Name 4 Words which will keep you going forever
The3rdChildren replied to Ant-Shimmin's topic in General Chit Chat
"Welcome to life" and then add any word you want onto the end, I don't care. -
Torchwood was like a horrible ripoff of the X Files. If I had to pick a favourite, I'd pick E4. When Big Brother isn't on, there is always something on it worth watching. If not, there's usually something on the way.

Big bowl full of assorted crisps. The more variety the better.

Now I'm no authority on Zelda games. I've never beaten the earlier ones including Link to the Past nor have I defeated the three day epic that is Majora's Mask. However, I have played, beaten and enjoyed Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess which I can certainly give my opinion on and really, that's all this thread is about isn't it? Which of those three is the better game. Which is the best genuine Zelda. Taking everything into account, I'd probably need to pick Ocarina of Time. Not only was it my first Zelda game, it is also one of the most fondly remembered gaming experiences I have ever had. Never before had such a game been created and so masterfully. It truly is a classic in every sense of the word. BUT WAIT. THERE IS MORE YET TO READ. That isn't to say that the other two, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, aren't genuinely deserving. Wind Waker is a graphical masterpiece, which controls like a dream set in a world unique to any Zelda before it. In terms of audio, Wind Waker is every bit as satisfying to the ear as it is to the eye, with some beautiful renditions of classic themes and new tunes that will always be fondly remembered from it. Sadly Wind Waker has several failings. Dull sailing that even an epic overworld theme couldn't save, pathetically forgettable dungeon bosses and an annoying pirate bitch who can't stop winking. Most famous of all Wind Waker's shortcomings is the ending segment, which was rushed and frustrating to play. For me the game's bad outweighs the good... but only just. Then we come to Twilight Princess, which has been debated so widely on the Wii boards the past few weeks that I can barely bring myself to type another positive word about it. I loved it, some of you hated it and others just went in expecting a little more than was given.... that's too bad. Sure, it wasn't perfect... but it wasn't as flawed as people keep on making it out to be. Compared to the rose-tinting that goes on with Ocarina of Time fans - myself included - Twilight Princess was always going to fall short. Even so, Twilight Princess was miles better than the Wind Waker, but rose-tinting won't allow it, or probably any Zelda ever made, to claim Ocarina's title. Result? Ocarina wins. Always. In creating such an amazing game, Nintendo have set themselves an unattainable Zelda standard for the rest of eternity - one even they are going to struggle to reach. Keep trying guys.

We rot in the ground, brains no longer functional so we don't actually know we're dead which is nice. Nothingness should be pleasant and I'd sure like to believe we're going to heaven or hell, but it's a little far-fetched. Not that religious teachings and beliefs are bad. I mean, most religions do present a pretty solid guideline to adhere to in life - except the ones that demand bombs on busses. If anything, the religious meaning of life is to be a good person. Of course you can always pervert the religious meaning of life with your own observations, thoughts and desires. Of course we must consider the biological meaning of life, which is surely for us humans to reproduce and continue our species. My genuine opinion is that, waffle aside and going back to a previous point, it's a personal thing we all come to identify for ourselves eventually. The question then is... has anyone here identified the meaning of their life? I certainly haven't.

People who have over 1,000 posts should be able to set their own user title. Nice posting, by the way.

The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess
The3rdChildren replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
He's dead for good. Wind Waker Ganondorf escapes the Sacred Realm after being sealed away at the end of Ocarina of Time. The Twilight Princess Ganondorf was exposed by Link after he went back to being a child and thus Twilight Princess played out. They're different, whilst still being the same. One man with two fates. -
The thought of putting something ONTO my eye just freaks me out. I quite like wearing glasses though, so I guess that's cool.

Well, I don't know about anyone else... but I buy Nintendo machines to play Nintendo games. The Xbox 360 is where The3rdChildren's third party is at. -

Am I the only one who thought the twist was kind of lame? I mean, come on. I was almost waiting for the Eastenders drum beats at the end. -
And now my evening. Thanks a lot. --- My fears are strange. I am always stopping and worrying some SUPER BEING might be around who can hear my thoughts. Aside that, I fear pretty much all the things everyone does.

Never underestimate the powers of Solitaze. I wouldn't call TP inconsistent or lacking depth. I would call the plot, whilst cool, quite poorly explained and told in a confusing manner. Don't even start tying your inconsistency claims in with the fucking Gamerankings score though, because I swear it is driving people insane. It's because of you and your crying that I actually began to desire the game attaining a low ranking. Each place drop was like dealing an epic blow to an epic pain in the arse. -
In the word's of Dabookerman's Jamaican mom. "Congratulations, child!"

The Gerudo were probably killed off by the Hylian Royal Guard. Their homeland is basically a hideout for bandits now and since Ganondorf was evil and backed by many Gerudo most were probably killed when his intentions were exposed. Those that were not killed probably fled Hyrule or they gradually died out. The Kokiri probably don't appear because well, they have no importance to the story. Probably still in the Lost Woods, they are a hidden group afterall. -
Sounds interesting. May try these out later on.
