First life drawing class of the term! It was ok. I like my drawing enough. It's not as bold or gestural as I think it was "meant" to be, but then he did say that it's less about tasks, more about our own style. I think only a few of the completed pieces actually captured the form "truely", and I feel mine was one of them, which I suppose is good.

Yesterday A Fight Like Apes T-Shirt " " Poster " " Single Free " " Badges Signed and everything, since they were selling the stuff. Actually felt like jokey friends by the end, since we chatted before and after teh show, and they threw a pair of their light up shades at chair, and general references to us throughout the show. A dark red checked shirt from Urban Outfitters (my new favourite shop, damn Edinburgh not having one. I love how it tells you what CD's one can listen to, the select few displayed on a table. I was releived that I owned a fair few of the albums.) Today I love 6 films for £7. Actually so worth it (allthough I bought it on a whim, by coincidence the day I decided I wanted to see th original, the whole series is cheapo).

Didn't like the singles I heard when they were popular last year/earlier this year. ----- Loving a mix of Dresden Dolls someone sent me. Very cool. Bought Ladyhawke's debut album, about to listen.

What he said. Fight Like Apes are jus tso friendly and cool, I love my poster. The singer had to justify her own autograph, after the keyboard player guy wrote he loved me, by adding "I Henry also". Then she randomly drew an arrow to thew drummer crotch, and wrote "Tom's Crotch". Felt a joke. ALSO; The Ting Tings are 30x better live than on album. I kid you not. Everyone one of the meh songs on the album are amazing. Leakage, I assume? Cause I looked for it in HMV today, and it said it came out tomorrow.

LOL! He chose to cut his hair into what looks like a croissant down the middle of his forehead. If we were in a cartoon, I'd see the joke of it, but yeah. At least he isn't afraid of standing out.

Yeah, but 10's should really be reserved for actually astounding films. (Or whatever, 5's, 7's, whatever the max is) --- The Breakfast Club Surprised by how good it actually was. Recommended! Very interesting and actually very sad at bits. I want to make love to the retarded art whore one.

I don't get what that pose is meant to be. While they don't look bad as I thought they would, I still might have to gather my thoughts on them. They are a brave fashion statement, but then it might be one step too far, John. I mean, Maria Brimelow's (FUNNY IF THIS COMES UP ON GOOGLE) bag was one thing, but this is redeckolus.

Tried the couple thing, but to be fair, one of the people I was with looks, and acts really non-18-like. I don't think I look 18 either, but they were all reassuring me I did. Either way, nothing came of it.

Cabaret One of my favourite films...visually stunning, in a dirty, hedonistic way. Deals with themes subtley and intelligently, and the characterization is excellent. Plus it has great music, very evocative (rightly) of the 30's. Refreshingly un-musically (in that the songs are actually in the context of a club, not just random outburts in the street) musical, that's really more of a drama. Perverse, engaging and socially aware.

A shop feels the most satisfying and personal thing, If you like whatever you're selling, or if it's a craft shop, where you aren't just selling, but making stuff too. I'd like to own either a little shop like that, or a music shop. Maybe a record company.

It's so fucking funny, btw. Just reading the script in a group is hilarious. Especially since we've changed one of the female characters to be being played by a guy, so he has this hilarious "gay" voice he always puts on.

The way you say Miss just bring to my mind sexual thoughts. Please don't ask me why. ----- Fine day, my drama group are planning on seeing the play we're doing live on stage, to get an idea on how it's done. Everytime I read through my lines, I actually end up laughing. It's fucking hilarious. Everyone else says they piss themselves jsut highlighting the script. It's Noises Off, which I'd never heard of beforehand. Someone/a friend in said group is having their birthday party tomorrow, and I'm not sure if it's invite only. I doubt it, and I'll just pop along anyway, and use sarcasm to ease myself in the door. Plus a girl said at the Gap year Fair today "See you tomorrow!", so yeah, I'll say she invited me. It probs won't matter, the host and I get on well. Going to Glasgow for a laugh on Sunday, all day, will do some sketching at Kelvingrove, before meeting up with chairdriver and others I think, to see Ting Tings. They should be good. Not great, but fun. I'll revise their album now.
