I've always avoided listen to them cause one of my best mates back home is obsessed with them lol, I'll have to give them a listen. In other news, is it wrong that I love Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal? All this clubbing is getting to me, I think.

There's actually still hope for all 3... if I find anyone tomorrow to go with then im sorted, or if they have tickets on the door then even better. And Temper Trap apparently was postphoned so it's all gravey ^.^ Still, if I saw every good band that came to Leeds Id probably have to give up on buying food or summat. Ahh and Simian Mobile Disco are playing sat, though I've already seen em... And MO Pulled Apart and Biffy sounds like an awesome gig, im jealous! Biffy are awesome live. Although sayign that, think their playing Leeds too :P

The way I do it is cmd shift 4, then you just drag the area of screen you want to shot and it saves it straight to desktop. Endlessly handy -
Yeah I know, saw em at Reading last year, they were the nuts. Awesomely both are happening at different clubs in the union so I think I'll go to my english party for a bit, pop over and see Hadouken, then pop back to my english buddies. Sorted. Good thing I don't mind going to gigs on my own... Edit: just found out temper trap have been rescheduled. And only 6 squids. Winwinwin

Urgh, I need to find some likeminded music friends at uni!! I've already missed The Temper Trap, and probably will miss Bombay Bicyle club tomorrow, then Pulled apart by horses on sunday... godamn! And Hadouken clashes with my english intro party, bah! Too much good music!

Haha yeah, not too surprising given the Harpenden local clubs. Liquid almost put me off clubbing for life (though though it does look pretty cool) and Chicagos is average at best. I would totally go if he did leeds. I need to make some music loving friends sharpish. Already gonna be missing Bombay Bicyle Club tomorrow night as noone I know shares my love for them...

*English lit high five*. I had fridays off but the bastards have changed my timetable and now I have to go in 6 hours of lectures and seminars + electives which I haven't chosen yet. Ahh the great north south divide. I feel abit out of place up here in Leeds, even amongst the students there's pretty few Southeners. Not that that's the main probelm but yeah. Anyway, do give it a couple more weeks, I think it'll feel more weird because you didn't go to the open day, I think on some level that helps. Also, I have friends at UEA and they all love it. I nearly went there meself. Hope it works out anyways. And my time at uni thus far: I love everythig about it, even down to my bitchy flatmates who complain about the 'weirdo' second year who doesn't come out much. And I've been converted to loving clubbing, what with the clubs here actually playing good music. Anyway Im off to a school disco, or something.

Well because we suck, we didn't end up going there. Some guy in our halls convinced us all that he had guest list places for a club in town so we taxied over there, to find that, obviously, he was full of bullshit and there was a massive queue. So took another taxi over to another club with an equally long queue... finally got into a club past midnight. Awesome though, I love how much exponentially better the clubs in Leeds are than the ones back home. Walked home about half 3 I guess, pissed around with my drunk flatmates for a while then here I am. Oh and I got off with some girl from my halls for ages which could be interesting as she wasn't drinking :S Ahhh freshers week.... Need to be up for a union tour thing in a few hours. Aaahhhhh cannot be bothered.

So I found out that my girlfriend who broke up with me a couple of weeks ago 'because I was going to uni' is now going out with some other guy, and most likely has been involved with since before we split up. FUCK how could I not have seen that! Bitch. And all of that. At least everything makes sense now. Good old facebook for letting me know aswell. But apart from that, everything rocks, I love uni, I love freshers. Had a shitty introductory lecture including some German guy mumbling about health and safety for about 20 minutes, wtf?? Went to the union intro party tonight, not bad, killer union. And Gavin from Gavina and Stacey was DJing lol, he wasn't bad! But the best part of freshers has to be meeting random people. Had a massive walk with some girl wearing a radiohead t-shirt, just got home from some random freshers student house which is luxury, bastards. Love.

*is nosey* Who, who?? Good on her in any case. - Got to leeds earlier, pretty nice place. Sharing a kitchen with a 2nd year and two people with ridiculously big rooms which i can only assume they paid more for. Seem to get on quite well.... got here quite late though, need to get to work on socializing more tomorrow!

Im doing the same as S.C.G, or at least that's the plan, I'll probably forget to edit this. Can't say I was hoping for either song to win the whole thing but there we go. Anyone watch Spiral? French crime drama thing, bit Wirey and totally brilliant. Season 2 started on BBC4, well worth checking out on iplayer, no need to have watched s1. I'll give the first episode of s2 a 9 Also, im surprised about the lack of people who have watched Off the Hook. Pretty much The Inbetweeners only set in university (First ep is set in freshers week, which is topical for me) though not quite as funny, yet at least. And I keep catching Veronica Mars on E4. Fun show that.
