  1. OK... "Robert". 🎮
  2. OK, I keep hearing that the Xbox Series X is more powerful than the PS5 is, but I think most of the games I'm going to be interested in will probably end up being PS5 exclusives. So it looks like I'll have to get a PS5 for any future The Last of Us games, and also potentially for the Silent Hill reboot, which Dusk Golem claims is 100% happening. In fact, it could even make an appearance at Tokyo Game Show. Although for obvious reasons, that's going to be an online only event in September. I'm sure it's taken place around the 27th. Hopefully it's not gonna be like the recent Sony events where they showed off utter garbage. Years ago, I skipped the PS3 for the Xbox 360, but after my console went busted, I got a PS3. I seldom ever played games for a long time. In recent years, I remembered what I was missing. For a while, I wasn't interested in gaming much because I just had too much stress and personal shite going on. But I have played my PS3 a bit since, although I mostly play the PS4 today.
  3. Can someone reply to this post?
  4. A few weeks ago, the original (and best) Ghostbusters film was #1 at the U.S. box office again!
  5. "Gimpy", stop making multiple accounts with girly names, minutes after looking at somebody's posts elsewhere! :indeed:

  6. This game is about 25 to 30 hours long. Days Gone is still way longer. It took me 2 weeks to play through that. They both deserve Game of the Year awards, so make it happen, Naughty Dog!
  7. You act like my posts offend you in some way.
  8. I don't know why that needs its own game anyway. The first game had that as an extra mode. I also thought the second game was meant to have co-op from the start, which was what I was alluding to.
  9. Ethan Winters (the main protagonist from 7: Biohazard) returns as the primary character in the next RE sequel. It is another first person shooter for next gen consoles and Windows, which is really supposed to be RE8. Yet for some reason, Capcom have not fully wanted to refer to it as that, even though it is stylized as such in the promotional material... So the game is apparently set in Romania. Ethan is captured and taken there, for some as of yet unexplained reason. He has to fight werewolf type creatures and survive being hunted by a cult. According to the well known insider Dusk Golem, who has a Twitter account and is known for his survival horror gaming related leaks, Alex Wesker from Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will return as one of the main villains. Since she was last seen (as the little girl with an unusual ability, called Natalia Korda) living with Barry Burton, his daughter Moira, and Claire Redfield, I'm concerned that perhaps they are "killed off" somehow, and Chris (seen acting noticeably angry in the trailer and then shooting a woman in front of Ethan who looks to be his wife, Mia), is out for payback... What do you think of the game being in first person again? I can't say I'm daft on those type of games on a personal note. I'm more into third person games, but in this case, it does look quite atmospheric. However, Ethan isn't really that interesting of a character due to the fact you only hear his voice, and see his hands. People have seen his in-game model from hacking the files, so they know what he looks like. Unfortunately, Capcom seems reluctant to actually show him facially. Anyway... what do you think of all of this so far? In case you missed it, here is the trailer...
  10. You mean the PS4, right? I reckon Naughty Dog will release a separate 'factions' game. Ala, something a lot like the mercenaries mode in the RE games that got its own game eventually through high demand...
  11. I think Naughty Dog stated there would be no DLC. That's a pity, as I think they originally intended to include a multiplayer mode. I don't know if they meant the overall game, or just the battle mode type gameplay that was in the first one. But co-op in this type of game, if done properly, would be so peachy. 😎
