  1. Black is one of the best colours.
  2. Is it really unlimited? Could someone just download EVERYTHING? (until memory/storage ran out)
  3. I hated Tomorrow Never Dies' song, and I don't mind Sheryl Crow. Die Another Day is the only modern one I actually like. I like some of the old ones for pure entertainment value...they all have their place. Maybe it's just me that thinks they should keep the name of the film in the song? Sure in this case, it'd be hard, but then, you can just interpret it's meaning I suppose.
  4. Sorry, I'm no grammar saint myself, but your use of "weather" over "whether" really annoyed my eyes.
  5. It's scary how well that mask suits you in that pic. I mean, the hair fits, and if the skin were more lumpy and darker, or whatever, I'd assume you were some transgendered witch or something.
  6. My Mask I made either to go see CSS, or to go to a fancy dress party AS the entire of CSS's Debut album. The mask Art Bitch written on it, and I had a t-shirt with all the other songs depicted on it. I liekd how the hand Im using ot hold it on (the strap just broke), I look like some criminal mastermind.
  7. Batman : Dark Tomorrow 4/10 The reason it gets above a 1 is because It's Batman, and it is the most "accurate" Batman comic game. The way you don't have to fight Scarface (he's dealt with in a cutscene), etc feel comic accurate. However, It's got UGLY interface graphics, and the worst controls/reaction ever.
  8. I rewatched Hair recently, so I'm still firmly a hippie about the military. Not that anyone really cared.
  9. Quoted for a truth of life. Akin to the inevatability of death, it it's truthfiulness. ----
  10. Moon Safari is definitely very good. Coco is alright (I got it for 2 quid in a charity shop), but it's better to hear one song on shuffle every so often. Dunno what that says overall.
  11. Just finished making my dad an introductory PJ Harvey mix CD. For all the CD's I lend him (he actually has really good music taste), I forgot about her...she's right up his alley too. If anyone's interested, I know there are a few fans here, here's what I made, to cover her sound; 1. To Bring You My Love 2. This Mess We're In (Feat. Thom Yorke) 3. A Perfect Day Elise 4. Sheela-Na-Gig 5. Man-Size 6. White Chalk 7. Shame 8. You Said Something 9. No Girl So Sweet 10. Easy 11. Me-Jane 12. When Under Ether 13. The Wind 14. This Is Love 15. I Think I'm A Mother 16. Pocket Knife 17. Long Snake Moan 18. The Devil 19. Snake 20. Plants and Rags 21. Down By The Water 22. The Slow Drug 23. Big Exit Missing out Rid Of Me hurts a little, but I hate how it's recorded so quietly, plus it didn't really fit anywhere. I regret not including We Float, but it's so darn long, it would take up too much space.
  12. On the subject of Milla Joyovotoavich, I love her face. And IIRC she made a quite decent hit single in the 90's. AND when I was in NY, some friends and I spotted her in the gift shop in The Frick Museum. [/random]
  13. Be creative then, push the image I posted back into the background using your own images. Just creates a better ground for your own drawings. *shakes head*
  14. My houses are Kinross (Red), Carmichael (Green, my one), Cockburn (Blue) and Houses (Yellow). I never understood Houses. It used to be called Dundas, which would fit in with the other named, but yeah. Houses was because all the boarders were shoved in it, and variosu foreigners and minorities (it seems, lol!).
  15. My sister's old school (she now goes to mine), which used to be our sister school, has like 8 houses, all with random colours, like beige, mauve and baby blue. And all shitty names like Lindsay and Bucleugh.
  16. They do what any moneygrabbing label does; release a new edition of the album. Look at Rihanna. (Though it's an OLD tactic)
  17. Usually not long at all...I go to bed when I'm tired, and if I don't, I'll read first. I mean there's nights when It's horrible, and you can't get to sleep at all, but then you realise that what felt like one long section of not getting to sleep, was just disjointed portions of sleep, when you suddenly realise what time it is.
  18. Yeah, but part of the bag was that it was done by 3 different people. Although, why would you be so boring as to only do the whiteout if you actually have them both at your beck and call?
  19. Same old, same old. Went to my Mentor class (we're given a class to be like big helpers/friend in, I'm with 12 year olds) for the second time...been a few times in between but no one's ever there! It was kinda awkward just trying to strike up convo with random children. Dunno, maybe I'll get into it. Did more work in D.T blah. Spent my double free period and half of lunch break finishing my Hamlet essay. Went to the common room, chatted, made people listen to my iPod on the speakers. (Yay for promoting Tori Amos to someone who was actually interested) English di more Hamlet, love it. I hate when we have Poems and not Drama in English (it's split equally throughout the week), so yeah. Did Badminton, half the group had mysteriously disappeared though. Tomorrow I'm going to the meeting for Carmichael (my house) Division Drama. I love how my school has the same number of houses, and house colours as Harry Potter. I'd be in Slytherin, if I went to Hogwarts.
  20. Good god, will the insanity never end? ---- I can't stop listening to another Mercury nominated album, The Bairns, by Rachel Unthank & The Winterset. I would never have pegged myself as a fan of rearranged old northern england folk songs, but yeah. It's great. And Liz Phair...Exile In Guyville is great. Thought it would be with all the praise I read about it before buying it.
  21. Why don't you tell teachers you feel repressed by the Head Boy or whatever? Goad him into insulting you or something, then get your sweet revenge.
  22. I think I have a roast chicken fetish, I seriously do. I subconciously chose that as a "random" thing for my BISHES, but the sad truth is, I have a picture of an Roast Oakham Chicken, being slowly cut, on my wall, alongside my concert tickets, drawings and photos.
