Living Room's the only one I can isten to from If It Was You these days. I would have felt so used and abused not hearing Arrow. I'm pretty sure they played I Bet it Stung when we saw them last year too. If I do end up managing to see them this weekend, I'll post my thoughts too.

Well, I've just been buying (and "acquiring") all his main albums. He has like...30. So...

Haha! Apparently the cover was a bit "..." at the time and people attribute it's relatively poor sales to the cover. I think it's alright...technically one of his better covers artistically. Most have dated horrifically. It's also a brilliant album.

Woke up at 8.30 due to my sister's friend's mum phoning, anxious about her daughter (the one that's my age) mental health. I gave her my mum's number and gave no more of a shit than I did before. I didn't intend to wake up this early, but decided to watch Frasier and Will & Grace, which is nice, cause I always have to leave for college before they come on. So a nice relaxy day, did NOTHING all day. Just splurged. (Oh yeah, this is cause we don't have college on Fridays) After a lovely roast dinner, went round to my friends to dump a whole load of 'stunning' (his word) Cd's for him to copy before he goes to France, so he has lots of music to discover. He's going away on Wednesday until May, so big deal etc. One of my favourite friends from school who's still in Edinburgh, will be a shame to see him go. We and a few others went into town to loosely joi na pub golf in celebration of a another friend's birthday, but I refused to spend money, since I knew I wasn't going to feel the effects of alcohol after a huge meal. I realised it's why I never get drunk but spend so much (relative to amount of drunkeness), I always go out right after dinner. So yeah...eventually just headed home, as I had no need to be there after the chat was over.

£2.98 VERY bizarre Cd packaging. never seen anything quite like it. It looks like it might have been some sort of new jewel case design at the time? (obv can't see from that pic)

^ I liked that. Their first one was alright, I hated his voice on a lot of the tracks, even Laura Marling couldn't make me like it. Not listened to it more than a few timed whole I don't think. But that sounds much better, his voice far more palatable.

Just got my copy of Rave un2 The Joy Fantastic by The Artist blah Prince, which is regarded as only OK, but has loads of random guests on it. I rolled my eyes as a bizarre disco-funk cover of Everyday Is A Winding Road by Sheryl Crow came on...but it sort of works? Gwen Stefani pops up in one song as well (possibly more, only half-way through).

It's bizarre, cause I both have no problems with the films AND hate them at the same time (all 3). Tobey Maguire is just rubbish as Peter Parker/the parker in the movie's is rubbish. he's the antithesis of the character in the comics. I think the second is probably the best, but I still turned it off half-way through a while back, when trying to rewatch it. Mary Jane struck me as really high-maintenance and annoying, and Harry Osborn didn't sit well with me, as I hated his jumping to conclusions. Only seen the third one in the cinema, then once on DVD. Might try and rewatch that...I liked some of the set pieces. But other than that, they're so fail to me. There are some funny bits in them tbf.

Could be great. I just...hate the idea of the Spider-Man films, I can't conceive a good fourth one existing.

Although I assume the showcase of Kurt's relationship with his dad is like..."good" for american TV or something? A positive side/how it should be blah blah. He still makes me cringe whenever he sings/speaks. And I hate how bratty Rachel is...I guess it's meant to be why no one likes her, but she's really nice otherwise. I also wish Quinn would blow her nose.- 3920 replies

I loved the ant-eater, really nonchalant, yet determined in his views.

Glee - Wheels "We need more ramps in school" " NO. WAY. Those kids are what I call lazymakers. They discourage our able-bodied students from using the stairs" "As soon as a wheel-bound cheerleader ROLLS herself onto the field, she becomes decidedly less effective at cheering people up" Jane Lycnh, I want you as my mum.- 3920 replies

Got a mix-cd from a mix exchange I'm taking part in on another site, and it's succincly titled "Mostly Metal". I've always been open to someone/thing changing my general ambivalence/dislike of most metal I'm exposed to, so we'll see. So far i've heard Children of Bodom *shrug* and Finntroll, who I can't really tell If I enjoy more, it sounds very much the same as the song before. I liked the transition the mixer did between the two songs. Actually, I prefer Finntroll, it sounds like really cheap game music. Maybe to a Sonic game? EDIT: Here's the tracklist, any thoughts/opinions? 1. Living Dead Beat - Children of Bodom 2. Midnattens Widunder - Finntroll 3. Twist Of Cain - Danzig 4. Press Gang - Murder City Devils 5. Mr Oysterhead - Oysterhead 6. Fundamental - Puya 7. Edgecrusher - Fear Factory 8. Efilnikufesin (N.F.L) - Anthrax 9. Peace Sells - Megadeth 10. Godzilla - Fu Manchu 11. Angel - Sepultera 12. The Doom Of All Fires - Cavalera Conspiracy 13. Lost Weekend - The Qemists --- Solange Knowles covers The Dirty Projectors! I love when near-mainstream people show they are actually exploring current music. She does it really well too.

Ew ew ew at Marlan Wayans as Robin...no thanks. I do think they should have kept the orignal Harvey Dent though...changing him made little sense except to be more comic-accurate, despite the character already being in the film series...

Tahmoh Penikett really annoyed me. He walked like he'd recently shoved a dildo up his arse and left it there, and acted like all that was on his mind was said dildo, and when he'd be able to take it out. He was good in BSG, where his surlyness and strange walk wasn't out of place as a soldier/pilot person, and in a situation where everyday is almost too stressful/people keep dying/your wife is potentially dangerous. He was outshined in shitness by November though. She was awful. And we can't even blame it on her "being Melly", since she's always like that.

It was a joke...that you obviously weren't privvy to/didn't see elsewhere on the forums. He said I needed to find a new word etc. The fact ReZ and I picked up on literally stuns is cause it seemed like a reference or at least an allusion to fact chair and i sometimes post that kinda thing. If it wasn't concious, it was in jest...

What was the premise? Is there a link to it somewhere? I know Tim Burton served as deputy producer or something on Batman Forever, which is probably why it's better than Batman and Robin (which he had no involvement in).

@ Chair - Technically a quite bad video, I liked the synchronised hand movement nontheless. @ Dante - Not sold on Dance in The Dark. It sounds...unformed. @Razzi's, possibly...just heard it last night and thought it was amazing. Loved I Am Not A Robot for a long time (pretty sure I heard of them from this thread).

Almost. IIRC, Chair and I were more into completely nonsensical posts about crap that would annoy others at that point. Wait.

She's had surgery on her face to make her "prettier", you can see it inthe new video/interview photos. Might just be lip thingies, but she does look better in the video, but much older? -- She's just too big. She can't be hid.