  12. All the best, Fierce_LiNk. Will you be broadcasting online?
  13. Ah, man. "Too long, didn't read" = Johnny 5: need input. At least acknowledge what I said about the HBO series. 🤔 Nah, I am kidding. But still! 😜 Why do people moan so incessantly about the game's theme? "OMG. They did this and this and this! Meh, I hate Naughty Dog! I won't buy their games from now on. It hurts. Now I cannot go on. The self-destruct sequence begins in 0.5 seconds." 🐕 It's not supposed to be all sunshine and rainbows for these characters. It's a harsh world full of death and chaos where every hour could be your last (or last of us - ha). Plus, it's just like a certain famous TV show that does the same concept, VERY WELL, mind you. Or what about films, games and books that have used the same premise over and over again for years? Oh my God. Use your brains (directed at the haters only) because you have one for thinking. 🤭
  14. While the fans on Reddit get accused of being "haters" and whatnot, I've found that site to be quite articulate (not to mention, way more active) than 98% of all other lame forums I post on. They're sympathetic towards other fans who aren't happy about the outcome of the story and the supposed lying from Naughty Dog. Plus, there's forums on there for pretty much everything. Of course, do expect to encounter some bad moderators and arrogant members, just like on every other website. I did take a quick look on GameFAQs, and they're generally being open minded about the game as well. Like, some people don't like it over this, that and the third, but at least they're actually saying why that is. And yes, folks. To anybody who bullies Laura Bailey on social media due to Abby, that's just so wrong. She's a bloody professionally contracted voice actress. She doesn't need these online man babies threatening her life, all for playing a character who few people like. It's not real life. She's playing a part in a game. Duh! By the way, is anybody still interested in the upcoming HBO series? Would you be turned off by it if the story incorporated themes from the sequel as well as the original game? Well, maybe I would be, but I guess they have to stay faithful to the mediums that establish the lore. Unless it's like the Resident Evil live action movies, that totally disregard what occurs in the video games as being canonical.
  15. While I can see why the story bothered a lot of fans, it's like they put the plot over everything else this game achieved. Namely the awesome gameplay and stunning graphics. I think people just wanted the same sweetness of the original. Upon finding out it was anything but that, the floodgates were opened. It's sad that few users criticized the game normally. Although I can see why the false advertising was offensive too.
  16. This stream about it tonight was great! 🐶
  17. Go on YouTube then.
  18. IGN = 10/10. Nearly everyone else = 0/10. On IMDb, it has like a 7.5 overall. 🤑 I heard Amazon and Metacritic are removing the negative reviews. What happened to freedom of expression? 😏 My score... Graphics: 10/10. 😎 Gameplay: 8/10. 😜 Story: 4/10. 😭 🦒
  19. If you are interested, Michael Does Life is going on the air soon. We usually talk about Resident Evil Village, but tonight it's going to be also about The Last of Us Part II as well.
  20. When did I post spoilers? I was talking about the gameplay.
  21. Well, you have to use a rope sometimes to reach parts you otherwise cannot get to. Other than that, there's not many new additions to the general gameplay. The bombs in the first game that Bill introduced you to at his hideout, got replaced by these other bombs. Only Abby uses them, as they are military made. You still use the same guns and improvised weapons, though. So I wouldn't say there's a great deal that's all that new to the sequel. 😑 In terms of the story, a lot of fans are not happy about it. Never have I been so disappointed with a game. 😭
  22. Depression set in for me after finishing the game. It's too dark. Although I always did say that certain other survival horror games began to lack that approach, and have gotten repetitive and cheesy. But this game was a lot to take in. I can see why it's not for everyone...
  23. Are you disappointed that the multiplayer mode was removed? Playing in co-op would have been utterly fantastic, giving the amount of enemies, locations, and more. I've never actually played the original game's faction yet, although it wasn't canonical...
  24. I do not really like the darker theme of this game, but I can see why it's not supposed to be a "happy story" for the player. There's definitely tons of The Walking Dead vibes throughout. For obvious reasons that are already widely known by now, any fan of the first game will probably have to try to be accepting of the big changes in store to gain any enjoyment. It's not easy to face up to that fact, but it's the truth. And to be honest, I don't like Neil Druckmann's perceived sarcasm on Twitter now that he's aware of all the hateful feedback on websites such as Metacritic. Unfortunately, if I don't take to a story in a game otherwise, or it saddens me, I cannot see that feeling diminishing with subsequent runs. So I can say personally that I won't be playing it again any day soon for that reason...
