    Fears

I'm afraid of not having a "safety crutch". Like, I'm in no way afraid of heights, when I'm in a plane, or when I do those HUUUUUGE rides that shoot you up alongside a tower in Florida and such. But I actually thought I was going to die when I had to climb up hills on a school trip. At one point I was clinging to the grass cause I couldn't stand up...I was sure I'd teeter back to my death. I actualy like heights, otherwise.
  2. My thoughts exactly. I came across 2 interesting little gems last night; the Sidechains Remix of Into The Groove, which is amazing, and Dragonette's ZZ Topp cover (which is ok, but nothing liketheir best stuff).
  3. Those were my reasons/ideas for including Black Mask in the third one. He's my no.1 choice by a long-shot.
  4. Hopefully it'll all blow over. If not, I hate bitchiness.
  5. Yup, he's private. Feels really pointless paying for it when it's like that, but yeah. My mum has a fear of NHS dentistry or something. :p
  6. Don't have a paying job yet. I get £50 a month into my bank account.
  7. Saw Alanis Morissette last night. Was awesome divided many ways, so it would be spread over several plates. Went to dentist, literally for a 2-minute check-up. And that probably cost my dad like £50. Went to my aunt's house with the rest of family. My oldest cousin (11) is actually so annoying and childish. I hate when idiots sulk becuase they were (rightfully) told off. I have to do more art tonight.
  8. I'll be getting Bloc Party's new album. Never been inclined to, but I like the direction they're going with Mercury, plus if Biko is a Gabriel cover, that's a plus, as it's my favourite song by him.
  9. 27 Dresses was quite refreshing, considering how many by-the-numbers rom-coms I'd seen. And yeah, it's not about dresses.
  10. Yeah, Alanis was amazing last night. That Particular Time was my highlight just because of all the songs she could have played from Under Rug Swept she chose such a random one (I love it though). She was kinda funny in her actions, like she had to run up to the mic bewfore singing, and had loads of running fits during uninvited (but I know that's what she does though). At the wall-of-sound-epileptic-fit-inducing-light-show ending to Moratorium, she was spinning on the spot for literally 2 minutes, before launching into You Oughta Know. I just love.
  11. Good god, no. What reason is there to seperate? Scotland's parliament is annoyingly crap at doing anything, so for the love of mercy, keep us together.
  12. Oh well, I forgot Avatar, which I don't think I've ever seen.
  13. 4 episodes, I think, if uou count his brief appearance at the end of "Off Balance". Then he appeared in one episode of Batman Beyond, and one episode of Superman. Not that many.
  14. Mine is the evolved form of "Pashmina" another username I use a lot. My user profile is the first hit on google.
  15. 8/10 A great pic, and I like the subtle text. It works well with the white of the background too. However, Katy Perry is kinda overrated atm...(despite me introducing you to her) I wouldn't call myself a fan. Except for Waking Up In Vegas. I like that.
  16. Yeah, there's some beautiful shots of the pool from below. *won't spoil*
  17. That song just put me on edge when it came on! It's good, and I like Johnny Cash well enough...but I was already tense enough. Well, not tense. But anxious. That song was like a slap in the face by Skynet, like it's patronising us.
  18. That song is annoyingly generic. And She's The Man? Really? Though speaking of P!nk reminded me that I heard her new single has leaked. I'll post it here, but it'll be my first listen. Missundaztood and Try This are both pretty good albums. Her last one not so much. I'll edit in my thoughts. EDIT: It's ok. A dancier sound. Nothing overly special.
  19. Season Finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles MOTHER THERESA HOLD ME. It literally leaves you with several too many cliffhangers for one cliff to sustain their weight. 10/10
  20. No...the last series ends with an episode that looks into the futures of both Will and Grace. It's ok, not great at all. ----- X Factor Meh/10 So tired of the old sob-stories. "I'm a 17-year-old army veteran from a small town in Wales, which has a high suicide rate. Oh, and I'm a full-time carer for my mum. And I have no legs." But I liked seeing Cheryl deciding what (not) to do about that guy from her old show.
  21. Yeah she has like an extra...lobe...on her nose. I'd hit it. WITH A TENNIS RACKET.
  22. I don't get what goes through people like these heads...I mean, only one of the two actually sang, so why was it a 'group"? The other, moronic looking one just badly imitated what sounded like a jamaican accent for a few "Oh"'s and "Ah"'s.
  23. No, I'm sure I have Maneater somewhere, and I remember not being very interested by it. Not given it much of a chance though. ---- I could love 5 Years Time by Noah & The Whale. I know i'm about five years late, but I don't pay attention to the charts. Plus Laura Marling wins with anything she does.
  24. Sorry to hear about that, Raining. --- Went to get a bus pass, but they needed a proof of D.O.B or something, so I'll have to that another time. Went to CEX (lozzle) and bought Red Eye, and my sister bought some Friends DVD's and another shit looking Rom-Com. I bought Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down by Noah & The Whale at FOPP for £8. Then I had chinese for lunch, at the first chinese restaurant in Edinburgh. I like it less nowadays, due to the head woman, who always looks and acts as if you personally have dissapointed her or something. Also the fact that I keep spying many raggedy chinese people living in the horrifically kept rooms above the restaurant from outside. Most people don't look up and see them. Sure there's something fishy going on there.
