Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season One Episodes 1-3 Shiter than I remember, but then I forgot it was mid-90's. I kinda hate how unbelievable bits of the staging are. The vampires are very bad at everything, and people don't run away when it would be obvious to. But then the show has it's tongue firmly in it's cheek so it's fine. Come on Buff. / 10 -

Well where can I find out what date Invincible issues came out? I need that first, since it would take donkeys to find anything cause I can't search without signing up. I could probably just sign up to make it easier.

I love "Louis Lane". A brilliant variation on Lois. Her cynical, slightly fatter, older sister. And isn't the point that it's different? Cause Lois was in Smallville (literally) in like Season 4 or something. As Chloe's cousin IIRC.

One of my best friends was down this weekend, so after going out on Friday night, we went in a group to go see New Moon. See review. Then like 2 hours later, we went to his family's celebration-of-his-aunt-beating-cancer party thing, which was fun and good. Cheap drinks, but people kept buying us rounds for some reason, so got suitably tipsy. We really randomly phoned chairdriver at one point for a reason we can't remember, but it was a great experience. Went back to his house, watched Scary Movie ( I love ) then I had a really bad night's sleep (or lack thereof) on the sitting room sofa. Woke up really early and just played on my iPod until his mum took my home and we discussed her life. Got horrible work to do, start and finish my personal statement (though I might just do a draft and say I need time and guidance, those bastards can't force me. And I do need guidance...), prepare a visual/verbal presentation of my upcoming project, and then draw up a "plan" for said project. Crying.

Is there anywhere I can "get" the Invincible issues since the one with the funeral on the front? I think that's the last one I read, and that myxss site or whatever it's called makes no sense to me.

New Moon As you all know I'm not a fan of this series, but I hate the books more, cause at least the writing isn't visible in film adaptations. I saw this with friends, since they wanted to (get to see it again onj Tuesday with sister YAYAYAYA) Really bad obviously, but better than the first, cause...something actually happened. AND I think it's Robert pattinson that brings the whole thing down. He's not in this one a lot, as most people know, which is a blessing. His scenes/character is preposterous and stupid, and nowhere near as interesting as Werewolves. As with the first, the visuals were the saving grace. Maybe only for me...I love the setting and the perpetually white/grey sky. The landscape of forest and sea is very peaceful. Also some nice shots when they actually leave Forks for the first time in the series for a bit. But yeah, the soundtrack was the only exceptional thing about it. Some questionable-bad acting, unbelievable and trite plot that I think presents an unhealthy message about relationships to young people (which is kinda backward, as Mormonlady who wrote it intends the whole thing to be promoting celibacy/no sex before marriage etc). But yeah, it's not good IMO. Going by one of the films own symbols, Romeo & Juliet, people forget that the titular characters aren't perfect or even that likeable. They're both naive and foolish/crazy in love. Eh. It rubs me the wrong way. The books are worse for this (from what i've been subjected to). But yeah, might invest in the brilliant soundtrack. I was told it's a Renault Megane and I've probably seen it on the back/front/wherever it tells you. I've not been in it for ages (lessons in a different car obviously), and I've only been driving in it for short periods, and not spent time fawning over it's specs. I really wouldn't have minded what kind of car it was (if it was "rubbish" or whatever). I didn't think "Oh I wish they'd got me x trendy car, oh I'm so upset!". It's a car to me, and I was grateful to have one whatever it may be. My car make knowledge extends to knowing that ferrari's looks different to normal cars, golfs or polos (one) are generally small, what mini's look like and not much else.

I only saw bits before going out, but I'm pretty sure it's different based on region...we had the scottish one, and a girl from my school cutting off her hair and donating it to make wigs from. Apparently.

Went "clubbing" for the first time in ages. Only been .."bar-ing" and "pub-ing" for a good while until tonight. As I'm back by 2, and mostly sober, you can see I didn't get to swept up in the excitement. I did like chatting for ages with the "guest-list woman" who used to go to my school, is the sister of a guy I used to be best friends with (but then drifted away from, and then he was expelled), and was actually a good friend of mine years ago. Seen her in town loads of times, kinda assumed she's mentally severed all ties, but it was nice to know she hadn't. Shot the bull or whatever the phrase is. I like how clubs make you appreciate some of the music in the charts more. I know understand the love of Tik Tok by Ke$ha (is that her name?), since it sounds 10x in a club. I also liked Million Dollar Bill by Whitney Houston way more, as it was a remix...as was just...better. Cheap drink of the night a Loki Bomb, which I had 3 of, just cause I loved the reference. Main point of the night was seeing friend down from uni ya-da. Seeing Twilight in an ironic-yet-the-group-does-actually-want-to-see-it way tomorrow, which might upset my sister, who wanted to go with me (she loves it, and bought me a Vue voucher so I would definitely go with her). I will still go with her, but might just have to go twice (oh god).

I've not played since the summer, and tbh, I predict it being strictly casual now, even more so than recently (last few sets I bought 1-2 boosters of max, just cause). Chair and trotterp (briefly on HCR
) and I were the three who played it (THOUGH I famously got a prett big group of people into it about 4 years ago in school, but they dropped away (from playing it). We'll definitely play a game or two this christmas when we're all back together, but yeah. Can't imagine myself getting more than 1 HoT if any.
