I haven't read Naruto for ages. Missed a couple weeks a few months back and never caught up. Maybe one day I will. Anyways, anyone watching Durarara!!? (the exclamation marks are, I believe, part of the title, no just me being a prat.) Tis very good, or at least from the first episode it appears to be anyway. Youths and biker gangs in Tokyo from the brains behind Baccano. S'good.

The Warning is pretty fantasic, I was similarly less than thrilled by Made in the Dark. The Warning (song) is their best imoimo. Good to hear, I just realised I bought a ticket to see them next month at some point. Shewd be gewd. In other news, Dan's song of the week Lovely, just lovely.

OMG SURVIVORS IS BACK!! And noone cares! But for some reason I'm still watching! First episode of the 2nd season was surprisingly not that shit. Still with prominant elements of shit but it wasn't boring shit. 7 -
My English paper went utterly crap too, literally the worst exam I've ever sat. Didn't help that I felt ill and the hall was really stuffy. Also I got a poor 2:2 for my first language essay, though everyone else seemed to have similar marks when I was sifting through. Ours were pretty formal though. Hall crammed with people, invigulators on the prowl. Felt like A levels all over again only more scary. I blame my tutor for telling us not to worry about the exams too much. And myself for hardly revising. owell.

Futurama - the latest one Forgot how much I loved futurama. Amusing and pretty and silly twist and turns. The ending was rather exciting and everythink. And Zappp Brannigan always helps. 8 / 10 Juno The first time watching I was too preoccupied by the (aweesome) soundtrack to realize what a good film it is. The dialogue veers on irritating rather than clever though. Owel. Good to see the chap from Arrested Development also. 9 / 10 Zack and Miri Make a Porno It was amusing enough, aside from the slightly soppy ending and such. Seth Rogen is pretty much the man. Cheap laughs all around but I lyked. 7 / 10 Really really liked. All very understated and deapan, doesn't have very much going for it but that worked for me. I was in the mood 'n stuff. And it has Zooey, who could sit there doing her fingernails and it would still be the most amazing thing ever. 8.5 /10

NAWWWWW!!! In other news, getting back to uni may prove a pain in the ass with this snow. Also apparently theres 'biggest snowball fight ever' in Leeds on sunday but I won't be back in time. Sad.

And cousin, Business is a-boomin 8 out of 10 A wise man once said of Serenity, 'yeah I was gutted it was cancelled, but get over it, we got a shit hot film'. He was most certainly right. Everything you could want and more. The deaths made me go megawtf!!! And River = ultimate badass. All the best of Firefly, except with a resolution to the story, and a big old (well probably not actually that big) budget so they didn't have to stick to desolate locations as they largely did for the show. I loved. One of the best Sci Fi's I've ever seen. Ever. 9.5 out of 10 I also had this also. Yet most people haven't complained - I think maybe the type of 3D used works better for some people than others? As you say, I found it all very blurry gittery and generally irritating.

I rather love this one. Not a huge fan of the borders around the other ones though, too obviously computer-generated. Or digital camera generated anyway. and this one. Lots going on. Lykes. The last two don't work so well what with the flash though. Let's be honest, good photographs are all the snow's really any good for. I got a new camera because I'm an idiot and dropped my old one and it broke. Tempted by an SLR but fear of dropping it again means cheapness was too important. ^ Bit of a Bloc Party Silent alarm moment Might trapise out tomorrow and try and get some nice wans.

One has roudned edges, wherease the other has regular corners. That's the only critisism I can think of, and it probbaly looks better the way it is anyway. Avataar I like this I do, has a nice sorta-handrawn feel, and the broken line bored is kewl eight out of ten Signatuur Even better. One of the best on the forum - though the anime used looks a little generic, the layout and text makes it moar speshul. nine point five out of ten -

That's awesome! Miike Snow are real good, you should try and wangle guestlist off him, merely for Miike Snow. He seems fairlty average in anycase. In other news, Delphic's debut leaked. It's alright.

I've never even heard of Elefun. Well gutted. Pretty much loved it. Braff and Portman were decent leads, and Soundtrack to die for. I'm running out of indie romcoms to watch, what am I going to do! Also, I hate Scrubs, but Zach Braff is redeemed in my book. Nine

Yeah, that jump made for some of the best episodes in the entire show - beginning of s3 was great. The events within the jump itself aren't all that mysterious or anything as you say. 24 - Season 7 - The episode where they jumped the shark. Brilliant episode, the whole Jack Kim thing was really well acted and such, but then, sorry, Tony, what? What? Random as fuck much? The season should have ended halfway through that episode. Or maybe everything will make sense in a couple episodes, doubtful. Big fat Quiz of the Year Was quite amusing. Brooker should speak moar in these quiz shows though. Loved the JRoss and Brand quips at theirself too

I got it!!! But then I do have a battlestar sig so not really too surprising. Inception will be a great film. I will continue to know nothing about politics. Lost will finish and everyone will groan and be disappointed by the ending.

Watched Avatar. It was alright. But the 3D didn't work particularly well - kept looking blurry / generally dodgy and really not visually pleasing. Which is a shame what with that being the whole point of the film. Also the cinema's copy kept cutting out which was irritating. And the plot was generic as. And the characters were ridiculous caricatures. Owell at least it was quite good fun. 6 / 10

Yeah that's true. Have you seen Squid and the Whale? Eisenburg's good in that too. And continuing on my road of lame indie teen films, I watched Nick and Norah's infinite playlist Which was better than I expected, a rather nice little lighthearted romp. All set over one night, which reminds me of Before Sunrise. All rather good fun, and I want Norah to be real. Nick was frustratingly stupid, and the soundtrack wasn't quite as good as it should have been, thought there was some good stuff (modest Mouse, Ratatat) But yeah, was alright 7 / 10
