choice yet IMO Errrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm Ill go Regina Spektor
  19. Both not bad, both not amazing. Lamb for me
  20. Malcom Middleton for me. Not amazing though imo.
  21. Hallelujah, it has to be. I can see that winning the entire competition, I mean who'd vote against that? Again, I also enjoyed the KoL song, but its in a different league...
  22. Wow, Im liking the look of those tow lists. Count me in for both, I'll pm you choice in a min EDIT: We've talked about the film before but, Jayseven, I love you for putting Waking Life in
  23. Hangabout, which company is this? Haven't heard about this. Which company? In other news - Got my coursework draft back for English: 'the worst I have read'. Good news. - Barely started my Biology thats due in tomorrow - I've lost my phone Im pretty sure I only come on this thread to moan about shit
  24. Thats actually quite a tough one Polysics was some awesome shit Yet Fake Plastic Trees is doubtlessly amazing. But you know what, im actually guna go Polysics That aint my favourite Radiohead, Polysics was just awesome
  25. You have just summed up my life of late. I have biology coursework that was due in today, but because Im not quite sure what I'm meant to be doing Im putting it off and putting it off. Facebook, msn, here have been all I've been doing since about 3pm. This is a bad / depressing way to live. / glum post
