I'd also like to know of similar songs... mainly because I Will Follow is a fantastic one to play on guitar. Have a listen to First Day of My Life - Bright Eyes, similar but more upbeat. You've prob heard it before though. Lol agreed, and I swear the actress who plays his wife has a pretty poor American accent... that or Im just used to her being a Brit in Lost. Anyways, Im rather loving it so far, thought the second episode was very good. And they didn't really fall into the everyone-going-back-to-normal-straight-away thing that people thought they'd do. Is it a 24 episode season or shorter does anyone know?

Exactly, I don't get why so many people are whining about it, he's a great showman and the program's really entertaining, even if the main event isn't always great / doesn't work. I can't figure out which Back in Your Head i love the most, album version, demo, RAC remix... And yeah, T&S are at their best when they harmonize... the live version of Fix You Up is stunning, particularly the 'what I figured out' lines. Ahh need the new album! -- Might have a go at doing my albums of the decade when I have some time. Pitchfork also have top 50 music videos of the decade which is a good article... Aerodynamic, every single time. I was literally listening to it when I opened this thread anyway. The other one ain't bad, quite interesting... but fuck me, Aerodynamic is such a tune. As I've said before though, I think the remix of it (mixed with One More Time) by Daft Punk themselves is superior

I used to feel like that... well, I still do. Much prefer to have a CD but can't afford it.... then I like having the MP3s but my mac died and I lost everything. Can't be assed to put it all back on so it's spotify all the way now

Sweeet, I'm mainly posting this to remind myself to listen tomorrow when sober and not knackered. Hadouken - great fun live. Weirdly finished at like 11ish, we went half 9 and missed a couple of songs :S meh. Biggest whirlpool I've ever seen though. Sweet as. Good night.

To be fair I only recently found out that NIN did the original. As everyone has said, the Cash version is very much in a league of it's own, phenomenal, and in my opinion one of the top 10 tracks I've ever heard. But yeah, anyway, great opening round! Im going for NIN partly to even things out abit, partly because I still think it's great

I had this problem aswell, yearned for my instructor's diesel. Literally I was stalling every couple of minutes, and had never stalled in the instructors car. You'll get used to it soon enough though I just did my first laundrey at uni today, so pleased. Even if I did start by putting everything in the dryer instead of the washer to begin with... epic failings. Random question to post uni people: when you wanted stuff delivered to your halls of residence but sites 'don't deliver to halls of residence's' what did you do? Im thinking gig tickets, specifically.

Well Simian were pretty good, as to be expected. Didn't think they were as great as they were in London a couple months back. But then I was way too pissed this time round. Audacity of Huge was the highlight. Anyone heard of The Big Pink? They're pretty stunning, touring next month aswell EDIT: Oh yeah and this is pretty cool :P

If all goes to plan, Hadouken on wednesday, Tegan and Sara sometime in November or something, the Big Pink in a couple of weeks, La Roux also in November, and maybe Camera Obscura. Love.

Haahaha that was fantasic. I love how Peepe Show always ends up with both of them screwed, yet remains funny and unpredictable (unlike other shows, Im looking at you, Off the Hook). Jeremy's reaction to finding out the baby wasn't his = priceless

This is very true. My main problem was that I had no idea where it was (at leats 40 minutes walk in any case) and ifthere were tickets on the door. Turns out they sold out so yeah. I will make myself go to a couple gigs the next couple of weeks though.
