  1. I definitely won. There is no way that I didn't win. Yay uni ect
  2. Anyone a fan of Dananananakroyd? Silly name but ya know. Indie 'fight pop' as they describe themselves. Anwyways, saw them live the other night, SO MUCH FUN. One of the best gig's I've ever been to... these guys are the kings of crowd interaction. Wall of hugs ftw... then they ran out into the crowd and played one of the songs, vocalist on the guitarist's shoulders, madess. I love.
  3. Indeed, Ophelia is a stunning painting. I love the look of Jenkins aswell, that kind of stuff's my favorite type of art. Andy Goldsworthy All made entirely with natural resources - sticks, stones, pins, flowers. Stunning.
  4. Well to be fair it;s not like they are... this last week has been dress up galore (thought tonight has been the only night Ive bothered properly) Pub crawl followed by two house parties. Good night. lhurve.
  5. Gossip Girl Rufus's KISS pumpkins = probably the best pumpkins I've ever seen, ever Buzzcocks WIND OF CHANGE
  6. Ooh good contest, Im somewhat surprised how close it is. I love both, played WAS to death a few years back, great catchy power pop. Still, There is a Light that Never Goes Out is one of my current favorite songs evarrr, got me into the Smith, so gets my vote easily. Prefer Please Please Please though
  7. That was annoying me all through the episode, had to google her to work out why I recognised. Quite enjoyed the ep. I reckon the kid is Harold from Harold and Kumar's, sort of like he knew he was gonna die but wanted a kid, and Janis and the OC chick wanted a kid so yeahse.
  8. Tis danloltrees http://www.thesixtyone.com/#/danloltrees/ And yours? Have to admit I'd almost forgotten about its existence until you mentioned it
  9. Yeah I've been using that for a while too, definitely recommended, found a load of good stuff from it. Seems to be mainly small bands though, which is kind of a good thing I guess. Quite loving Sainthood now. Northshore is a lovelyly addictive slice of power punk pop. Saw Delphic the other night. Could be awesome one day. Seeing Camera Obscura later
  10. Ahh bad housemates. I love mine but: One doesn't drink (which is fine) and doesn't go out (which sucks a little) and I rarely see him. Nice guy though. One's a great laugh on nights out but a moody pain in the ass. The kind of person who whines about the state of the kitchen when it's actually pretty clean, and the only reason it;s not is her fucking stuff. And she's a huge bitch, always slagging off the antisocial guy. And the other one's a scouser. Nice though, but also abit bitchy. Anyway, literally 5am at the dawn of my first essay hand in date. Fuck me, Id nearly finished on sat night, dunno how I've spent so long on the last paragraph :S Bedtime now. Much needed.
  11. I swear the original thread was cockablock with great stuff, who nominated all this! Ashley has convinced me to not vote for you. Hurt so Good I supposed
  12. Like. Carla Bruni is such a lovely singer... so glad I got the 500 Days soundtrack, so much great stuff on there. I could never get into So Jealous, my least favorite of their albums. Quite enjoying Sainthood now... The Cure is great and Northshore is a great slice of Power Punk Pop
  13. Have a cool birthday x
  14. Fair enoof. I pretend I'll buy it but im probably too cheap really. Wanna see what you guys think of it, I'm not sure about it yet, certainly no Con. Couple of tracks I love though, Northshore, and I now love Hell, aside from the dull chorus
  15. They should just call Charlie from lost Charlie and Penny from Lost Penny as to avoid confusion. Worst episode yet, wtf was all that about the guy turning black, jesus. So many ridiculous characters in this show, like others have said the doctor having a strop because someone pointed out they were going to kill a patient, or the boss not allowing them to go and check out leads. Ahh well it's still moderately good fun
  16. Whats with the lack of any Sainthood posts from Paj or Chair, taht's what I wanna know. Anyhoo, seeing Delphic on Friday, the more I listen the more stunning they become. Shame they only really have 2 singles thus far
  17. Lol, I looked for it a couple days ago to no avail. I suck. In other news, saw Big Pink the other night. They were alright.
  18. OMG TEGAN AND SARA'S SAINTHOOD JUST LEAKED TEGANANDSARGASM Listening now. It's alright.
  19. So... how has noone talked about the last episode yet? It was perhaps the best episode evarr. "You are paying to get that snake dry cleaned"
  20. Havn't posted in here for a while. Pub crawlin' Classic times
  21. Try Before Sunrise... also by Linklater (Who directed Waking Life) It's a really interesting film about just two people who meet on a train. Then Before Sunset is similarly good and follows on very nicely....
  22. Watched the Marriage episode of Gossip Girl... quite enjoyed. Glad the whole Scott thing's out in the open now, thought they might string it out for ages. Enjoying this season alot, especially consideirng I was thinking of stopping watching toward the end of s2
  23. Not really a fan of either. Certainly wouldn't have picked that track of Sonic Youth. Probably will go for Rasputin as it's pretty interesting, if a little rubbish and cheesy
  24. Fuck this, that Florence song is great! Brilliant toward the end aswell... hadn;t really thought of it as a great song in the context of the album but actually I really like. Showcases her voice really well too. I'm a big fan of that Fleet Foxes song aswell but then it's not nearly as exciting.
  25. Quite wanna see Zombieland. Watched 10 Things I Hate About You last night. Have to admit I rather enjoyed it. But then Heath and Gordon-Levit are both in it. That sounded quite gay. 7 / 10
