Seem to get good reviews elsewhere though. Depending on what is REVEALED in a few hours, I may even look into swapping over to o2 and bagging myself an iphone as well. Though I think they'd have to announce a 3g one with at least 16 GB memory and a much better camera than the current one to tempt me over.

I eventually decided to go over my overdraft for this game and went to the manchester event. Got there just after 6 and there were about 4 luigis, coupls of mario's, couple of toads and a couple of princess peach's! Didn't get a goody bag that everyone seems to be talking about though, did you have to come dressed up to get one? I didn't really hang around too long because I wanted to get back asap to play the damn thing!

Gah I got guilted in to going out last night and subsequently STUPIDLY ended up spending the last bit of money I have until I get paid next week. Meaning... no mario galaxy at game for me today. Do I rush over to CEX now and sell a shit load of games (which I may regret selling) for the cash for galaxy so I can get it NOW or do I wait a week? Also does anyone know how much it is in-store at game? 39.99 I expect?

Yeah I was screaming at the TV at that point because the blue screen was incredibly piss poor. The lighting on the actors was way, way off. I would have thought with the inevitable budget boost this season due to the popularity of the show that we'd get some better special effects but apparently not.

No Hiro + No Nikki + No Peter + No Sark!!!(kensei) = Pretty average episode. I hope this season picks up a bit because I'm finding it really slow at the moment. Claire and her dad's relationship seems all start-of-season-1 again.

I vote Sandbag to be a playable character! Or at least include some item that turns a foe into sandbag for a short time. Sandbag is the greatest character nintendo have ever created.

I think we all understand that pm's aren't the most secure things ever. At a large leap I can almost understand the comment about illegal activity. I think what most of us are annoyed about though is the way he phrased things. He just nosied through the pm's. Some balls about 'need to know basis'. Telling everyone to fuck off when they get a bit upset at what he did. He even admitted that he looked through a few pms for his own 'personal interest' That last one especially is inarguably totally out of order.

It might be a personal thing but I don't know you personally. Your friends might be okay with you rooting through their phones but I'm not. The comparison you're making basically says that if I was sat next to you on a bus then you could take my phone from me and look at my texts because it was a 'personal thing'. It IS an admin power trip thing because you shouldn't be doing it. Yes, we all have done things we shouldn't but you are in a position of the highest responsibility here and to admit you've been snooping through someone's pm's is utterly disgusting. I use ubuntu on my desktop at home. I've got XP and ubuntu on there but I'm mainly on ubuntu as it's so much more stable and just a nicer OS in general. It is a little DIY though. I had a few problems getting my wireless card working with ubuntu but there are plenty of tutorials online to help you out if you get stuck. I still keep xp on my system though as there are a few things I can do on there that I haven't bothered setting up with ubuntu yet. I'm having a lot of trouble getting my webcam working with ubuntu for example. Also my ati card can spaz out a bit occassionly, nothing crippling or restart-worthy, just noticeable. Overall it's great though. much better than xp and I'd swap over completely if it were more supported. sudo make everyone try ubuntu.

Do we not have this discussion every 3 months or so? Apologies to the newer members but it sure feels like it. Anyway felt I had to vote due to my extreme feeling that MM is by far the better game. There's so much emotion and all the characters have so much personality in the game. I think the story is the best in the Zelda series by far, including the latest addition. It breaks free from the formula, tries something different and totally succeeds at it. I know the whole save system thing is confusing, irritating and almost a game breaking issue for some but I argue that that's because you simply don't "get it" yet. It took me a while to really get to grips with it too and a couple of attempts at playing the game but once I did, I wouldn't have it any other way. It was perfect for the game and makes total sense. OoT does SO much right and in terms of which game has had more influence and which was more ground breaking then it would definitely get my vote. But as this is a "which is the BETTER game" competition, Majora's mask wins hands down. It just refined everything about OoT. It's like the whole Mario 64 / Banjo Kazooie debate that crops up every now and then. Mario 64 was by far the most groundbreaking out of the two. Possibly the most groundbreaking game ever. Doesn't make it the BEST game though and I think some people confuse the difference. I find it hard that anyone can think that that Mario is a better game than BK as BK just refined and improved practically everything about M64. Blatantly stole a lot too but y'know it was just so much better. The main thing that was lacking in OoT - story, in my opinion, was really given a heave ho. It really felt epic whereas the OoT story felt like 'just another average RPG tale'. The fierce deity mask was also a fantastic little 'secret'. I don't think I've been so impressed or felt so rewarded by completing a 'collect them all' task since getting super sonic for the first time in sonic 2. I know that is only one little moment but that's the point. Games are all about the little moments, life's all about the little moments. And for me, Majora's Mask had far many more wonderful little moments out of the two games. Many of these moments revolved around discovering more of the story of the folk of Clock Town. How intricately each of the characters stories twisted and intertwined with each other over the course of 3 days. And how you could change each of their lives by day 3. I get why many think OoT is by far better but I think for a fair few of you (not everyone, I'm not that arrogant) it's because you haven't put enough time into MM yet to fully get it and I highly recommend that you do. A lot of the best times I've had with that game came after I completed the main storyline for the first time.

I'd go with the Dell. After a quick look through those specs, they're both similar systems with possibly the Dell just edging ahead. You're probably paying an extra 400 quid on the Alienware just for the Alienware name and chasis.

I lived in Hull for a year last year and I don't think it deserves the reputation it has. Though I did live in the city centre which I thought was pretty nice as far as city centres go. The only trouble I had in Hull was a 10 year old scally aggressively asking for 20p.

Yeah that's pretty much exactly it. In previous years the US still had to wait a while for the boxsets but we got them straight after the season ended because they were already out in the US by then. This year there's only a 4 day gap I think it is between them airing in the US and here which is why we're gonna have to wait a while. If you've got a multi region dvd player, the US boxsets are of far better quality and cheaper.

Sorry to disappoint but the rumours at the moment are that it's likely to be used to promote season 4. I'd say Christmas time at the earliest.
