EDIT: Oh and I really don't think they're rescued quite yet. I don't think Ben was lying when he said Naomi's lot were the bad guys. Remember, Desmond only saw Claire leave the island by helicopter. That's it. Didn't say when or whether or not she gets back home, just that she leaves the island.

Yup, the pressure would have sealed the door shut. Also, the water would have stopped rising once it rose just above the top of the porthole meaning charlie would still have had breathing room to realise he could probably escape out of the porthole. But y'know, it's TV. They're allowed to make things up to suit the story. I think the reason he locked himself in was because he knew patchy was there with the grenade. Desmond didn't and had just made a mad dash to the monitor after spotting Penny. If Charlie had gone on the other side of the door, Desmond would have gotten into the room and either the whole station would have flooded or just Desmond would have died in the room instead.

I didn't get any sleep last night so earlier today I was extremely tired. ALMOST fell asleep but I thought it'd be better for my sleep pattern to stay awake and go to bed at a decent time. I tried going to sleep about 3 hours ago and couldn't so half an hour ago I decided to come back online. Woooo fun..

Noo, I think I watched 1-4 and then some of I <3 U in RL because I thought the title was funny. Gave up after that. I will give Episode 5 a try now though but prolly not until I've finished the Lost Finale

I've watched a few episodes and there's definite stand out moments of genius. But.... I find a lot of it to be the same joke over and over again. I think the episode lengths could be halved too to maybe 10/15 minutes. Got bored eventually and gave up.

Woo! Just watched the first half of the finale (can't find the second half yet) and it's really rather good! Was ACE to see...

Doesn't look like there will be any new races. They made it quite clear that there are only going to be 3 playable races. Terran, Zerg and Protoss. Oh and Takeo, DEFINITELY see if you pick the first one up. Such an awesome game. The 3 races play so differently, it's just so much fun. The only complaint I have with it now is the maximum resolution it runs at is something really small so you can't see that much of the map at once. Didn't notice that as a problem 'BACK IN THE DAY' but now it's a bit irritating.

I absolutely cannot wait for this! Though I'm probably gonna have to buy a new PC (OR mac?!) for it. My current one has been arsey about playing a lot of games for about a year. Damn it. The video I saw on IGN looks gorgeous. Want. This. NOW.

In America, TV shows work a lot differently to how they work over here. They do drag it out a bit but nearly ALL major shows over in America are dragged out a bit because they're required to produce many more episodes per season. Over here the average series has around 6-9 episodes but over there it's closer to 20. Also, the season is being made as the same season is being aired. Over here, everything is usually closed and finished before anything is broadcast. Yeah, they want to make money but that's because the network pretty much owns the show and chooses how long it's gonna go on for. If the creators only want 3 seasons but the network says it's a money churner so they want more then that is what will happen whether the original creators stay onboard or not. To be honest, the fact that Lost has a clear end date is pretty landmark in American TV. The network is allowing the show to come to an ending and letting the makers know exactly when it's gonna end so they can tie up everything better. Often what happens when a show ends is that it just gets cancelled and the makers have to fit their ending quickly into however many episodes are left. Take Alias for example. JJ and co had initially intended the fifth season to be a full length one and the story arc was written as such. Half way through the season the network decided to cancel it so the season was cut short, the ending rushed and did not turn out how they initially wanted it to. Because Lost now has a clear end date, you can expect to see many less 'filler' episodes in the show as they know exactly how far they're going.

Ahh I KNEW I recognised that voice. The entire album is pretty damn good in my opinion. From originally hating it, I now absolutely love it.

My hangover cure is similar to other people's here. Keep a glass of water by your bed before you go out. As much as you can preferably. Make sure you drink some before you goto bed and then just keeping drinking when you wake up. I usually take a paracetemol as soon as I wake up too but I wouldn't reccommend it as I don't think you're -meant- to take paracetemol with alcohol in your system. Works for me though.
