  1. ^ Your English, from what I've seen in flawless. --- Only took French up to GCSE, so I know a bit. Bear in mind I got a C, after a fair amount of revision, so yeah. I can translate/I know words, and can get the gist of sentences, but I don't know things like tenses anymore. (Really)

I have no interest or intention in ever watching this, but I love that girl in the bandana and heels. My kinda girl.
  3. Hmm, to see if anything happens because of it, I'll vote Fandango. For now. And, yeah, Oxigen is right about Shadowcat...can't think who else REALLY lends themself to an investigative role as much as she does. [bah at no edit] ...but surely they'd have given her some power so that, accurately, a web cocoon wouldn't hold her? Maybe not. Maybe Wolfsbane? Sniffing out stuff. Probably would have been a mention of "beatly" or "hairy" or something though.
  4. Yeah, one thing I greatly disagree with is the castration. Especially in those like the guy I know, who hadn't actually done anything.
  5. Goldfrapp Tour Shirt, before seeing them live. £18 Converse, from Schuch. £35
  6. If this is a serious (rather than a very simple) Marvel game, Mystique could be a member of the X-men, on her own good merits, or whatever. Last time I read X-men, she was on the team. [/random point] I have nothing worth contributing blah blah.
  7. I bought Come On Die Young, and was left ever so slightly cold. I've listened to it a couple of times, but I dunno.
  8. Swearing in a complaint letter makes you about a hundred times less likely to actually get anything to change. It's quantity of complaints/requests, not "quality".
  9. Oh. My. God. I went to the last day of the Hydro Connect Festival yesterday evening, and met up with Chair and other friends. One of the greatest music experiences of my life. Elbow (hated the sound of what I heard before seeing them live...great fun, but not my kinda thing) Goldfrapp = One of the 2 bands I specifically wanted to see, and they were stupendous. Great!. However, Sigur Ros was probably the greatest thing I have ever seen in my life, whilst also hearing it. I'm not a fanboy, I just like them, but NOTHING compares to this. Not even the Bjork show (more emotional attachment), but this was ecstacy. Amazing. Never lagged, just a dreamsoundscape of beauty and anger and awesome and love. If they are anywhere near you playing, It will be worth almost anything to go and see them. I'm still reeling from it. Absolutely unspeakably unbelievably terrific. The greatest thing I've ever been to, ever.
  10. It's just meant to be like, progessive, or whatever. As in one thing inevitably leads to another, as a major thrill/part of it, is the "risk", apparently. I'm just the messenger of this info. And it's not the same as raping a blonde person, it's part and parcel with the diagnosis of paedophilia.
  11. I think your hair looks better in the second pic...are you saying you think it looks worse?
  12. I love these films, for their sheer loveability. They don't take themselves seriously, yet are strangely endearing. I thought I preferred the second one, but I rewatched it the other day, and I instensely disliked how short it was, and how they handled Doom in general. ---- The Big Easy A really great film! I'd only ever heard of it, but never seen it. I love the characterization.
  13. Paedophilia has more in common with (potentially harmful to others)mental diasabilities, than homosexuality. Both are diagnosable mental irregularities (whatever the term should be).
  14. People who actually believe that what's within the Bible is completely true. (Most religious people annoy me, simply because have that comfort blanket of faith, but that's my own jealousy coming into play. My own flaw) People like true racists/homophobes etc. People who are really annoyingly naive/behind the times. (Can't be arsed explaining, but like...drinking because you think it's cool, despite everyone else did that a year earlier and stuff.)
  15. Apparently Paedohpilia is a syndrome/disease/officially diagnosed mental problem. It's progressive. One thing inevitably leads to another, so to speak. So yes, it's almsot certain it would lead to child abuse. [/not my opinion/conclusion, only what I understand of the situation] Being interested in GTA games isn't the same. It's not a dieases or whatever. People thought I meant that. Same way being interested in the history of Titanic and it's sinking doesn't mean you will go out and sink a boat. Just in the case of Paedohilia, apparently you will go the extremes. Again, I was told this.
  16. God, I'm awful at the game of life. Sorry! NEW Paj Meen Ah's Lovely BISH List - A re-enactment/physical re-interpretation of the events contained within any song by S Club 7. (100) - A picture of you on rollerskates/blades, outdoors. (150) - A (decent) picture of a drawing you've done of a cultural icon, IN CHALK ON BLACK PAPER. (100) - A cooked roast chicken (200) - 3 copies of Shakespeare plays (in any form; ie. Book, script, DVD...) (150) - 2 people simultaneously holding a Tori Amos album, over a full bath of water. (175) - A HeroClix figure. (125) =1000
  17. Uh...did you read the first part? I was referring to it as a symptom of Paedophilia supposedly being a syndrome/diease or something. I wasn't saying it in general...I'm not that stupid.
  18. "I really value your opinion on this kinda thing" My dad, a fellow fan of Madonna's edgier stuff from the 90's, after I told him that Hard Candy wasn't worth his money, let alone his time.
  19. According to my mum, who is technically qualified to make this statement, Paedophilia is a recognisable disorder/syndrome or whatever the term is. And if one isn't stopped at the stage where it's just curiosity/pictures, it will turn into full-on abuse of children. No idea if that's true or not, but it's presumably a textbook definition.
  20. ZOMG When was this on? I've been desperate to see this for ages! I don't own it, and the DVD appears to have been cancelled/withdrawn or something, until they can capitalise on a rerelease when The Dark Knight is released. I know it's bad, but I have a Batman fetish.
  21. My P6 teacher was fired after one night, when he got tipsy with older boys (he was a housemaster of the boarding house part of the school), it was discovered that he had "unsuitable" pictures of children from school. I mean, he hadn't done anything to them, just had a disturbing amount of photos of them. Then, exactly a week ago, I found out my old Youth Coordinator from the church I used to go to had left mysteriously in January, because he's facing a sentence, for being a member of an extreme child porn website. Because I knew these people to be both nice and (fairly) normal people, I feel deeply sorry for them. The teacher was only on the sex offenders list, nothing else, thank god. But becasue the Youth Coordinator had paid for images of actual child sexual abuse, my feelings are mixed. I sometimes think that yeah, we can't help what we're attracted to, but then the whoel abuse thing comes into it. It's all extremes.
  22. Kylie Minogue has some very good pop songs. Slow is one of the best, but Chocolate is my favourite. Also In Your Eyes is good too. It's just like stepping into a dream, it's beautiful, the melody does me in. ---- The awesome Tricky jokingly covered Slow for his last album too.
  23. You hadn't listened to them before? They win me. --- I can't decide how much I like Noah And The Whale. I love songs like 5 Years Time, and the fact Laura Marling is backing vocalist makes them 10x better for me, but often the guys voice drags on ever so slightly. I dunno. I'm still listening to it, so I must like it!
  24. If you can somehow arrange the bones so I can get the general shape of a chicken/if it's not too destroyed, sure. Scavenging ftw.
  25. Agh! Sorry for making a list of BISHES. Here it is... Paj Meen Ah's Lovely BISH List - A re-enactment/physical re-interpretation of the events contained within any song by Sugababes. - A picture of you on rollerskates/blades, outdoors. - A picture of a drawing you've done of a cultural icon, IN CHALK ON BLACK PAPER. - A cooked roast chicken Is that ok? I've added points, dunno what they should be really.
