I love The Sword so much. Just started issue 10, and I'm being tossed around the room. The whole thing just evokes "I'm going to fucking kill you!" *staggers bloodily fowards* I actually screamed when the guy vomited the instant she grabbed the sword again. Just cause of an in-joke I have with Chair about "I'm going to be sick" (at the thought of being too good in a fight).

While the first bit of Sweet Disposition is so evocative of greatness, and it was good in the context of 500 Days of Summer, it wears off. The verses/monotonously shouted bits kinda kill it for me. I like it, but Alanis for me.

Hmm, yeah it's decent. I like the distinct lack of fuss/product placement/needless insanity, as that means it all hangs together better. There's a dodgy bit near the end that just serves to extend the song pointlessly, with some odd effects going on that don't quite work, but it's aesthetically all fairly good. Reads a little like a checklist of bits Steven Klein likes. I recognised some things from his previous video works;

Felt horrible last night, missed a friend's birthday night out which was annoying. Off college today (technically would be working at home mostly anyway, but at this ay I slept until 1 instead of having to go in and show them what I've done). A whole bunch of graphic novels I ordered came this morning though, so I'm tres happy on that front.

I'm only partially interested in all this time travel clue stuff. Is the middle panel indicative that Frank Quitely will return to pencilling Batmand and Robin? Cause if so...my attention is so piqued it's ridiculous. --- It's...on my Amazon wishlist. I'm not too far gone yet. My mum said she'd buy me a book or something cause I passed my theory test (yay!) so I may choose that one so it's not out of my own pocket.

Help me... I think I want to buy Ultimates 3. I'm not sure why. I didn't really like it very much, and agree with all the bad reviews. And I outgrew Joe Madureira years ago. But I want to own it. It's all shiny, and the art has a pleasing quality, like something you'd enjoy looking at every so often for a few minutes. I'm scared. I've touched the fire and it freezes me. Tell me I don't deserve it.

Yeah I meant more like I had that concept of blending people in my head, like Anna Raven and RAVEN, both dark and mysterious etc. But IDK. I clearly just want to do my own universe. It's too difficult cause mutants barely exist in DC, and when they do they're just called metahumans.
