  1. Well damn, this has ruined my day. Can't smile ever again. Nope. Damned VGcats guy.
  2. Sarka 8/10. Great shot from the video. Also, does anyone get the feeling people are posting here over and over to get their signatures rated over and over?
  3. It could be this controller that makes Mario Party great again. Mario Party Revolution online for the win.
  4. Never satisfied, are we. We all know what games will be played on the Revolution by now, and I'm pretty sure we can make an educated guess how they'll look unless Nintendo pulls a Wind Waker on us. So sit back and speculate, folks.
  5. I went into town and picked this one up today. Props to Jordan for letting me know this interesting concept even existed. I'll post impressions after I make substaintial progress. Or maybe when I get back from work. Needless to say I was instantly impressed by the presentation. Controls need a little getting used to.
  6. I doubt they'd be able to come up with the INSANE ideas Nintendo will, although that may be fanboyism talking. I can't see the new Grand Theft Auto or Halo game using that control method, somehow.
  7. It sounds very excellent.
  8. Can't wait to DO A BARREL ROLL Revolution-style. The controller design could be implemented into lots of the games that already exist, and I'm pretty sure the next Mario game will showcase this new control method perfectly. I want all the classics to be there, as well as a plethora of new and exciting titles. The great thing about Revolution is that games can only appear using this unique control method on it. People looking for standard control schemes will buy on a competitor's machine. With Nintendo this generation you're not only getting their beloved franchises and mascots... you're also getting this rather unique way to play games. Quite a bargain, nicht?
  9. Way to keep up with the times, you sir can have a solid 7/10 for your effort. But... very time I see that Revolution controller my mind boggles. So have another point for the brain stimulus. A deserved score of 8/10.
  10. Just wait and see what they do with this concept, although it does feel a tad restrictive taking into account the kind of games this thing will be useable in. Expect plenty of first person shooters, Mario Parties and probably a bunch of fighting games that somehow use this system to deal blows. Basically what we're looking at is a companion piece to the Nintendo DS, which I'll admit hasn't exactly BLOWN me away thus far aside Jump Superstars, but the real meat of the games are due soon so we'll see. All I feel that's left to say is... roll on Revolution.
  11. Wow. This is certainly nothing like I was expected. I think I'll have to wait and play it for myself before passing judgement, but can't help shake that initial surge of confusion. The only thing I can liken this to is that sword-based fighter in arcades which was quite cool from what I remember. Hopefully we'll get some great ideas for this system, and all our favourites will no doubt appear followed by a slightly tweaked/modernised GameCube controller update. Nintendo could at least add a real analogue stick onto the C stick, and perhaps streamline it a little more how their current generation console will look. Current thoughts? Confusion, mixed with excitement. Is this Nintendo's bold new direction or a step forward into madness?
  12. The3rdChildren here, so hello to members old and new. Most of you will recognise me from Cube-Europe forums, despite the new signature I designed to tie in with the m- A REMOTE? WHAT? WHAT IS THIS? Sorry, just saw Revolution's controller.
  13. Majority of the comments were always detrimental to the website, Nintendo or other posters anyway. Requiring registration to comment will now filter out the people who aren't worth having around. Hopefully it'll add a roster of colourful new characters to the forum in the process, replacing those who haven't made the transition.
  14. Well, I have to be somewhere at 9:30am tomorrow morning, so no all-nighter tonight for me. I'll have to catch up on the newest details (if there are any) in the morning here at our brand spanking new Nintendo website. Man, it smells new here. Like the smell when you pull the selophane off a new game and it smells like a Malaysian child-labour factory. That kinda new smell.
  15. It's early days. The forum ONLY just launched, and the server is probably quite clogged with registrations. I'm told we've had around 87 members in 38 minutes. Don't be too surprised if things go bang in a little while. Teething problems that will be ironed out with age. Stop worrying about it, I've gotten the same message numerous times. A simple refresh will amend the issue.
  16. Welcome to the happy place, brought to you by the convenience of Quick Reply. I can see posting being a lot more pleasurable now, especially with this fancy-pants text editing window you guys have concocted. Nice to meet you too, Matt. I game on Xbox Live! as The3rdChildren with the rest of these scallywags.
  17. This is going to take some getting used to, but I love it already. Let's all enter this Revolution together.
