  1. My favourite album of late. It feels so concise, like it's not taking up any time. And it's so worth the time you do spend. Sometimes It Snows In April, Kiss, I Wonder U, New Position
  2. Half-Nelson (2007) Shaking. I'll take my shoes off and throw them in a lake. I'm staggered. 10/10
  3. I'm just starting to learn how to drive, as I got a car for my birthday. Can't remember what kinda it is, think a Renault Megane? (Car makes and specs don't interest me in the slightest). It might be, looks a bit like this; But then it's a blue car. I can't really tell the differences except if they're glaring.
  4. Tell them they're disgusting and that things have to change or you'll call the police.
  5. Well, they are probably the most popular rock band in the UK. --- Really loving this song at the moment. It's (a cover) from his most recent album, but rudely not on the digital version, just the physical one. And the physical version is £30 as it only comes in a 3-album set. Not his most interesting song eve, but it's nice. I like the guitar.
  6. Most of the universe seem to love Muse though. 4 people on a forum aren't going to make them an acquired taste. :p I have nothing against them, I just see them as purely entertaining more than anything. Nothing they've eve done that I've heard has stuck in my mind, except the start of their last single.
  7. Hands Clean/10 (I made them, so deal with it)
  8. I don't understand the strange disregard for gun control in the Videophone video. I don't get what it has to do with anything. I kinda hate it, it looks cheap.
  9. Rainbow Chang sounds like a brand of femidoms.
  10. I've had a phrase (and variations on) bouncing around my head the last few weeks, it's either "no revelations" or "nothing's revelatory". It's how I feel, but I'm not sure why I sortof assigned a title(s) to that feeling. I think I'm saddened by the fact. It's just like...nothing ever is revelatory. In terms of the things we do that we expect to change our lives dramatically or enlighten us. I want a revelation, I feel so underwhelmed by everything I experience these days. I'm scared that when/if I fall in love I won't feel it or if/when I have a child I won't feel what I'm supposed to. Art college is such a non-event in comparison to how I expected it. But to be fair, I expected too much, I wanted it to make me feel something, so that I suddenly became the hugely expressive artist I always wanted to be. It's actually perfectly fine. I also can't imagine myself in a relationship with anyone, ever. I love all the friends I've made recently, but I still only want to bathe in the sound of lo-fi guitar strumming and just pretend I was normal. [/emo paj returns, clad in black, rambling in a pretentious manner]
  11. Hmm internal-external personal dilemma that is dragging me down...tossing and turning over what to/not do. I'm not sure whether you should just do something that really you're only not doing because you're full of self-loathing and can't handle the possibility of others hating you too or whether you should just decide not to do it because it's causing you so much inner turmoil. Plus major bad vibes from a party involved. I hate having "problems". Shit ones that are so inconsequential in the grand scheme. Although I feel like eventually all these minor problems will amount to me writing a song. I kinda need to learn an instrument first. Hmm, dragging me down = not doing it. Yay decided.
  12. thirteen Been meaning to see this for ages, thought it was brilliant. Gut-wrenching and brilliant performances, really...scary? Plus you couldn't imagine how hard I spun in my chair when Explain It To Me by Liz Phair came on as the closing song of the film. So appropriate. 9/10
  13. I listened to the free single of Them Crooked Vultures off iTunes, didn't grab me, but to be fair, I wasn't listening. I love their name, and it was by no means bad.
  14. Yours and the mouldy one were the best. I'm sure it's just me, but boringly taken pictures of (to me) uninteresting cars seems like the most bizarre thing to make a calnder of. Your photo was actually artistic and visually stimulating.
  15. Yeah. Though sometimes you want to be able to hide all the bits you hate about your face and pose so you have a photo you're happy with being in.
  16. Several greats. Listening to The Fame Monster by Lady GaGa as we speak. They spruced up Alejandro a bit for the actual album, think I preferred the demo.
  17. I have so much more worth doing with that 5 minutes though. You know I'll hate it anyway.
  18. Well, it makes sense. They wouldn't have her in a green bikini made of leaves.
  19. I only watched half-way through the episode, Rezziatoire. If you gave a list of points to stop in the video at bits I might like, I'll do it, but bear in mind I hate bad things. :p ALSO: Just keep writing Cast. No one gives a shit about the art. let's be realistic, if you suddnely got this picked up by a real comic company (...suspend belief for a second!) you'd have someone else doing the art, instead of your friend. Just write, that's what's valuable atm.
  20. It's awful, she seems to feel the need to be photoshopped to death badly these days. She looks like a chinese dwarf version of Michael Jackson on her album covers of late. This pic from the booklet is much better; clicky She is 46, so she's not too bad looking either way. That's what Poison Ivy would look like if I directed the next Batman.
  21. Oh well. I'm cease my cursing if you all promise to go listen to Exile In Guyville, it's just one of the most amazing (and accessible) albums I've ever heard. Brilliance. (Nashville isn't from it)
  22. Seriously? Everyone last night (at least in the standing bit) knew all the words. I was left dazed, beautiful and bruised for not knowing every lyric to Paperback Head. There was a disproportionate amount of lesbians..I refuse to believe they ALL liked the music, and weren't just there because T and S are lez. Hmm. -- Good lord. I could love this new Tori Amos album...I was so disillusioned. What Child, Nowell is holding me under.
  23. *gasp* Is this out in the UK? PAL? I'm shaking. --- £15.99, extortionate, but came out today, and I bought the deluxe edition since I need to have all the real editions on CD. Possibly the WORST album cover ever though.
  24. ^ I read it all, and I don't even watch Smallville.
